Chapter 62: Visiting Balak Kingdom
The first thing Xue Long saw when he came out from the tent was the dark clouds in the sky.
He doesn't know much about the tribulations the Spirit Beast have to go through. According to Zi Ji, her tribulation was quite dangerous. As the thunder strikes would be quite powerful but according to her, those thunder strikes depend on what kind of creature is going through that Tribulation.
This means that the drugged Bird they are keeping could have quite a weak one in the first place.
But, the amount of lightning generated in the sky is telling a different tale.
The Crown Prince rushed over to where his Fiance was, as she was looking at the clouds just like he was.
"So this is the tribulation. Quite dangerous. Are you sure we can divert it?" She asked him with some concern.
"No worries. It's impressive. It's still at controllable levels." As he said that one of his dragon martial spirits manifested behind him.
It was the Water Dragon King. Five water rings spin into existence around him. The fifth one glowed and a halberd appeared in his hands. It was created from pure and solidified water.
The moment thunder started to descend into the chained beast, the very same moment Xue Long threw his weapon to intercept.
Since it was pure water without any impurities, the water was not conductive and the amount of spirit energy used to make the weapon was more than enough to absorb the lightning.
However, the weapon won't last long as more blasts start to descend. This is why Xue Long motioned for Water
Dragon King to move.
The dragoness rushed forward and blurred into energy form and then transformed into Yin and Yang disc and positioned vertically above the spirit beast to tank the thunder strikes.
While all that was happening the Crown Prince started to gather energy into his hand. It was in the form of a ball of golden energy.
This whole sequence didn't last long as the yin and yang symbol couldn't last forever as the bombardment of lightning continued.
But, it didn't need to as when the Prince was done with charging he released the golden energy in a fashion of a beam which hit the blue disc… this made the disc absorb the blast and release it at the tribulation clouds.
All that lightning which was absorbed by the disc was released back as that energy merged with the golden beam. The blast lightened all of the sky as it blasted through the tribulation clouds and made the sky clear up.
The whole camp saw how it was dealt with. The maids were quite a bit impressed by the sheer raw power their prince has. They do see him practise his martial arts and they know he is VERY proficient. But, they barely see him use this amount of raw force to deal with an issue.
Sadly they only heard rumours about the earth-shattering fight he had against Second Worship. Now, at least they can see some of his fighting strength.
"Done. I took care of it." As Xue Long said, he looked at the sky. The tribulation clouds are not returning.
"...I can see that." Qian Renxue said with a small frown. No matter how hard she tries her power is nowhere near his level.
While she has accepted that. There is still a small part of her which is annoyed that she can't be his equal in strength!
Sure enough, the blonde angel girl walked over to the 100 thousand-year-old beast and summoned her holy sword which was her fifth spirit ring ability and sliced the head of the Spirit Beast.
Moments later a red spirit ring appeared above the corpse.
The girl started to absorb the spirit. It was time for her to enter the Titled Douluo ranks!
Achieving such strength before even being 20 is extremely impressive! Even Spirit Hall elders can't do that! The youngest Titled Douluo before was Tang Hao who achieved such rank at age of 44. She is not counting Xue Long here! Because he is operating differently!

While Qian Renxue was absorbing the ring both Zhu Sisters had pale expressions on their faces as they saw the sheer destructive power of the Prince of Heavenly Dou Empire!
This was simply absurd! He can release waves of energy and then magnify it with some sort of symbol!? What bullshit is this!?
Though Zhu Zhuyun was afraid for the Star Luo Empire, Zhu Zhuqing only was satisfied with what she saw.
She was satisfied knowing that she can become extremely powerful while being under his command.
And maybe one day unleash an energy wave of similar power.
"...Zhuqing. I think our Star Luo is doomed…what should we do?" The older Zhu asked her younger sibling.
"Why would we do anything? I think it's better if the Heavenly Dou Empire conquered Star Luo. They might as well remove the disgusting tradition Star Luo Royals are practising." The girl said with some anger. She hated the whole sibling battling nonsense which she got involved into. The Zhu family is not a Royal one but the Royals are the ones who constantly engage their princes with daughters of the Zhu family for that spirit fusion ability.
It's all about power. This means they can have as much power as they want as Xue Long will crush their armies and their Spirit Masters. They can choke on all that power they like so much.
Seeing how not caring Zhu Zhuqing was about their home, made Zhu Zhuyun think about what she should do. Can she persuade him to be lenient on them?

