~Third POV~
A glum Ruby was resting her head on her hand and staring into the distance before she is startled by Weiss smiling and slamming their palms on the table she is at, "I need you to pick a tablecloth."
Weiss slides two squares over to Ruby, both seeming to be similar shades of white Ruby is confused, "Aren't they both the same?"
Weiss sighs in frustration asking Ruby the reason, "I don't even know why I asked!"
Weiss walks out of the scene as Yang comes in carrying a massive sound speaker on her shoulder, which bounces her sister and the table she's moping on again to jump in the air when she drops it on the ground.
Yang brushed her hands as she approached Ruby with a curious look, "So, have you picked out a dress yet? Or better yet get your date? Hmm…~"
Ruby blushes a bit at that but soon frowns gesturing to the missing person from her team, "What's the point? Who cares about the dance if Blake isn't going?"
Yang was exasperated trying to calm Ruby but then notices what Weiss was doing demanding her attention, "Oh, don't worry; she's going. Weiss! I thought we agreed: No doilies!"
Weiss walks up to Yang, pointing in her face at the decorations at hand, "If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!"
The girls are interrupted by the sound of doors opening making Weiss frown seeing Neptune walking in with Sun and Neptune speaking out, "Your dance is gonna have fog machines?"
Weiss stepped up to him, trying to be civil with him, "We were thinking about it..."
Neptune smiles at this knowing he was being a creep, so he stopped and tried to be genuine with Weiss, "That's pretty cool."
Sun came into the scene, acting suave to Weiss' ire them in a friendly manner, "You ladies all excited for dress-up?"
Ruby shrugs this off acting like herself as she responds to him, "Pfft... Yeah, right!"
Yang only smirks at this trying to laugh it off being the top girl in the school, "Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night!"
Weiss soon began addressing Sun and Neptune with their clothing, "What are you two wearing?"
Sun gestures to his current shirtless outfit for the dance, "Uuhhh... this?"
Neptune steps up and holds a hand in front of his friend's face defending him, "Ignore him for he knows not what he says."
Sun knocks Neptune's hand away being offended by his choice of clothing because of his birthplace, "Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kind of place."
Yang mirrored Ruby's and Weiss' looks of being told something extremely obvious, "Yeah, we noticed."
Sun sighs at this while he began rubbing the back of his head, preparing to ask, "Soooo... what does Blake think of all this? She still is all, y'know... Blake-y?"
Weiss turns and crosses her arms in disapproval with concern in her voice, "Obviously. We just hope that Blake would relax after what we've been through. Yet it seems her worrying to get the better of her. It's concerning for us."
Ruby nods agreeing with Weiss placing her hand over her shoulder sharing the same concern with her, "I still can't think of a way to change her mind. And the way she seems to drag herself around? It just feels like she's trying to carry some burden on her shoulders when we should be enjoying our peace."
Yang soon talks to everyone present getting their attention all looking at her, "Guys. Trust me; Blake will be at the dance –"
"Hey, guys…"
Before Yang could finish soon Blake enters the room showing a tired look still on her face with her team, Neptune, and Sun around talking to them, "Hope you guys don't mind a helping hand for the dance, right?"
Seeing this the members of Team RWBY sigh in relief seeing Blake is at least going to the dance but that was when Yang decided to take Blake back to their dorm seeing how tired she was, "Hold up. Blake while I'm very happy you decided to come to the dance you need some serious rest. Then will discuss dresses."
Yang smiles as she hangs her arm over Blake having a hard time staying awake but falling asleep Ruby wondered to herself, "This is great! Blake is finally becoming less Blakey! But… I wonder what changed her mind though?"
Ruby tilts her head wondering about the cause along with Weiss in the process but decides to continue working on the dance…

Meanwhile, with Yang carrying Blake back to their dorms she was curious as to why Blake changed her mind talking to herself, "I wonder what got you to change moods, Blake? You were all uppity about saving people and now you seem more… tolerable."
While Yang was carrying Blake, she soon come into contact with Jack that was about to enter his dorm with their eyes met with him greeting Yang, "Yo Yang! I see that Blake decided to take a little catnap eh?"
Yang stifles a small laugh at the pun replying to Jack's attempt to ask how he has been doing, "Ha! Good one. So how has, everything been for you? Hopefully something relaxing."
Jack scratches the back of his head at this while he began to reply to Yang, "Haha… Relaxing wouldn't be the words I would choose. But at least everything has been getting normal again. Although I'm kind of… nervous about asking Ruby out…"
Yang could only smile and smirk at this teasing Jack out his actions with a teasing tone, "Oh? So, the big Hero of Remnant is unfazed by an alien god attacking Remnant but is scared to ask my lil sis out? Hmm…~"
Jack coughs out at that as his cheeks turned red in embarrassment at Yang's words replying to her, "Cough! Uh… yeah… Guess my priorities and fears can be quite contradictory."
Yang snickers seeing Jack's reaction before moving ahead towards him going to her dorm before she finally speaks again, "Still though while I'm her bigger sister you dare break my Lil sis heart I get to hurt you? You know the big sis wrath kind of deal."
Jack sighs at this looking at his Scroll getting a signal from 2B message making his eyes widen and reading the content before finally ending the conversation with Yang, "In that case, I should probably just do it then. I'll go ahead and ask Ruby if we can have that date tomorrow because I think I might just have a gift she will have to love."
Smirking at this Jack began to hurry along leaving Yang confused by the sudden development before shrugging at this talking to herself, "Huh? Guess my words are pretty effective if he finally makes the first move. Wonder how Weiss is going to react. Still, have to wonder what he got from the Scroll that made him move like that. Oh well."
Like that Yang began to move forward returning Blake to their dorm room…

