Chapter 26: 26 The Ancients
The Ancients
He turned into a dark mist and a world of pain struck him as he saw his Princess burn.
But she lives and no weapon or magic will harm her for he used his sacrifice shield on something unbreakable, eternal and god like in strength.
The cause of that is a storm of pain as he activated his main body. The thorned root-like rope wrapped in his main body shined so brightly as it was used as a sacrifice shield to protect her Princess. He have thought and planned in using this in an emergency. He couldn't think of a better time in using this than now. His main body rose and summoned all the Deamune Army he sent here in his Shadow Realm. They all stood before him with eyes wide in awe as his body turned to dark mist.
"I am the Dark Lord" He told them.
"I brought you here to give you a chance to fight back those invaders and save your Princess"

Dageal was surprised to see the Princess unharmed by the flames. He clenched his fist more tightly to crush her with the air that he controlled. But he felt something very strong is protecting her. No bother he told himself he will disintegrate her and dissolve her body back to its basic elements. He raised both of his arms and willed his spell. Nothing happened to his astonishment. What power is this? Is he that strong to stop him? He whipped his hand and the Princess was thrown behind him as he created a shield to block the sword from the figure who drop down above him. The figure dashed to strike him again and again but it was of no consequence since his shield barrier is strong enough to deflect his attack. Suddenly a horde of dark demons materialized and started attacking his legion.
Dageal smiled he more than felt that this horde is in par or even stronger than his men.
He looked back at the dark mist hooded figure clad in battle armour with burning eyes and a face of shadow. He smiled at him, "So you are the Demon MagalaN I presume? I never thought a MagalaN will rise from the Demon race. The MagalaNs should be inherently good you know? Did you come for your Princess? I'm afraid your too late she is dying, but I made it so that she will live long enough to see her lover die".
Dageal sensed that his legion were being pressed back by the horde. They are stronger he realised but it would not matter, this realm is now dying. Soon this world will crack like an egg and all within it shall perish. But for this so called Demon MagalaN he will kill him personally.
"Let me introduce myself Demon, I am Lord Commander Dageal of the Sun Empire. Our task is to seek all the dark races and destroy them. But we also specialise in one other thing." Dageal smiled. "We kill MagalaNs and anyone who follows them." Dageal laughed. "Your in big trouble Demon, your not only a Dark race but you're also a MagalaN. You're in a very bad situation". He laughed again.
"Gold armour talk too much." The dark misted figure replied, then he approached Dageal's shield barrier and touched it with his hand and it shattered. In a blink of an eye the figure rammed his shoulder to Dageal's mid rift. The Sun Lord felt his armour crunching and the air in his lung left him as he went flying and crushed to his legion who were busy fighting the Demon's horde.
Before Dageal can gather his breath the Demon is suddenly on top of him ramming his head through his face. "Demon mad!" then the figure punched him in the face repeatedly. "Demon smash gold armour ugly face!" and the Demon pounded him repeatedly until he had enough of this farce. He summoned his will and the Demon was plucked violently in the air. Dageal stood shakily and he clenched his fist and punched it to the ground. The Demon hurtled to the ground with a violent force. Dageal stood again and punch the ground again. The Demon flew up in the air then smacked heavily to the ground. Using the power of a triad spell Dageal stood shakily again and with all his might leaped and punch the ground the third time. The Demon flew up in the sky and plummeted down to the ground with so much force that an explosion boomed and reverberated. After the smoke settled the Demon lay on the ground ringed by a crater deep enough to bury him.
Dageal laughed as he stood shakily. "You know the difference between the strong and the weak Demon? The weak fight with their hands and the strong use their powers. You're fighting on a different league here Demon and we specialise in killing your kind. Now you'll die and your world with it." Dageal raise up his hands and released his Ancient spell. The sky turned red as a huge rock of fire came from the heavens. "That Dis big enough to burn this realm to ashes Demon." Dageal raise his hand again and willed the portal back to their realm but nothing happened to his surprise. He looked back and saw the Demon standing, he is now wrapped in a thorned root-like rope made of light. Dageal step back as another Demon rose from the crater and walked towards the other demon wrapped in vines made of light. The Demon merged into one.
"You are not from this realm, or else I would have sensed your arrival. Which Realm did you came from demon?"
"Release the Princess now and you shall never see us again." The Demon declared in a solemn deep voice.
"I don't think so Demon. You may escape us now but we will find you and this world will be the tomb of your Princess.
"Release the Princess now and you shall never see us again." The Demon declared again solemnly.
"What? Are you trying to cast a Triad spell on me Demon? The answer is no. You may escape this world and blink back to your Ancient Realm and live a little longer but you will always know that you left your lovely demon Princess to die here in their Demon world.
"Release the Princess now and you shall never see us again." The Demon declared again solemnly."
"Did you hear me Demon? I know where that rope of light came from. Do you see that nine suns up there that is where our realm is. That's where our power resides. And your rope is a part of another sun who just died. And that star shines on the Ancient Realm. And we will visit them soon."
"Your Realm will die today if you do not release my Princess." The Demon declared solemnly
"Look above you Demon, that huge stone of fire plummeting to this realm will destroy everything here. Your powerless. I'm ready to die here too if it means killing you Demon"