"Shall we test your newest Spirit Ring ability out?" Xue Long asked his fiance as they walked out of the camp and found a wider size clearing.
"Indeed…be careful though. It's quite a powerful ability." As Qian Renxue said that she fully merged with her Martial Spirit. Four pairs of wings appeared on her back.
She summoned her Holy Sword with her fifth Ring and then her Ninth one glowed.
The sky turned gold as golden clouds manifested. Then the next second it cleared out and a huge sword of pure energy descended like a guillotine.
Xue Long only had a second to react as a huge golden buddha manifested around him with boundless hands praying.
Upon collision clouds of dust erupted which consumed a portion of the forest.
"Impressive… not only is the radius wide but the casting speed is fast as well." The Crown Prince said that from the inside of the monk.
"...Hmph… you negated it completely." The blonde said with a small huff.
"All I can say is that it could have hurt me if I didn't use Diamond Defence." As he said that he cancelled his Deva Monk Martial Avatar and walked over to his darling fiance who was still pouting at him.
He wrapped his hand around her and pulled her into a hug. This made her pout disappear and instead, she smugly smiled at him now.
The beauty in question wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled his head closer to hers.
"Since you helped me get this 100 thousand-year-old ring. I should do something in return…don't you think?~" The blonde said that into his ear.
His hands sneaked towards her rear. Grabbing her firm backside. He lifted her. This made her legs coil around his waist. There was a coil smile on her lips. She knows where this is going. It is about time they consolidate their relationship.
Especially with those pesky cat girls which he had acquired. While Xue Long doesn't say that, he is proud of his newest additions to his maid roster.
Maybe too proud. The moment those cat girls realise that they can seduce him like that they could use him! This is unacceptable!
This is why the blonde is thinking to do what needs to be done!

After getting the last ring for Qian Renxue it was time for Xue Long to leave the Star Dou Forest and move towards the Balak Kingdom which was on the border with the Star Luo Empire.
This Kingdom is famous for the fact that it's one of Heavenly Dou 'Marching' Kingdoms. The one which has the armies of Heavenly Dou Empire. So they have quite a bit of clout in the court of his Imperial Father.
Not that he cares about politics… he might be Crown Prince but he ain't a one who will listen to court nonsense.
He is here for several reasons. One is that he is going to visit Soto City and finish the deal with Zhu Zhuqing. After all, he is going to visit Shrek. Two he will tell the Balak Kingdom to start mobilising their forces.
The Prince doesn't want any sort of raids before he wipes out the main force of Star Luo.
"So you said he is attending Shrek Academy?"
"You heard about it?" Zhu Zhuqing asked the prince as they arrived at the city. His arrival was unexpected and people like headless chickens are running around trying to make the place look more presentable.
"One of my best teachers in Imperial Academy is a graduate from Shrek Academy. He mentioned that they only accept monster talents. Whatever that is supposed to mean." He said with a shrug the last part.
All of his maids are monsters according to normal people. He raised them to this level after all. So he has no idea what their weird requirements are.
He does remember from the books that they take children who are below 12 and their rank should be 20 or above.
"You don't understand what it means?" Zhu Zhuqing asked with a curious look. While the other maids coughed to get her attention.
"Our Prince doesn't understand because you are not born as a monster, you become one." Shui Bing'er explained to her that she can be classified as a Monster talent herself. But, she was beaten countless times by maids who used regular tools for martial spirits.
"I…see… it makes sense… all of your maids are…powerful." The cat girl said that with a nod.
Xue Long simply nodded at her as they started to explore the city.
It was not as big of a city but it had Spirit Arena, quite a huge market, a branch of Spirit Hall and some other shops. Like shops sponsored and protected by the Spirit Hall.
"Hmm?"
"What is it Zhuqing?"
Xue Long looked where the black-haired girl was looking. They saw a blonde teen walking with two girls towards what looked like a love hotel.
"...He looks like Weisi…" Zhu Zhuyun said with some confusion.
"...That's because it's Dai Weisi brother…" The Younger cat girl said with a frown and some anger.
"Oh, so we found him just like that? Quite the luck we have then." The Crown Prince said that he started to walk towards the blonde teen who finally noticed the small army of maids and a fellow blond man approaching him.
"Dai Mubai?"
"Yes, and you are?" The blonde said with some swagger.
"Xue Long. I recently found a new girl to join my maid initiative, her name is Zhu Zhuqing. For her to join there was a single request from her. And that is to talk with you." As he said that Dai Mubai got a dumb look on his face. Before it got replaced by anger. Which quickly subsided as he saw a girl who looked similar to Zhu Zhuqing. He hadn't seen her for 3 years so he barely recognised her!
"Zhuqing…"
"Save it. It appears you prefer the company of these girls. So I will keep it short. You left me and went to have your adventure. I don't care about your reasons because I went to have my adventure." After saying that she turned around and walked back to the squad of maids.
Xue Long who was standing at the side had his hands crossed. He hummed to himself before looking at speechless Dai Mubai.
"Just like your brother you are a bad cat owner." He said that while walking back to his maids and shaking his head in disappointment.
