Chapter 3: Are You Lost?

After Liu Xiuying left the hospital, she decided to try the information she got on the internet and went to each companies, trying to get a job.

"Miss Liu, unfortunately, we will not be offering the position to you. While your education qualifications are very impressive, we have chosen a candidate who has more hands on experience"

"Miss Liu, we appreciate your interest in our company and this time you've invested in applying for the post, but we ended up moving forward with another candidate. We'd like to thank you for talking to our team and giving us the opportunity to learn about your skills and accomplishment"

Liu Xiuying stood in the street, looking dejected.

She had planned to make more money so that her father would be able to get his surgery done as soon as possible.

However, she felt like she had failed once again.

She raised her head to stare at the darkened sky and sighed, "Why can't I just get a job?"

The chilly night breeze blew against her tall, slender and slim body, making her heart cold and heavy.

There was always inequality in life. Some were born in a beautiful family while some were born to build an empire from ashes and rule the rest.

It was just a matter of time.

Liu Xiuying clutched her bag against her chest, walking through the bustling city.

After a while, she sat on a bench, brought out her phone from her bag and turned on the front camera. She made a V with her two fingers, tilting her head a little and with a sweet smile, she took a picture.

The night breeze blew harder and it became colder. Liu Xiuying's hair got stuck to her face and she reached out to tuck it gently behind her already red ear adored with a tiny gold earring.

"Big sister, are you lost?" a soft, cute and adorable childish voice rang out by Liu Xiuying's ear. She turned her head and her beautiful calm gaze landed on a small figure by her side.

The girl's features were exquisitely alluring and her skin was flawless and snow-white like she was dipped and brought out of snow-white power. When she smiled, two cute, deep dimples appeared on her chubby cheeks.

The girl's hair was tied into two long ponytail. Adding to her beautiful dressing, she looked like a rich little madam.

"Big sister…" the little girl called again, her cute voice ringing in Liu Xiuying's ears.

Liu Xiuying was pulled out of her trance. She shook her head and smiled, "No, I'm not lost. I'm a big girl, I can't possibly get lost"

When she looked into the girl's big and sparkling eyes, her heart warmed up instantly.

"That's what you big people say. My big brother just got lost and we have been looking for him for the past 5 hours. How come he got lost when he is a big boy?"

"..." Liu Xiuying didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.

Who taught this little girl these words?

Liu Xiuying asked, "How old is your big brother? I can help you look for him"

"He is 26 years old"

"..." Liu Xiuying blinked. She opened her mouth several times, but no words came out.

How on earth did a 26 years old guy get lost?

Was he kidnapped? Or did he run away?

Liu Xiuying was pulled out of her trance when she heard the little girl's voice again. "Aiya, this little body of mine is sore and tired from looking for my big brother" she turned her small head and glanced at Liu Xiuying. "Why do I feel like this big brother of mine is going to cause my death soon"

"..." Liu Xiuying choked.

Where did this little girl come from?

Can someone come and carry this girl away from here?

Liu Xiuying raised her hand and scratched her nose, not knowing what to say. After racking her brain for a while, she opened her mouth and said with a smile, "Maybe your big brother did not run away. Maybe he went out to play with his friends. What do you think?"

The little girl tilted her head and pursed her lips. She shook her head, "I already called his friend, but he isn't with him"

"Oh" Liu Xiuying replied, "He will definitely go back home since he is not a small boy, right?"

"He won't go back home until we look for him"

"..." Liu Xiuying was speechless.

What kind of brother did this little girl have? Won't go home until he is found?

"Miss Dai Mao, young master has been found"

Liu Xiuying was about to speak when a quivering voice interrupted her. Liu Xiuying turned her head and saw a young lady who seemed to have ran, standing before them.

The little girl, Dai Mao sighed heavily and struggled to climb down from the bench. She spoke as if she was really tired, "Finally, we found my troublesome big brother. What a day!"

"..." Which parents gave birth to this child? Why did it seem like she was talking to an old lady?

Liu Xiuying heard the little one's cute voice again, "This big brother of mine has really caused me great pain. I feel pity for this little body of mine"

"..." What great pain? Hello, little lady, you just sat here waiting for them to give you informations. I did not see you run around.

"Big sister, I don't even know your name?" Dai Mao, as if she remembered something asked Liu Xiuying.

"My name is Liu Xiuying. You can call me YingYing"

"Big sister YingYing!" Dai Mao big eyes sparkled as a big smile appeared on her adorable face, two cute dimples appeared.

Liu Xiuying felt her heart melt as her beautiful eyes turned crescent in shape. She nodded, "Mhm" She reached out and pinched the little one's soft and chubby cheeks. "You are so sweet"

Dai Mao lowered her head and brought out an iPhone from her pants pocket and shoved it into Liu Xiuying's hand. "Big sister YingYing, input your number"

Liu Xiuying was shocked. She lowered her head to stare at the phone in her hands. "Huh?"

"I like you and I want to be your friend"

My friend?

Liu Xiuying was shocked.

Judging from the little girl's aura and temperament, she knew the girl wasn't ordinary and must be from an aristocratic family. What she least expected was that the rich little one would want to be her friend.

Liu Xiuying key in her number and hurriedly returned Dai Mao's phone back to her. She waved goodbye at the girl and her gaze didn't leave the little one's body until she left.

When she thought of the girl's cute and adorable smile, Liu Xiuying's lips curled into a smile.
