Chapter 21: Uninvited guest
Kay was in hurry because she wanted to get rid of her parents as soon as it was possible.Miss Dora was also in a hurry because she was in stress.
David's behavior was very rude these days.He was use to of going late from his office.After coning back he just went to his room with harry.
Harry the little child who loves his Dad very much and also he was very attached with his grandma and Lara.
Harry was now about to turn 3 very soon.As his birthday was coming David again started feeling stress because of the incident which happened 2 years ago.
It was Sunday morning 10 o'clock in Stevenson mansion all of them were on the breakfast table and were done with it.
*Door bell rang*
Lara went to check out that who's on the door.As she opened the door she was surprised because Micawber's were there.
Mr Micawber had a flower bouquet in his hand and Mrs Micawber had a decorated sweets basket.Kay was holding her leather bag.
Lara : Oh what a pleasant surprise...
Kay : Miss lara...What if we talk after coming inside (she said in an arrogant tone)
Mrs Micawber pinched her because the way she said it sounds rude.Lara smiled and felt a little shame because it was disrespect of her.
Lara : I'm sorry....please come inside.
Mrs Micawber : No,no dear it's completely fine she was kidding please don't mind.
Lara : yeah,come with me.
They all followed her and went to the drawing room.Lara informed Miss Dora that Micawber's are here.Miss Dora left the table and joined them in the drawing room.
David rolled his eyes and asked harry that he wants to go outside with his dad or no he innocently replied that he wanna go and play with him.
David was unhappy because he hates uninvited guest specially when they cause irritation.
Just to ignore the meeting with Micawber's David took harry in his arm and left the dinning room as he was going out Kay called him from back.
Kay : Hey David.
(he turned back)
David : hey.
Kay : So why you didn't come to meet us?
David : nobody in formed me that you are here.
Kay : oh really?
David : yeah.By the way is everything is alright?A sudden meet up?
(Kay moved towards him and stood near him)
Kay : Ahhh....actually I was missing my fiance (she said in a flirty way) that's why I came and mom dad also wanted to talk to aunt Dora so they came along with me.
David : Oh alright.
Kay : where are you going?
David : Me and harry are just going to play in the garden.
Kay : Ohh nice.Shall I come with you?
David : you wanna come?
Kay : yeah is there any problem!
David : no..no problem.
Kay : okay let's go.
David rolled his eyes and thought ( I wanted to get rid of her but ohh my destiny)
David opened the door as he took a step outside it started raining he stepped back and he felt very happy inside but gave a constant expression.
Kay : Oh no it started raining...
David : hmm.
Kay : My bad.
David : (in his mind) my pleasure.
David went to his room with harry without saying anything.Kay felt ignored and went back to the drawing room.
Mr Micawber was confused that how to start the conversation about wedding plan there was a silence there.Miss Dora broke silence and said,"I was actually thinking about the wedding".
Mr Micawber : oh really I was also about yo talk to you but was a little confused that how to start the conversation.
Miss Dora : hahaha...there is nothing like that now we are a family you can ask anything and can say anything don't be formal.
Mr Micawber : Do you have any plans?
Miss Dora : I... actually I don't have but well decided together.
Mrs Micawber : this is a very good option.
Miss Dora : I think there should be a 3 months gap between engagement and wedding as 1st month is about to end so after two months it will be a good.Its just my point of view share your thoughts with me if there will be a better option we'll change it.
Kay : what the hell why three months gap is necessary....ahh my parents are not less...
Hope so my this oldie(Mr Micawber) wouldn't agree with her.(she thought)
Mr Micawber : No....no we don't have any problem I also think that a gap is necessary after all we have to do arrangements and many more stuff.
Mrs Micawber : Yeah you're right but.....
Kay : but.....
Mrs Micawber : let's decide the date first.
Kay : (bull shit)
Miss Dora : Any date after two months.
Mr Micawber : what about 17th of the month.
Kay : (All of these oldies are fools) she rolled her eyes
Miss Dora : Very nice very good idea.Lara bring some sweets after all we have decided the wedding date.
Lara : yes ma'am.
(Lara brought a tray in which there were sweets)
Miss Dora : Have some sweets.... (smiled)
Mr Micawber : So Give us permission we have to go.
Miss Dora : oh come on let's have lunch together.
Mrs Micawber : no...no it's alright.
They all stood up Miss Dora and Lara said bye to them and they left.David was still in his room with harry.
