[I wonder why she was looking at me like that in the washrooms she sounded so weird]
"so miss Godwins do you mind explaining what i have just said "Mr Harriton told Marika to explain what he was teaching coz she looked to be in her own world making everyone in the class look in her direction .
"huh " was all the girl said .
"I have said explain to the class what i have just said "he repeated himself in an angry tone .
"sorry sir i haven't understood what you have been teaching lately"Marika mumbled in a low guilty voice looking down on the floor. After looking at her for some brief seconds he said "next time keep attentive "then continued with his history lesson.
She let out a loud sigh [he got me right there] then made sure to follow and understand whatever the teacher was teaching .The lesson ended after an hour then all students headed out of the class since the bell had rung and it was lunchtime .
[am starving guess I should go get some thing good]Marika thought raising from her seat meeting up with Amber who was waiting for her patiently with a wide smile which Marika returned back .
"what's up girl "Marika asked while moving towards the cafeteria .
"nothing am just soo hungry you may think I haven't had anything since morning "her eyes rumoring allover Marika
"so am I,what why you looking at me like that it's weird girl "
"you just look so different am just not tiring at looking at you all day you know am not used to this new Marika with black hair and that type of makeup and fashion "she replied indicating on everything new thing that Marika had .
Marika's mouth made an O then said "well you gat to get used to this new look it's not gonna change after all"shrugging a bit .
" I will try to "taking a seat at their usual spot and Marika sat opposite her .
"what are we eating today anything in mind "Amber asked looking at the line that had students making their orders .
" am going eat a sandwich and some juice "resting her chin on her hands she had placed on the table .
"I will take frence fries and a coke maybe "raising up from her seat heading to the line followed by Marika who kept her chin high since most of the students were staring at her which was making her uncomfortable she didn't want to keep her head low anymore after making their orders they wanted for a few minutes for their foods to be given to them then headed back to their seats .
After a few minutes [why does it feel like somebody is looking at me ]
Marika looked around to see who was looking at her when her eyes landed on Alexa who glaring daggers at her from their table gat away from where Marika and Amber were seated Kyra was seated with her back facing Marika [what the fuck is wrong with her why she looking at me like that she zoo creepy]Marika mouthed a what glaring at Alexa too making her frown a little then go back to whatever she was doing .

"so Marika you recall this guy I told you about "Amber asked dipping on her coke bringing Marika to reality .
"Ezra is it"she answered with a sly smile .
"yeah him he asked me to attend Jeromi's party this Friday "Amber said coolly
"oh that's great girl so his kinda into you hah "
"nah I don't think his too good for me how can he leave all those pretty girls for me I think he just wants us to be friends "
"whatever but his a nice guy "taking a note on her sandwich .
"yeah I know ,so will you be available this Friday "
"like it's a house party with all these students "Marika asked raising a brow .
"yeah everyone is invited so are you in or ..."
"am in"
"thanks"Amber said out aloud lunging in for a tight hug almost crashing their lunch on the table making a few students look in their direction .
"hey calm down you are attracting attention "Marika whispered returning back the embrace .
"oh sorry am just soo excited I thought you might decline my request "Amber said pulling back taking her seat again with a huge grin .
"whatever "Marika replied sipping her juice. [ wow what a tall guy ]she thought then saw him heading towards their table he had brown unruly hair combed backwards hazel eyes straight nose nice lips guess about 6.2ft tall he had a sly smile that kept on playing in his lips until he reached next to their table "he ladies "he said in his deep raspy voice winking at Amber with a smile exposing his nice set of teeth .

Amber looked up and shot him a breath taking smile too then said "hey Ezra had lunch "blushing a little.
"I did bunny " that was its Amber's cheeks turned from pink to red blushing the more [aww so cute ]"hey there am Ezra"he added gesturing at Marika .
"hello am Marika "with a polite smile .
"okay... so are you coming to the party this Friday at Jeromi's "Ezra asked in his raspy voice .
[am gonna pass out that voice gashhh]Amber thought
"yeah I will come with her"Amber spoke looking at Marika trying to push a way the excitement she was feeling inside . [ I just can't wait ]
"ok see you then"Ezra said winking at her for the thousandth time then taking his leave to join the boys .
"well his cool "Marika said taking the last bite of her sandwich looking at the drooling Amber who was staring at Ezra's retreating body .
"Amber ,Amber "she called knocking on the table .
"huh ,yes you were saying "Amber asked with widened eyes.
"nothing am done here"Marika said raising from her seat and Amber did the same then both headed for their last lessons of the day .
Hours later
"girl that lesson was hella boring "Amber said heading to the locker room followed by Marika who was busy looking at something on her phone.
"as always mathematics has never been fun for me "Marika replied putting her books in her locker .
"yeah you know that man's voice is like a lullaby in my ears I ended up sleeping for the whole lesson "
"haha I wonder why they switched places with the geography teacher "
"mathematics is good is the morning not after lunch for crying out loud "Amber stated .
Both headed to the parking yard since it was time for going home bid themselves goodbyes then Amber's driver off while Marika entered her car too and left.
