A massive blast of black and red sparks filled the room before a black shield formed, stopping Vincent's advance; staggering back as he spun the spear and took several steps to regain his balance.

"Hah... fuck these guys."

His face looked displeased with this ending; the spear in his hand trembled to cause his hand to feel numb. He just hoped that Raizel didn't get hurt because she wouldn't respond no matter how much he called after colliding with this stupid book.
