Chapter 2: "Hello Future"
No one heard anything from Layla untill next morning. phone was continuously ringing on the side table of bed. "hello?" Layla answered her phone in a sleepy voice. No one answered on the other side. "hellooo...you called so please speak." said Layla harshly but still no one answered. she hung up. She got up and picked her dress for the day and went for the bath. "where is my curling iron?" shouted Layla from the bathroom. after a while she went out of her room and asked the maid about her father. "He is the study. He was waiting for you yesterday too." maid told Layla. "you speak too much." said Layla harshly. She moved towards her father study.
"Dad!" called Layla entering the study. "Oh darling! Where were you? I wanted to wish you yesterday." said her Dad. "Dad it's okay! it wasn't really a good day for me so i just wanted to be alone. Umm but we can spend time together today." said Layla smiling cutely. "Honey i really wanted that but i have meeting with Adrian's family today." answered her dad. "ohhh those people are sick except Fiora. I can't believe she is one of them. she is so different and humble unlike her brother and father." said Layla having those disgusting expressions on her face. "hahaha! You are still a child. Fiora is amazing. if i had a son, i would have married him with her.....but you really shouldn't badmouth them. Even walls can hear us so be careful. In this line of work we really should avoid making enemies. The more we make friends, the more benefit it will be for us." dad explained to Layla. "Dad you know i am not really interested in your mafia issues. I really want to go shopping. My summer vacation is getting over soon. I have only two more days and nothing to wear." said Layla and waved to her dad and rushed outside.
Layla spent her full day in the mall. She bought all the dresses in the world. She took fifty pair of shoes and matching accessories. She also bought makeup and she was the most happiest person present on this planet. Her last two days of summer vacation went so fast like speed of light. She gathered all the dresses from every designer and prepared herself to went back to university which she hated the most.
The day of "back to school" was marked on the calendar. and yes it was finally that day. "I hate to wake up early. why is this happening to me? i really want my last year of university to finish soon. i can't wait till the end of this year when i will be finally free from this hell." said Layla with the exhausted face.
"It's her university day and you all you know that she will be so angry so you all have to behave well and try to avoid any difficult situation." explained the head servant to all the servants of mansion. Layla came in the living room and shouted "Where the hell is my strawberry shake?".......
All the servants rushed outside after hearing her shout. They were terrified and shaking. "get me my shake and tell dad that i am leaving for university." said Layla, took her bottle and left in a big black limo.
A big building of campus was spreaded over several miles. It was one of the best institutes out there. As her car entered the building, all we can hear was whisperings "Oh its Layla simon" , "heyy see Layla Simon's coming" , "OMG look at her car" , "is it really Layla?" , "I heard about her. she is a bully" , "She is a total pshyco and so scary!!!!"...
Layla stepped outside of the car wearing sunglasses with her smirking lips. "heyyyy you freshmen!! go and study. stop spreading out rumours about me." yelled Layla in a hard tone. Two girls looking like total sluts ran towards Layla "Ohhh God! we are meeting again. Campus is shining again with your presence." buttered the two girls. "shut up idiots." Layla said harshly and rolled her eyes. There was a crowd on one side of building. "What's happening there?" asked Layla. "Um there is this boy who just took part in some kind of research in our department. He is here for this year. He is so handsome and every girl wants her. He is playing guitar for half an hour and girls don't want him to stop playing it. They are just like bees over honey." told the one girl. "then let's go and have a sight." said Layla. As she entered the crowd and saw a boy she was flustered. "what are you doing here, Gace Adrian?" questioned Layla. "See who's here with us! Layla Simon." taunted Gace. He stood up and grabed Layla's hand and walked away with her. "Where are we going?" asked Layla. "Anywhere! my dear" answered Gace. "stop flirting and answer me why the hell are you here? you are not just here for a research? are you?" questioned Layla. "Well i can say that i am here for you but then you will kick me and say some blah blah blah so the truth is that i am here for some buisness." said Gace with a flirting smile. "I will still kick your ass. what kind of buisness you have in a university? and does Fiora knows about this?" questioned Layla. "Slow down lady! well it's complicated but it's a dangerous buisness. some of our people are on lose. They were our body guards....of the prisoners. They know alot about our secrets so we just can't let them go. we have to find them as soon as possible. Father told me to find them and i checked and got this tip that one of them is living here as a lab worker but i am not confirm yet so i came here to check or you can say spy and yes Fiora knows about this and even helping me." told Gace. "Don't you have bunch of people to do this spy thing? why are you doing this on your own?" questioned Layla. "I have but we can't rake risks. Those people didn't see my face so they will not recognise me and there are four of them and we haven't find one yet. I as a boss should solve this mess. It's my responsibility. and moreover i can see you daily so it will be fun." said Gace. "You are such a loser! okay so Fiora's here today? where is she right now?" questioned Layla. "why are you asking me? weren't you my sister's best friend? you should know it." said Gace with blinking his eyes constantly. "We have some talk to do because i did something foolish so you, cheapskate stop your nonsense and tell me where she is? asked Layla. "cool down. She is on second floor with her classmates." answered Gace. "cool!" said Layla and walked up to the second floor.
