In an underground cave somewhere, a white coloured creature appeared out of the ground.
"Lord Madara, should I tell Obito now?" Zetsu asked
"No. Not yet. Wait until the situation is dire. In the meantime make sure that that no one hinders with our plan." Madara replied
"U-Um well there is something weird happening outside." Zetsu said
"Hm?"
"The Leaf shinobi have suddenly started attacking Kiri!" Zetsu said
"What?"
Although there is no guarantee that it will prove to be a hinderance to their plan. However, Leaf shinobis suddenly attacking Kirigakure was not in Madara's expectations as such he took this very seriously.
He has come too far and has sacrificed too much to let anyone or anything get in the way of his plans and goals.
"Just make sure that no one gets close to Kakashi and Rin and prevents their death. If someone does come to save him or tries to make his way towards them make sure to fight them with everything we have got and even then if by some miracle they are able to go past you, then I will deal with that person myself!" Madara said
"Very well. Lord Madara"
"...Make sure to tell me who that person is as well."
"Of course"

Meanwhile in the forest of Kirigakure.
Kakashi was running away from his pursuers while dodging their attacks as well as protecting and carrying the unconscious Rin with him.
He was able to rescue her from their base but wasn't able to do that subtly enough.
"Ugghh"
Rin slowly opened her eyes, "What? Where am I?"
"Rin you are awake!" Kakashi exclaimed
"Kakashi?"
She looked around at her surroundings completely confused but regained her composure as soon as she saw that they were being pursued by Kirigakure's anbu.
Immediately coming to the conclusion that something bad had happened while she was unconscious and Kakashi had saved her. She told kakashi that she can run on her own now.
Both started to run as fast as they could while dodging their pursuers attacks.

I was quickly making my way through the forest when suddenly a white-plant thingy appeared out of the ground in front of me.
"Fuck!" I cursed as I dodged it's attack.
"You are strong! Even if there were more of me here, we wouldn't stand a chance." he said
'Fucking Zetsu' I cursed internally
"What are you?" I asked
"Hmm? Care to take a guess?"
"Forget it. I don't have time for you. You are weak anyways, you can't defeat me."
"No. But they can" he replied with a smug smile on his face
Immediately afterwards a dozen or so Kiri anbus appeared in front of me.
"Goodluck getting through them. You are gonna need it." Zetsu replied and submerged under the ground.
"Ah Shit!"
'Should have figured they would do that. I mean Kiri is basically under Madara's control right now anyways.'
I gripped my sword tightly and rushed at them without fearing for my own safety.

About 15 minutes later, back at the cave.
Zetsu again emerged from the ground right next to Madara's throne.
"Lord Madara there is trouble!" Zetsu exclaimed.
"Hm? What is it?" Madara enquired
"U-Um that boy has made it past those Kiri anbus we had deployed!"
"What?! And wait a minute, did you just said 'boy'? You are telling me that you lot can't even take care of a measly child?" Madara asked and scolded zetsu.
"Yes he covers his face with a mask and wears a completely black colour armour but he is without a doubt a child."
"Unfortunately I can't go there myself since I will lose my life as soon as I stop consuming life force from this statue without Tobi and Tobi just took Obito to see Rin die with your other clone." Madara said with a somber expression
"Then what should we do?" Zetsu asked clearly skeptical about what to do
"For now send even more shinobis after him as well as Kakashi and Rin." Madara replied
"As you wish Lord Madara" Zetsu replied and again sunk under the ground
"Just who can it be?" Madara muttered to himself

*Ugh*
I staggered on my feet as I tried to move further.
I may have won against them but I consumed way too much chakra in doing so.
These guys weren't a joke. Each of them had to have been a Tokubbetsu jonin or above.
'Let's rest for a sec and continue again'
After 5 minutes, I again began running towards the deep forest. Until I started hearing sound of metal clashing with each other from my immediate right and instantly changed my coarse.
'Finally found you!' I exclaimed internally as I saw Kakashi and Rin clearly still running from the Kiri ninjas by hopping from tree to tree.
I immediately ran to towards them and saw one of the Kiri ninjas about to slash Kakashi at his back.
"KAKASHI NOO!!!" Rin yelled

I put all strength in my legs and leaped into the air and intercepted the attack.

Everyone was left shocked at my sudden arrival but I decided to ignore their reactions and coursed lightning through my sword and cut through the ninja's sword, ultimately slashing him in half.
"RUN!!" I yelled back to Kakashi and Rin as I decided to buy time for them to escape.
Both of them had a lot of questions on their mind as to who the person saved them was but realising that this was not the time nor place to ask questions, both of them followed their saviour's words and ran.
bringing my attention back to the Kiri ninjas, I realised they were going to make a few shinobis stay behind to deal with me while the others circumvent me and resume their pursuit.
Like I would let them do that. At the wave of my hand, numerous blades manifested in the air and skewered everyone who had their backs to me after thinking that they had gone past me.
Only one or two managed to escape but Kakashi can handle that much. Besides, Obito should be on his way to them so as long as I stall for enough time and escape to them, Obito will meet us there and nothing bad would happen.
