Chapter 15: Kay's conspiracy
Mr and Mrs Micawber came back to their home.They both were tense Mr Micawber had an urgent meeting with someone so after dropping her home he left.
She was at home all alone and was thinking about the incident which just happened a few hours ago.Past was roaming in her eyes.
She got a swear headache because of tension.She was so disturbed and her feelings were totally uncommitted.She laid down on the bed.
Kay her only daughter the way she treated them(Mr and Mrs Micawber) in the past she was thinking about it.
"I've never expected such kinda surprise for myself",she said."She is my daughter,my own blood but why she's worse then an enemy".
As she was a mother so she also had a soft corner in her heart for Kay.On the other hand she was thinking that what if she really missed us and now she became a good person.
If is it so then we have to forgive her.After all she's our only daughter,I'll ask him (Mr Micawber) and will try to make him understand.
She was completely lost in deep thoughts and fell asleep.In evening Mr Micawber came back home and knocked the door but as she was sleeping nobody responded.
He opened the door by the spare key and went to to the room he saw her sleeping he moved towards her and sat down on the bed near her.
She woke up but her eyes were still closed she was pretending that she's still sleeping may be because she didn't want to make him sad at the moment.
He held her hand and kissed it.He knew that how disturbed she is because he was also stressed.The sudden meet up with Kay was not a tragedy.
He looked up and whispered (ohh god please have some mercy on us please).She remained her eyes still close Mr Micawber kissed her forehead stood up and went to the washroom.
When came out he saw that she wasn't on the bed.All of a sudden he heard a voice of dishes so he thought that may be she have gone to bring some food for him.
After a few minutes she came there was a dish in her hand.She putted that on the bed and said,Why you didn't wake me up?
"I thought you'll must be tired so that's why",he said in a sweet tone.
They both sat on the bed Mr Micawber started eating his meal,she was looking at him,all of a sudden he looked at her then smiled and asked,"Ohh...sorry I forgot to ask you,come join me".
"No,no please continue",she replied.
She was trying to start the conversation about Kay but she was confused that how to start it.
She started bitting her nail's when he saw her doing this so he asked her,"you wanna say something,if there is something so
ask me".
"Actually.....Actually.....huhhhh,I was thinking about today's meeting with Kay",she said.I wanted to talk to you about her but please don't mind.
"I don't wanna talk about her I'm sorry",he replied harshly.
Mrs Micawber : I know that you're really disturbed right now but we have to talk.It'll make you fell better.
Mr Micawber : I'm okay.
Mrs Micawber : No you're not.I know you very well,you're lying?
Mr Micawber : Then what should I do?
Mrs Micawber : Listen Mike (Mr Micawber's nickname which was given to him by his Mrs)
She's our only daughter,she said that she's feeling sorry so don't you think we have to give her a chance.
Mr Micawber : No I don't think so and you know what why I'm saying this because she's our daughter I know her well.
Mrs Micawber : How would you be so heartless Mike?
Mr Micawber : Am I? really? You want me to give a chance to a girl who declared her own parent's selfish.
"You want me to except her again,listen to me very carefully you can forgive her but I can't".
Mrs Micawber : (She had tears in her eyes she looked at him,held his hand and said)
I'm sorry,I'm really sorry.
*His phone rang*
He picked up the phone there was Stephon on the call."Hello Dad,I want to tell you that I'm also coming so don't come cancel your plans of coming back.We'll spend some time there because Kevin is also free now a day's",Stephon said.
"Ah...okay okay well not a bad idea,
but son don't you think it is not the right time for a vaccy",Mr Micawber said.
"Dad is everything alright?I mean is there is something you wanna tell me...",Stephon said.
"No..no everything is okay,take care of yourself son,we'll wait for you and Kevin",Mr Micawber said.
*Phone call disconnected*
"Stephon is planning to come here with Kevin to spend his vacation here,he just said this to me,what if he saw Kay again",Mr Micawber said.
They both were now silent.Because they knew that whatever Kay had done in the past,Stephon will again get hurt and Kevin,the poor child who had never seen his selfish mother yet.
Mrs Micawber advised him to meet Kay if she tried to contact them.It would be a better option.Mr Micawber didn't said anything just laid down on the bed and closed his eye's.
Mrs Micawber held the food tray and. left the room.On the other hand there was Kay who was planning conspiracies that how to meet her parents again.Kay started searching about them.
She came to know that they both have some property work here so that's why they're here.She thought that there is no time to waste in useless things.
She tried to contact them but the old contact numbers of them were closed.In Stevenson Mansion there was Miss Dora and Lara whom were continuously thinking about Kay and "David's Second Marriage".
