Chapter 2: Seeker!!

It was a Sunday morning around 7am,ify was already prepared for service as she moves out to lock her door and head to the church ,"peace be unto this house' ah ahh!! Joy good morning,this one you decided to pay me a visit hope am safe? said ify yes you are but bear it in mind that am about going to church ,hope you won't take long ? Not at all dear ,the reason I came to see you is to ask you to pray for me ,as you go to seek the face of God ! a long pause ,this was unsual of joy to behave this way and manner ,what is the problem asked Ify my dear what happened ,I want to seek for justice ! replied Joy ,you want to seek for justice !! I don't understand you what do u mean ? what Justice are you talking about joy asked Ify , I was raped by my dad's uncle who is a pastor !!! Joy broke down in tears as she narrated her ordeal to her friend , it began drizzling as the both sat back on the bedroom and ....I went to spend the weekend with my dad's brother , happens to be a man of God ,that's if he was after all he did to me said Joy .. He called me to come over as the were going for churching on Sunday that was last week ,for chimamanda child baptism ,so I went with a joyful heart , I arrived on Saturday morning as I helped in cleaning and sweeping of the house and cook food that was to be used for the occasion ,went to the market got drinks for the ceremony, when I got home by 5pm ,the house was crowded with visitors and my aunt together with her baby were already at the church for the infant baptism rehearsal, while others where outside ,helped in keeping things in order for the big day I came to my uncle's room and arranged the clothes and gifts which I made for them for the event the next day ,you know nah my handwork definitely speaks for it self ,as Joy bragged about her raw talent in tailoring and dress making ,, alone in the room I felt that both my uncle and his wife were both in church against tomorrow, lo!! my uncle came in to the room without my notice ,stood for a while and watched every bit of my body shape and movements ,,, have always admired you joy right from when you were a girl now your all grown , independent and beautiful, I love the woman am seeing...thank you uncle is called maturation as I continued with my work , so very soon he continues,you will be married and you will do that thing ! uncle which thing I don't understand you ,why you acting as if ur a child Joyce ,I know you are no longer a virgin with all this big breast your carrying ,excuse me uncle I think I have to leave now ! why the rush he asked stop acting like a baby joy,look people are outside so you better behave yourself, and act mature now!!! Uncle maturity is me leaving this room immediately before you act like a child ! as Joy struggles towards the door to leave the room Amobi shut the door and held the key ,looking savagely at joy with the lust of heart rushed towards joy ,held her tight at her waist,in order to shut her up he closed his lips to her own and didn't let it go as she cried within her , struggle to escape but being stronger than she was he unzip her and force his self on her after which he shouted at her to get out of the room ,and if she speaks she will know what he is capable of doing . Goose bump covered Ify who has experienced this on several occasions ,saw the frightened friend and hugged her for a while ,keeping her calm and quiet ,we will seek the face of God joy ,we will seek justice as this is my opportunity to make it right and speak out , those who's problem are solved are those who open up and shared it out ,let's go seek the face of God it has stopped drizzling.
