Chapter 57: Don't let me find the person who created couches!
The Mutants watched the show from the school as Viktor screamed in pain.
Charles subconsciously stood at the window with his hands behind his back, sighing "Ah… The married life… Joys and sorrows intertwined. Enviable and yet not…"
Cordelia pointed at him and said flatly "Why are you trying to be deep, guy? I bet you've never had a girlfriend in your life!" Charles coughed and said "What do you know?"
Hank ran up the stairs and shouted "What happe- PROFESSOR! YOU! YOU! YOU! YOU CAN WALK!" Charles was startled and moved his legs, saying excitedly "It's true! Hahahah!"
After Emma was done, Viktor stood up with bumps and bruises all over, saying "It didn't hurt at all!" Emma glared at him and he smiled, saying "I'm in extreme pain everywhere on my body." she nodded and Viktor added "But every punch was full of fiery love!"
Emma glanced at him and said "You're still sleeping on the couch." Viktor's eyes widened and he ran over to Emma rubbing her shoulders as he laughed "Little bear! Hahaha! What are you saying? You can beat me again if you want, I scream as much as you want!"
She snorted and said "A little lower." Viktor laughed and listened immediately, saying "Is this good, wife? Love of my life? Sunshine?" Emma turned her nose up, saying "Just barely."
Viktor nearly collapsed.
Anything to avoid the couch…

Charles invited them to dinner and even offered Cordelia to stay as the School's main Doctor.
Viktor looked at him vigilantly and Cordelia refused directly.
No TV? No Pizza? Why the fuck am I here?
The trio stayed for dinner and Viktor talked about the compensation from the X-Men comics but Charles told him to forget it. If he could make more that would be suitable compensation.
Viktor agreed no problem.

After teasing a few kids about putting them in the comics, Viktor left, telling Charles that not all of the names in the comics are fictional. They're based on real life at any rate. Charles was mystified and Viktor said "Maybe look for those names?"
Then they went home.
Cordelia plopped on the couch with great joy, turning on the TV to Superhero Housewives…
Viktor expended an IMMENSE effort and finally was spared from the couch. He was so happy he 'bed' her on the spot.
And all this was only 6 months in!
The last month passed by without anything amazing happening.
The only thing was Viktor used the Lottery Draw.

Her Diamond X-Gene was increased by 2 times according to her and if she uses Haki and the heat power, she can even injure Viktor using Haki.
Which was very surprising because Viktor's haki was more than 2 times stronger than Emma's!
Every Fruit he gets upgrades his physique which in turn makes his Haki stronger. Most of Emma's power comes from her Psionic abilities and not her Diamond form, but it was quickly catching up to her Psionics!
Viktor was slightly distressed.
His wife was very, very, very strong and he didn't want to fall behind!
He was both happy and anxious.
To be perfectly honest with you, he dumped whatever he didn't want onto Emma and even shared what he got with her. Viktor's thought process was due to the fact that if she got kidnapped by terrorists, they would die before he even had to go save her.
It alleviated his worry for her safety and gave him peace of mind.
If he was like every other superhero and worrying about their girlfriends every second he would go crazy!
Look, Spider-Garfield's girlfriend got killed!
Tony's girlfriend got kidnapped and experimented on.
Banner had to leave his girlfriend for her safety…
Even Batman's girlfriend was blown to kingdom come!
To prevent these things from happening to him, he was more than willing to give her the abilities…
Plus, he never wanted power in the first place, it was all because of her so if she was super omega ultra strong, then what does he have to do?

She just wanted to laze around and eat pizza!
