Chapter 4: Fading

<p>In a commanders battle ship with the military crest on its side, a huge explosion took place as a hole was in its rear thrusters. it lost it's balance and was falling to earth.<br/>the snake's fang was still stuck in harry's left arm, as his whole body was in pain. he couldn't even move his legs, as a cheetah beast ran to him with it's jaw wide open.<br/>the beast was ready to chomp down on harry's hand, when an earth spike protruded from the metal floor. piercing the cheetah's skull, lifting it high about 7ft in the air.<br/>"a-h berry you shouldn't exhaust your mana that much." harry said weakly.<br/>berry didn't listen to harry as he formed an earth whip in both his hands, making it very thick and light using it to lash at the snake. the snake seeing this, used it's lower body to strike at the earth whip. as they both connected head on, the snake forcefully removed it's fangs from harry's left arm.<br/>it's lower body was severed from its upper part, as it hissed in pain.<br/>'You fool my whip is far stronger than your pathetic body.'<br/>nearby a humanoid bat like beast, was sucking onto a militants blood. as it stopped, the lifeless body fell on the floor pale and dried up no blood coming out.<br/>the bat like beast looked at berry with it's bloodshot eyes, as berry did the same for secs. harry noticed this, but he thought it was his vision deceiving him. as the beast moved on to another militant.<br/>berry looked at the snake, wriggling on the metallic floor with a disgusted look. green venom was pouring out from it's body.<br/>berry then formed and controlled the earth from thin air, into thick liquid like mud. as it enveloped the snake, getting harder as the snack was turned to stone.<br/>he then went to help harry up, as harry's hand were bulging with green liquid. even his neck, and his legs could barely stand.<br/>"are you alright?"<br/>"the venom is strong I can feel it paralyzing my body."<br/>"can you walk?" berry asked concerned.<br/>"I may be weak but I can still go on." <br/>"you can't go on harry. y-our not in any condition to walk let alone fight."<br/>"we h-ave to protect everyone here that's what we do isn't it?" he chuckled, but vomited a mouth full of fresh green blood.<br/>"don't be stubborn harry! the situation here is out of control we have to leave now."commander berry, was already placing harry on his shoulders ready to leave when.<br/>"wait! berry we have to get Helen t-he escape pods haven't left yet."<br/>'ok.'<br/>like a blur, berry ran past the dead bodies of his colleagues. he didn't have the slightest bit of remorse, or pity as they reached the pod chamber.<br/>it's controls were completely destroyed, with pieces of metal and blood laying everywhere.<br/>harry gently came down from Berry's shoulder, as he supported himself beside a metal handle.<br/>he scanned the surroundings some more that's when he found helen, lying in the far left side of a pod. beside her was the metallic suitcase, and on top was the humanoid beast bat.<br/>"Helen!!!" Harry screamed at the top of his lungs.<br/>"ha-rry." she managed to speak out, with the little strength she had. she then fell back down, on her neck was a bite mark.<br/>'harry don't ru-'<br/>flames started to erupt from harry's body, as he was struggling to control it. he shot at the humanoid bat with speed, as his bones were cracking with each step. but he didn't care, all he had in mind was the bat.<br/>the latter seeing this made an evil grin on it's face, as blood was dripping from it's mouth. it's bloodshot eyes looked at berry, before focusing mainly on harry.<br/>'No harry you fool you could have gotten out of this alive why did you have to be so stubborn.' berry silently spoke to himself, before heading to the fight between harry and the humanoid bat.<br/>as harry and the beast were close, he shot out jetski of flames from his hands. but the bat dodged, as it flew up with it's powerful dark wings. harry then made fire wings, as he flew in the air too<br/>"you basterd am going to kill you slowly!" he threw a small flame ball at the bat, the latter dodged with ease.<br/>but as it was beside the ball, the ball suddenly exploded in thousands of spear flames.<br/>they pierced the thick dark skin of the bat, as it screamed in pain. but some of the fire spears, stuck in the body and wings of the bat.<br/>"You dared to touch Helen you disgusting piece of shit! i haven't even started yet."<br/>a huge flame struck the left wing of the bat, as it burnt the left wing off immobilising the bat. it crashed with a thud onto the metal floor.<br/>the bat body was burnt badly with it's left wing chared by harry, as he descended to the ground.<br/>berry was now by helen's side behind harry, as he checked on her. meanwhile, harry was slowly heading to the bat rage filled his eyes.<br/>"your time's up." with that he stretched his hand at the bat, ready to finish it off. but the latter was quick enough, to claw at harry's body. blood spilt out as harry grimaced in pain.<br/>it didn't stop there, as it continuosly blurred from harry's sight and clawed him severely. each claw, drew out huge amount of blood from his body.<br/>by the time it stopped, harry was covered in blood from head to toe. the flames on his body were fading slowly, with his health and vision.<br/>he was collapsing to the ground, as an earth pillar caught him. the bat was coming close to harry, but a shadow stood in front of him.<br/>"that's enough we got what we wanted." harry was dumbfounded as he couldn't believe his eyes.<br/>'b-berry?' he muttered confused, seeing his best friend in front.<br/>"don't be so shocked I only did what I had too."<br/>harry clutched his chest with mixed feelings in his eyes. he felt like a sharp knife, just pierced through his chest.<br/>his best friend, someone meant to be his brother was with his enemy?<br/>"be-rry are yo-u out of your mind!"<br/>"no harry! it's you who's out of his mind. you could've just stayed out of the way but no your always the hero."<br/>"you fool that's the enemy, beasts are savages they'll only stick with you until they get what they want."<br/>"ha-ha! You're the one who's the fool here. I got what I want but you couldn't even save helen hero." berry said laughing sarcastically.<br/>"bl-o-od!" the humanoid bat pointed at harry, as it's fangs grew longer.<br/>"am sorry harry i tried to warn you~<br/>feast on him."<br/>the bat then lept on harry, as it inserted it's fangs in his neck. harry shouted in pain as blood was drawn from his body.<br/>countless thoughts coursed through his mind. but he kept on thinking about his only child, his late wife helen, and the life they never got to have. all because he trusted someone, he called his brother.<br/>"hahaha!" he started laughing like a mad man.<br/>"you're dying and your still laughing?"<br/>"harry I don't get what's funny maybe your wife death has made you gone mad?"<br/>"t-the only mad one here is you berry if you think you'll ever get your hands on that lifeform." out of his pocket, came a device with a red button. he then pressed down on the button, as a count down began.<br/>"idiot what did you do!"<br/>'5 4 3 ...'<br/>"save the world for now." in a loud voice he shouted "am coming HELEN".<br/>'1'<br/>'BOOM....'</p>
