Chapter 10: CHAPTER TEN: NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE HER DAUGHTER AWAY FROM HER.
Avianna was in her balcony sitting at the small couch that was beside the jacuzzi pool, lost in thought as she tossed down the fourth glass of liquor, as it burned down her throat.
She didn't mind getting drunk tonight, as she has sent Stacy home early that day, she needed some time alone and didn't need anyone to nag her about loss of weight or what she was supposed to take and the one she wasn't supposed to take, a lot was really going on her mind but she didn't have anyone to share it with, the life of a celebrity she thought in her mind.
Being a celebrity can be funny at times and regretful too but that was what people don't really get to understand.
After six years she has kept Sophie away from her parents,social media and even her own agency, she didn't want to involve her daughter in all this mess and also risk her career.
The most shocking part of it was how her mom got to find out about Sophie,her mom was the list person she expected to find out about her child, was that how desperate her mom wanted to find something against her?, so she would quit modeling for a company she doesn't have interest in, was that how much she hated her and wanted to destroy her?.
Avianna wonders how much her mom knows, does she know who her baby daddy is? Or does she know the particular country Sophie is in?
She was really confused.
A lot of questions were going on and on in her mind; she didn't know what to think exactly.
She still couldn't believe that her own mom will ever threaten her with her child, Avianna never saw that coming, she knew for a fact that her mother hated her, but threatening her with her child, she was really taking it too far.
She has really put a lot of effort into getting where she was today, thinking of that she didn't know when alone made her burst into tears, she could no longer control herself anymore and keep acting tough.
Right now Avianna was just a worried mom looking for how to protect her child from her own mom at every cost .
Amidst her tears she grabbed the bottle of liquor to full her glass with more, but the bottle was already emptied by her, out of frustration Avianna threw the bottle at the wall and it shattered into pieces which even left a small cut on her hand, she looked at the blood that was flowing out of it but she wasn't feeling the pain.
Why must her mom always want to make life hard for her, from when she ran away from her house, her mom made sure no entertainment company signed her if not for the help of her manager who believed in her and saw that she was a good investment as if that was not enough she is now threatening her with her child.
Avianna couldn't stop thinking how badly this secret will affect both her and Sophie if it actually gets exposed, and she won't be able to forgive herself if anything should happen to Sophie because of her,she was really getting confused on how to handle the situation.
Her mom's last words kept on pulping to her head "or maybe getting rid of that thing she calls Sophie".
How could her mom even think of that, getting rid of an innocent child who has absolutely done nothing to her.
Even the baby's father has no idea that she has a baby,so could her mother know her deepest secret that she has kept all long.
The sudden ringing of her phone,jerked her out of her thoughts as she went for her phone to see who was calling.
Surprisingly,it was an unknown number that was calling her private line.Her private number is only issued out to few people and she had never received calls from an unknown number with this line.
She could have ignored the call,but something pushed her to accept the call only to realize that she just made a huge mistake.
"Hello"
She had a male deep voice that actually sounded so familiar that she guessed who it was immediately.
Jason Mcann!.
"It's being a long time since i heard you lovely voice, babygirl"
Babygirl?
How dare he!
It didn't really occur to her that there will ever come a time, when Jason would call her after so many years of him breaking her heart after all his sweet promises of not too.
This was her first love that was calling, and unfortunately her baby daddy.
"What do you want Jason?" she asked with anger burbling in her heart, how dare he just call after so many years.
"I just wanted to hear your voice Babygirl?"
Was he for real?
"Okay you are crazy, you are really crazy to think you can phone me up and talk to me as if you have something going on with me."she sounded annoyed, at the silly excuse of Sophie's dad.
It was such a good idea that she kept the fact about her child away from him, she couldn't risk getting such a toxic person into her child's life just because he's her sperm donor.
That's not happening, Sophie would have to do without knowing who her father is, and it's for the best.
"I missed you sweetheart, I miss us"Jason added, even as it was obvious that she will have his head served on a plate for ringing her up after years of cheating on her.
That was very stupid of him to think that his life, would remain the same after losing the love of his life.
Avianna was everything, and he's going to do everything to have her back.
"Well i don't miss you Jason, you specifically made it known to me that it was over when i walked in on you having your best time with Christie"She spat, her emotions getting the best of her because the hurt of not having him around when she found out she was pregnant.
The Thought of running away from home, due to the shame it was going to bring to the family, the hurt of being all alone to fight both the pregnancy symptoms and all that.
After all those years, here he was calling her once again to tell her that he missed he, what bloody fool was he to think that she will fall for his cheap words again.
"Seriously babygirl, I know that i have hurt you and don't deserve anything good after what i did to you.But I'm a changed man now angel,I'm a…."
"Don't you dare call me your angel, or your babygirl Jason, you literally fucked up the chance to…"
"Can we see tomorrow?"
What sort of she doesn't want to see him again does he doesn't understand?
"Don't you dare call me again?"She warned lastly,before cutting the call without giving him any moment to say further.
Avianna went ahead to block his number, she doesn't need him and never will there be a time that she will need him in her life again.
Yet, why does she have a bad feeling that he knows about Sophie?
Was this all a coincidence that he called right after the riff with her mother yesterday?
Does her mother know who Jason was?
She tried to fix the puzzle, but she was too scared to know what the answer was, regardless of his mother having a hand in Jason calling tonight.
No one…absolutely no one would take her daughter away from her.
That's a promise.
