~Third POV~
With the appearance of Team JNPR soon coming along Ruby flings her arms wide in delight seeing them come, "Jack! It's great to see you guys."
Yang smirks happily at this trying not to look bad for him paying for the food, "Aw, you don't have to…"
Blake however thought otherwise wanting the food as her hunger wins, "But he could!!!"
Jack smirks at this lightly taking out his Lien card replying and willing to pay for all of the meals they ordered, "Well, I think you all earned it after that battle. Plus, I wouldn't really be a good boyfriend if I let you guys go hungry right? Or I could cook – "
"YES!!"
Before Jack could finish Team RWBY all stopped and blushed at that with Ruby surprisingly being the voice of reason as she responded, "No offense Jack but your food is REALLY addicting. And I really would like to have one now but… how about we save that for later since you offered it to everyone during training…"
Ruby blushed harder recalling the time Jack brought everyone to train the Six Powers and offered his food for everyone making them all cum when they ate the food out of control even making Ren question his sexuality after eating it just once.
The rest of Team JNPR Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora all blushed at that recalling the event with Ren placing his hand over his leader's shoulder, "Leader… please don't. I really don't want to question my sexuality when I devoured that piece of heaven."
Nora quickly got in between the two making her stand with the blush evident on her face defending her mate, "Yeah! Leader you already have Pyrrha, Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Blake, and Penny! You can't have my Renny!"
Penny seeing the expression tilted her head innocently as she replied to everyone's reaction, "Everyone? Is Jack's cooking really that good?"
Next Penny felt Ruby patting her shoulder shaking her head as if she fought a war warning her friend, "Oh my innocent Penny… please stay pure while you can."
Penny was getting more confused of everyone's reaction to Ruby's own words with the rest who tasted Jack's cooking nodding in understanding.
Jack absentminded scratched his face with an awkward expression admitting letting the topic go of cooking, "Alright! Alright. I get it. But how about I cook a feast when the Vytal Festival is over with me winning the whole thing is that fine?"
At this everyone began to huddle around out of the stands before gazing at Jack again then talked again with Penny getting confused by this before Yang spoke out agreeing, "Fine… only after the Vytal Festival ends."
Nodding his head in agreement and returning to the friendly atmosphere Pyrrha asked Team RWBY to join, "Mind if we join you?"
Team RWBY nodded with Jack paying for everything and soon began to chow down on their bowls of noodles at the ready.

Later on, the bowls are empty, and each student is either content with their meal or holding their stomach sickly.
Ren talks to Pyrrha questioning whether eating before a match was wise, "Are you sure it's wise to have eaten before a fight?"
Pyrrha smiles at this as she replies to Ren as the Shopkeep quickly gathers the bowls and vanishes, "Of course! It will give us energy! Although our leader seems to have eaten more than we all could eat."
All eyes gaze in Jack's direction seeing some empty bowls of noodles stacking up with him finishing up his last bowl, "Gulp! Ah… these are really good noodles. Have to ask the old man for the recipe… why are you guys looking at me weirdly?"
Everyone soon averts their gaze at Jack while Nora simply gives a hearty belch of the food she ate happily, "Ah… these were really good noodles. I feel energized for the match at hand! Beware mortals for the Queen of the Castle is going to rock their world!"
Jack laughs lightly at this with Pyrrha standing up from her stool getting ready to leave, "Well, we should be off."
Ruby asks the obvious question out of curiosity's sake if they are prepared, "So, you think you guys are ready?"
Nora smiles while she began gestures of her teammates of winning the Vytal Festival excitedly of what's to come, "Of course! We've got a world-renowned fighter on our team, one's basically ninja, I can bench five of me, we have our wild card of Semblances, we trained all year, our weapons are awesome, Glynda barely yells at us anymore, and we have our Harem Protagonist trump card for the finals!"
Ren raises an eyebrow at that with Jack's own fact twitching as Ren spoke to Jack, "Are you gonna take that?"
