Chapter 37: Talking to parents (1)
That day I came to terms with Ophelia and although I was taking a risk letting her go after everything she knew, I decided to take the risk, still, I created several clones that would be watching the girls for a while, just to be safe.
I told the girls that Ophelia was someone who worked for an organized crime syndicate and had been ordered to approach me to steal the technology from Targaryen Motors, but we had arranged for us. She would be giving false information until she was all set to leave her organization and come work for me.
The days passed and now the only thing that occupied Aegon's mind was the trip that the future Fantastic Four would be doing soon. He today woke up refreshed after an exciting night with Felicia. They had gone on a date robbing a jewelry store owned by the Kingpin and then returned to Aegon's apartment where they didn't exactly go to sleep.
Of course, the joy could not be eternal and he received a call from Rogue telling him to go to the academy, that it was something important that he wanted to talk about personally. Aegon told her that he would be there in a couple of hours.
When he told Felicia about this he told her to just let her sleep all day and continued to sleep. Aegon just smiled remembering the night he had sent his clones to take the girls.

[AEGON AND JESSICA]
It only took Aegon and Jessica about 20 minutes to get to her house. The one who opened the door for them was Jessica's mother, who quickly invited him inside. The woman knew that Aegon was someone important to her daughter. When they got to the living room the father was sitting watching the news.
"Honey look who's here."
Jessica's father, seeing Aegon, got up and went to greet him, he had always liked the boy. "Aegon hadn't seen you in a while." The man shook his hand.
Aegon accepted the greeting and responded. "I'm sorry it didn't happen sooner, it's just that between studying and being a businessman time is at a premium, more so now that I'm launching my own company."
"We've heard about it, Erick, and I couldn't believe it the first time Jessica told us about you making a fortune when you were young and now your own company that's amazing." The mother wasn't lying, both she and her husband were impressed with the boy.
"Alisa's right. Why don't you tell us a bit about this company of yours, Jessica told us it's going to be a luxury car company."
In this way, Aegon began to talk for a while with Jessica's parents. He knew they were good people he had proven it the first day he met them. While they were talking, Alisa gave the whole family some news that filled them with joy. She was pregnant.
Erick couldn't believe it, they had adopted because Alisa wasn't supposed to get pregnant. However, happiness was soon displaced by concern, they were no longer young and a new mouth was not in the plans.
Erick didn't want to worry his wife. "Don't worry, we'll manage, I just have to work a little more."
Aegon seeing this decided to meddle a bit and ease the tension. "I don't think it's to worry too much, they're still young enough, a lot of couples have children at this age. Besides, I'll be taking care of all of Jessica's expenses from now on."
As expected, this caught the attention of both parents. "What are you talking about?" Erik asked.
"Jessica and I wanted to tell you tonight that we've been in a relationship for a while now." Jessica's parents were not surprised by this, it was obvious that there was something between the 2, the boy knew her even before they did.
"Aegon I don't think that's right, I know you…" Before she could continue Aegon cut her off.
"That's not a problem." Aegon then began to tell her how they had already talked about this. The relationship with the other girls had decided that this was not the time to bring it up and they would wait a while to bring it up.
In the end, Jessica's parents ended up accepting. Deep down she knew that they couldn't do anything to prevent this, even more knowing what her daughter was like.
[AEGON AND ELIZABETH]
When Aegon arrived at Liz's house he had to admit he was a bit nervous, he hadn't had much interaction with her family. Liz lived with her father, her stepmother, and her stepbrother, her mother had died when she was very young and her father had remarried a few years ago to a woman who already had a son a few years younger than Liz. Despite all this, Liz had a close relationship with her family and they were quite close. Her father in particular was quite overprotective of her.
When Liz introduced Aegon as her boyfriend, her stepmother congratulated her on capturing such a handsome boy and her father expected something like that after hearing the way her daughter talked about Aegon every time. that they were talking about.
Aegon was subjected to intense questioning that night by Liz's father, but in the end, they had to admit that they were impressed. The boy in front of them had grown up in a foster home and now, at only 17 years old, the boy amassed a fortune and in less than a year he would be launching his brand of cars, all this without neglecting his studies.
From everyone's point of view, Liz had hit the jackpot. Of course, they still didn't know that she wasn't the only one, but that would be later.
On one occasion when Aegon was alone with Liz's father, he approached her and asked her. "A boy like you, rich and young, will not lack girls who throw themselves into your arms, tell me how serious is what you want with my daughter."
"As serious as can be. Look, Mr. Allan…"
The man raised a hand, interrupting him. "Call me Wilson, you're not just a guy I saw a few times anymore."
Aegon nodded. "…I wanted to tell you that nothing I tell you now matters, I only ask you to give me time and always ask Liz if she is happy by my side or not. I know they have a very close relationship so I am sure she will know whether she's happy or not."
Hearing how confident Aegon was, Wilson just nodded and decided to trust not the boy, but his daughter's ability to choose.
