Chapter 4: - The gems -
On the surface of an unnamed planet, a huge 15 meter tall white humanoid figure towered over the desert landscape with a frustrated face...
- "DAMN!, I don't understand why nothing works", For a long time I have been trying to think about how to create my first gems, which puts me in a big dilemma... and, according to the knowledge I obtained, to make gems, normally you would need huge machines called extractors, which are used to extract the minerals from the ground, which are put into a processor, which purifies, separates and classifies them into different types, such as: silicates, sulfides, sulfosalts, ferrous, silky, etc., until the different types of stones are ready. After this, they are placed in a cutter that performs and defines the type of cut of the gem.
Subsequently, the already cut gems are put into the injectors along with some of the fluids of my previously encoded body, and that's it, you just have to inject the gem into the subsoil and wait for it to emerge. However, I don't have any of that at the moment, so I have to figure it out however I can, but so far nothing has worked.
At that moment an idea crossed my mind, - "I HAVE IT!", I shouted excitedly into the air, at last I had thought of a way to create gems without the need for all that machinery, although I can only do it that way because I'm a diamond and my power is much greater than any other type of gem...
Using one of my many telekinetic powers, ferrokinesis, I focused on the ferrous minerals below me, in the subsoil, specifically I was looking for Bismuth. I searched for a while, until I found it, a huge vein of this mineral. I concentrated on getting it to the surface and to my surprise, I succeeded on the first try.
- "I didn't expect that, I never thought it would be so easy", I said to myself, later, I proceeded to remove the impurities with my control over the metals, once I finished doing it, I separated them into segments.
- "Now I'm going to invoke my weapon, I'm nervous, I've never done it before…", Having said the above, I concentrated and in my right hand, a double-edged crystalline spear appeared with a legro ribbon tied just before the tip, which hung down to the ground, this was one of my 4 weapons, that's right, I have 4 weapons, the spear, sword, bow and shield.
Once my weapon was summoned, I used it to perform the Bismuth cuts. From a single segment, 8 to 10 gems could come out. Once cut as precisely as I could, I concentrated on my coding, proceeded to program my tears to them, code the Bismuth gems, and bring them to life. As soon as I finished, I cried, and my tears flowed from my cheeks to the ground and as if they were alive, they were impregnated in the Bismuth gems, making them shine for a few moments. - "Well, now it only remains to inject them into the soil and in approximately 2 weeks they will be ready to emerge..."
To do so, I decided to use my spear as the main tool, extending it to 100 meters just before hitting the ground with it, in this way, I managed to make 100 holes of a suitable size. Subsequently, I proceeded to bury the 100 bubbled Bismuth gems in the holes with the handle of my spear. Once in its hole, I proceeded to break the bubbles successfully planting them.
- "Well, now I just have to do the same with other different types of gems"
And so, I did, in total, I managed to inject the amount of 500 gems of different types, 100 Bismuth, 30 Peridots, 230 Quartz of all kinds, 20 Jasper, 20 morganite, 20 topaz, 10 agate, 10 sapphire, 10 ruby, 20 nephrites and 30 lapis lazuli.
- 'That will be enough for me to at least start the colonization'. I thought to myself.
- Time skip 2 weeks –
I'm really nervous, it's been 2 weeks since I injected the gems, so the first ones should come out soon... I don't know how they will react to seeing me or if they will truly be loyal to me. Although I encoded them as loyal and devoted as I could, I also gave them free will, I don't want a robot army without feelings, I need people, not machines...
As soon as I finished that train of thought, several consecutive explosions began to be heard from behind me.
Turning around I saw 3 newly emerged gems, a Bismuth and 2 Peridots. The weird thing was that instead of being female, they were all male, which seemed strange to me, since I never actually specified what gender, they would be. However, I ignored that detail for the time being and concentrated on what they would say next.
- "HELLO TO MY DIAMOND!" They all said making the typical diamond-shaped greeting with their arms.
- "What can we do for you, my Diamond?", asked one of the Peridots in a deep bow, to then say: - "I'm sure you want us to start working on the construction of a nursery for this planet, right? is that so?"
- "You are correct", I replied, - "We need to start building a nursery and an extraction plant, as well as other types of structures such as: processing plants, factories, research laboratories, portals and a base. We need to take advantage of each and every one of the resources of this planet to be able to build ships, weapons and all the gems that is possible, I need an army to be able to colonize this entire solar system"
- "It will be done, my Diamond. But if you allow me, I would also like to be able to build a throne room to match my luminous Diamond. It is unacceptable that her brilliance does not have a proper place from which to rule in all her magnificent glory," said the Peridot, looking at me with eagerly glittering eyes. In fact, I found it funny to notice how his pupils took the shape of stars from the emotion of seeing me.
- "Granted", I replied as seriously as I could play not to laugh at his expression, and that is that in fact it was a pretty cute peridot, barely 150 centimeters tall. Just as you hear it, it is in fact, a quite small gem, but the 3 gems in front of me, have a height much smaller than they should be. This is due entirely to the lack of resources on this planet, since gems need, just like plants, a fertile soil rich in all kinds of minerals and organic materials in order to emerge big and strong.

- "Okay, I'll leave you in charge. From now on you will be in charge of supervising the emergence of the other 497 remaining gems, once one of the 20 Agates that are brewing at this moment emerges, you will pass the position of supervisor to him", I ordered, - "oh, and don't forget to start factories and daycare as soon as you have enough manpower. The others should emerge soon."
- "As you order, my Diamond", they all answered. With the above said, I walked to a secluded place to practice with my powers, I need to be much more proficient with them if I really want to survive in this unknown world. Besides, now I'm not alone… It's my duty as your Diamond, to take care of all my gems… Children?
I suppose so, they are something like my children, after all, I gave them life.
