Chapter 237: Cannot Go Any Further

Mason joined her at the bay window with a frown on his forehead. He doesn't remember buying or bringing a book for her to read so he wondered where she got that. Did she have a visitor that he doesn't know? Not that he was forbidding her to have a visitor. If she wants to invite her friends, she could even though Dionne had told him that she doesn't have any friends to invite. 

"Ah...where did you get that?" Mason asked, looking at the book in Dionne's hands that was on her lap. He cannot help but notice the smooth and tanned skin of her thigh. She was wearing denim shorts that rode up even higher when she sat cross-legged in the bay window.