"A double Triad spell?" Dageal laughed at the Demon. "No Demon! I made sure of that, remember my Triad spell? I pinned your precious little princess to this realm she's not going anywhere, this is her tomb. So make up your mind flee to your Ancient Realm and let us go or we all die here which is fine by me Demon.
"Your Realm will die today if you do not release my Princess." The Demon declared solemnly
"No we will die today if you want but you can never harm my Realm. It is eternal, God like in strength and nothing can harm it" Dageal laughed again. "Since we are going to die here, let me tell you what will happen. The Sun Empire up there is watching us right now and they already know where you came from. Guess what they will do next once they arrived at the Ancient Realm." Dageal laughed again.

The Dark Lord was left with no choice. He will die with his Princess today and with him all of his Minions linked to him. He hoped that the freed slaves in the Never Day will continue fighting to free their people, He hoped that Gork his Stewart to the goblins will continue to be loyal and work hand in hand with the freed slaves.
"I am the Dark Lord and I shall destroy your Realm" He declared and he raised his right hand while his left hand held the Thorns of Ra. a white beam of light shot from his hand and connected to the fifth sun. The sun in the middle of the the nine suns dimmed significantly.
Dageal looked at the dimming sun in astonishment. "Your trying to kill our Sun?" He sputtered in horror. He can't believe anyone can do that.
"I am the Dark Lord and I shall destroy your Realm" the Dark Lord replied solemnly.
"With a triple Triad spell?" With a roar Dageal released all his Ancient spell to the Demon simultaneously it should obliterate the Demon but his spells dissolved and absorbed by the thorned root-like rope made of light covering the Demon's body.
"I am the Dark Lord and I shall destroy your Realm" The Dark Lord replied solemnly
"You cannot do this, we are the Ancients who defends the Light" Dageal pleaded in horror on what is about to happen. "If there is anything good inside you stop this! or no one will be strong enough to defend the light!" Dageal pleaded again in utter panic.
"Your barking at the wrong tree. I'm not good, I'm dark" The Dark Lord replied as the Thorns of Ra absorbed the life force or the fifth sun.
"You think your evil enough? Wait and see the Demons who will come once we're gone!" Dageal fell to his knees crying.
"I'm not evil, I came to understand that my powers are Ancient, far worse than evil. I'm the shadow that lurks behind. When the Star shines too bright, we are the vastness that dims the light. When the darkness is too vast we are the shadow that absorbed it."
The fifth sun dimmed and darkened.
Your people made a grave error today. I hope some of them escaped. But if they so much as harmed another realm or the Ancient Realm let them know that the shadow lurks behind, another Dark Lord will come again.
The fifth sun imploded. In its remnant a shadow was left and consumed all the suns near it.
The Deamune Realm was destroyed and with it the Dark Lord joined his beloved Princess to rest in the shadows.
