Chapter 7: THE MAN ON THE ELEVATOR
Today is much different from the previous days because today Rose looks very happy and excited. A wide smile also graced her face which made Rose even more beautiful. Even the people beside her were all looking at Rose, especially the man who was interested in seeing Rose.
What man would not be attracted when they saw a beautiful woman? And Rose is a beautiful woman who currently attracts their attention.
Rose who sat beside the bus window turned her head to the window, with her eyes looking at the skyscrapers that she always saw every day. Until the bus stopped because the traffic light turned red, as well as other vehicles using the same road.
Rose looked at a billboard showing Navier's smiling face in the photo. It was the same billboard she had seen before. But the feeling that was in Rose's heart when she saw the billboard again it's different and that was the reason why she was smiling right now.
She wanted to tell the passengers on the bus that she knew the man on the billboard, which is Navier Vance. She also wanted to say that Navier gave her his cell phone number.
But if she said that, no one would believe her, but that's okay. She didn't care because it wouldn't change the fact that she and Navier knew each other and exchanged cell phone numbers.
Rose then covered her face with her hands trying to hide her happiness and her cheeks were red from remembering Navier.

Rose walked into a cafe with her right hand holding her makeup bag which she must always carry because it has become a part of her. She stood looking at the menu in front of her and looked at the various kinds of drinks that were on the menu.
"Welcome, what would you like to order ma'am?" asked the cashier.
"Mmmm... I want to order two ice americano and one green tea latte," said Rose.
"Okay ma'am, I will immediately make the drink that ma'am ordered," said the cashier kindly.
Rose was waiting for her order which was being made. She was the only customer currently in this cafe, there were no other customers besides her and a few minutes later the order was ready.
"Here, ma'am, two ice americano and one green tea latte," said the cashier, giving it to Rose's according to what Rose ordered earlier.
Rose took her order and pulled some money out of her purse. "Thank you."
"Have a nice day ma'am," said the cashier who then smiled.
Rose smiled in response to the cashier's words. She walked out of the cafe with her left hand carrying the drink she had just bought. The cafe wasn't too far from the magazine company where she worked, so it could be said that she bought drinks at those cafes quite often.
She was now at a magazine company, she pressed the elevator button to go upstairs. No need to wait long, the elevator door opened...
TING
Rose went straight into the elevator, she wanted to press the button on the side of the elevator door but she was having a hard time because her hands were busy holding her makeup bag and drinks. Rose had to put down her makeup bag to press the button and then back to get her makeup bag, the elevator doors were about to close until...

A hand held the elevator door, preventing the elevator door from closing.
"I'm safe!" said the man who had held the elevator door. He immediately got into the elevator and stood beside Rose.
Rose turned her head, she saw a man in a black hoodie standing right beside her but she couldn't see the man's face, because the man was wearing the hood of his hoodie.
But one thing is for sure, that man is very tall. Rose estimated the man's height which might not be much different from Navier's.
Rose shook her head slowly, trying to get Navier out of her mind. Because since this morning she couldn't stop thinking about her favorite model. But it seems that Rose doesn't know, that the man in the black hoodie glanced at Rose.
The two hazel eyes glanced at Rose's long eyelashes, sharp nose, to Rose's red lips. Not a single side of Rose's face escaped from his view.
"Excuse me sir, which floor do you want to go to?" asked Rose politely.
The man immediately averted his glance as quickly as possible. "I want to go to the seventh floor," he answered.
"Oh! Then we want to go to the same floor!" said Rose who then smiled.
The man saw Rose's smile from under the hood of the hoodie he was wearing. And at that moment he seemed unable to take his eyes off Rose's smile.
Rose tilted her head slightly so she could see the man's face but the man immediately looked away to the right. Rose who saw the man's attitude felt annoyed.
"Very arrogant!" murmured Rose in annoyance. She was annoyed that she had been so friendly to the man, but the man looked away and didn't respond at all.
Who wouldn't feel annoyed if they were treated like that? You guys will be annoyed if you are in Rose's position and with that Rose decided not to talk to the man anymore. She hoped to get out of the elevator soon because she didn't want to linger in the elevator with that arrogant man.
Rose continued to pay attention to the number above the elevator door, Rose counted in her heart...
Four...
Five...
Six...
Seven...
TING!
The elevator door opened, and Rose immediately smiled and walked out of the elevator leaving the man in the black hoodie in the elevator.
"Tch, how annoying! Very unfriendly!" annoyed Rose. She walked over to some of her coworkers who were near the makeup room, her friends were seen chatting.
"Look, it's Rose!" said one of the women seeing Rose walking towards them.
Rose immediately smiled and showed her the drink she had just bought at the cafe a few minutes ago. That's right, she bought it for her co-workers because her friends often bought her drinks too.
Soon she will reach her friends but suddenly her friends looked frozen. She who realized this immediately furrowed her brows in confusion. She also turned back because she followed where her friend's gaze was currently leading.
"You! That arrogant man!" said Rose. Right behind her, she saw the man in the black hoodie who was in the elevator with her a few minutes ago.
The man in the black hoodie slowly lifted his head and removed the hood of the hoodie he was wearing. "Who are you calling an arrogant man?"
Rose's eyes immediately bulged.
"Oh! Eliot!"
Rose looked back and Rose saw Navier who was running towards her, maybe rather towards the man in the black hoodie.

Navier immediately put his arm around the shoulder of the man in the black hoodie. "You're finally here!"
"E-Eliot..." Rose stuttered.
Navier who just realized Rose's presence immediately turned his head. "Oh! Rose are you here? Ah, this is my model partner today," said Navier who then smiled.
The man in the black hoodie raised his hand. "Hey, this arrogant guy named Eliot Archer," he said while looking at Rose who looked frozen in front of him.