Jack soon began to open his mouth but soon freezes finding no words to confront Nora's claims while sighing admitting defeat, "Sigh… She's not wrong."
Nora begins talking quickly, the color slowly draining away as she gets more worried her mad laughter turns into sobs as she slams her head on the counter, "I'm kidding, he knows I'm kidding. Don't be so nervous! The worst that can happen is we lose, that is just a few more years of walking around school with everyone knowing we're failures, our friends will slowly abandon us to preserve their social status, we won't be able to show our faces in class, no one will sit with us in the cafeteria, Ren and I have no parents, we have no home left to go to, we'll be officially renamed Team Lose-iper!"
*Bam*
Jack blinks slowly at this before finding the words to speak out at Nora's antics this time, "Right… Nora certainly has an… active imagination?"
Ren nods at this while he spoke out unperturbed to Team RWBY, "So, yeah, we're feeling pretty good."
Pyrrha tries to be positive for her fellow teammate as she spoke breathing out in relief at the fights ahead, "Sigh… Don't fret. If anything, we should be looking forward to a fight with actual guidelines, and not, well, ...murderers this time."
Yang nods in an understanding of this recalling all the enemies they faced this year, "Yeah, don't sweat it, we've all faced way worse before."
Blake began to count off the threats on her fingers of all the things they faced together, "Let's see… Nightmare Weiss Dreamworld, Grimm invasions, violent extremists, kidnapers, an Alien God and brainwashed servants, a destructive sociopath..."
Jack also voices in another enemy he faced making Blake count it as well, "Don't forget crazy cultist and wannabe conquerors in the lists. Oh, and brainwashers as well."
Blake nods adding them in with Ruby excited to point out the fact of how young they faced it all through it all, "And that's all while we're still in training! Oh, imagine what it would be like to graduate!"
Weiss sarcastically began mumbling to herself about how she couldn't pay for her own meal, "Maybe then I'll be able to pay for a meal."
*CRACK*
At that moment a crackling sound in over the intercom system with Port's voice being heard out getting everyone's attention, "Would Team JNPR please report to the battlegrounds immediately!"
Oobleck's voice was heard next adding to Port's order through the intercom system, "Yes! Like they were scheduled to, several minutes ago!"
Hearing the voice with Team JNPR standing up and getting ready Pyrrha said her goodbye to the battlefield arena, "Well, it looks like this is it. I hope you guys wish us luck."
Ruby began to voice out to Team JNPR as they walk away, Nora still depressed and Jack looking excited, "Go get 'em! Guys!"
With that Team JNPR began to go ahead to the arena of preparing for their opponents against Team SSSN with him thinking to himself, 'I wonder how much Team SSSN have done training against us. It's bad luck they have to fight against us in the early rounds. Although this is a surprise.'
While walking inside the backrooms of the training room with Team JNPR preparing to get their weapons while Jack began to think more with Cinder and her crew out of the way and someone taking her spot leaves a butterfly effect of team SSSN taking the chance to fight Team JNPR.
Thinking of such a conclusion Jack decided to let it go while he began to focus his attention on the fight ahead with a smirk on his face.

Team RWBY enter the Coliseum through one of its tunnels and heads to their seats.
While everyone sat down in their seats Penny took hers along with her own temporary Teammate Penny questioned her friend out loud, "Hello Ciel are you strategizing over the teams of SSSN and JNPR?"
Ciel soon smiles lightly at Penny agreeing with the other two teammates focusing on the fight at hand, "Yeah I want to see who was fighting next. Although I know who would win this match it is interesting what Team JNPR does next. Just want to see if we have anything to go against the heroes of Remnant after all."
Penny thinks for a bit but nods in understanding while they have their attention down on the field below, the scorched ground and cold plains are no more, and only a layer of white mechanics is left, with a central stage on which the two teams gather.
The Vytal Festival is just beginning to start.