Elsewhere inside Jack's island, a lady figure was observing Summer Rose conditions while 2B was busy training or developing more useful inventions for Jack.
The lady viewing Summer Rose looks similar to 2B as a base but is wearing shorts, and a tank top on her showing her robotic android parts with long white hair with bright blue eyes having her own Pod along with her Claymore on hand.
This is A2 another creation of Jack's YoRHa unit unlike 2B self-destruct function A2 has the Berserker Mode instead of the self-destruct feature.
Rather than self-destructing, A2 has the ability to enter a Berserk Mode, increasing damage both dealt and received and rapidly depleting her health, whereupon Berserk Mode will end.
"Ugh…"
A2 eyes widen seeing that Summer began to groan while checking her vitals with a smile on her face using her Pod to call 2B about the news, "2B we may have the subject starting to show signs of waking up. Notify the master."
Summer Rose was groaning as a sign that she was starting to recover and fully in the future soon to wake up with a sign of 'LUCK' of her being a miracle…

"Hello? Pyrrha dear you have called?"
Calling from somewhere outside the entrance of Beacon sitting down on one of the benches with the statues with no one around Pyrrha began to ask her mother for advice, "Hello mother I just want to have some questions…"
On the other end of the Scroll, Pyrrha's mother raised an eyebrow seeing that her daughter is acting bashful but a bemused smile on her face said otherwise, "Oh….? Ara, ara, my daughter? What would you like to talk about my dear?"
Hearing the curious tone in her mother's voice she began to talk to her mother with her cheeks flushing red as she began to voice out for advice, "I… I was wondering how exactly you ask a boy out… a boy that I may have developed a crush on-n… my-y team-m leader-r…."
Shuddering in her voice Pyrrha's mother only grinned happily at this as her smile widens a bit hearing the news replying to her daughter, "I knew it! I knew you will fall for a boy and your team leader at that! The talk of the circles between the some arranged marriages with some daughters of the Hereditary or Business families want him dear so you might have some tough competition."
*CREAK*
As if an imaginary crack of glass appeared in her head Pyrrha's voice cracked hearing the news about this responding to her mother with genuine shock in her voice, "I'm sorry mother but… what's this about my team leader being a topic about arranged marriages?!!"
Hearing a sigh at the other end of the phone from her mother she began to explain to Pyrrha what's been happening to the upper-class society members after the Starro event and witnessing the video spread.
While the rest and her team are thought to be great Huntsman and Huntresses in the future, they were more invested in Jack for his technology with some circles of the research and technology development of Atlas, Mistral, and Vale wanting to hear about trying to form ties with him.
Mantle and Vacuo were to hear last in the last few days nearing recovery leaving Pyrrha a bit frustrated in her gut hearing the news with Jack not mentioning it once to his team.
In some ways it made Pyrrha feel a bit sad that he hasn't told his team about it...
But that was when she got a response from her mother about how to get Jack to join for a dance making Pyrrha's eyes shine a bit at the idea, "Well dear… if you want to have such a catch you need to simply do it. You are a very determined girl but lack in social talking so… if you really want to secure his heart… you need to challenge him straight up."
Pyrrha froze what her mother meant before she explained what she meant with an evil smile on her face speaking to her, "Ah… it was just like that time I met your father. Daring and dashing. Brave and the bold. But I wasn't that bold, so the best way is to challenge him! Yes, dear, I beat your father in a competition for a date, and after that… hee-hee… well you get the point, right? You must be confident in your fighting skills right Pyrrha? Why not recommend a win or lose in a sparring match?"
Pyrrha was shivering at such a diabolical but simple request mentioned by her mother as she listens in more closely, "Simply ask your leader a win or lose condition is all. Try it when you're sparing like say being bold 'Jack if I win, I want to request something from you.' And even if you lose your leader must be curious as to why and that's when you pounce! This plan is foolproof my dear daughter!"
Pyrrha for her part could only gulp at the idea but was not exactly against it either…
