Chapter 10: atlas
after traveling a few weeks to get to atlas we finally made it a few interesting things happened on our way.
on our way while fighting some bandits I felt someone watching me with intrigue. I noticed a raven in the tree, and I knew exactly who it was.
so, after our fight ended, I called out, " come out raven I know your here so just show yourself." Mordred was a bit confused, and Fenrir looked calm on my shoulder.
after a few she finally decided to show herself and said, " I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you noticed me I have a lot of questions, but I'll ask this first. what are you? my instincts that have helped over the years are telling me to run and not anger you. there are also those key-like weapons you summoned a couple years prior. so, I'll ask again what the hell are you?"
when i heard her, I wasn't too surprised, but the key blades caught me a bit off guard. i knew raven was running from Salem as she found out she was immortal and that she has the maiden powers so that is an even bigger target on her back. so, I just decided to tell her a bit to extend a hand of trust.
I spoke " ok so that's a difficult thing to answer but I'm a human with a lot of powers and know things. the key like weapons are called key blades and they can open any lock, but they also choose their wielder. one of the many things i know is why you ran and why you're scared."
she looked surprised and a bit fearful at the mention of why she ran. but she spoke, "ok that explains a little but what do you know or more specifically why I ran then ill believe you more."
I nodded and spoke " you ran because you found out about the nature of the queen and got scared as you thought she was unbeatable. let's not even mention the maiden you just got. Once you found out oz was hiding the truth and you felt you couldn't trust him you ran but still try to keep an eye on yang and her sister that looks so much like summer to try and payback some of her goodwill that she gave you."
she was shocked that I knew everything about why and what she has been doing so after she recovered, she spoke, "so you do know things but if you know about the queen why fight after all she can't be killed?"
I shook my head and said " I fight because she can be beaten even immortal just seal her boom done. that's not counting the numerous ways i have to kill her I'll show you one of the blades I own can kill immortal beings and gods so why would I run."
i also pulled out one of the many blades that can kill her, and she was speechless. a bit after she started to chuckle then it went into full blown laughter and spoke, " I've been a fool hell we all where oz especially as why would he not seal her if he has magic. we have really been fools and I've been a horrible mother oh summer would be so disappointed in me."
as she said the last sentence she fell to her knees and started bawling at what she's done. I walked up to her and sat her up and did what no one expected. I karate chopped her head and said, " bad girl. yes, you did horrible things abandoned your kid, left your only family and friends who still love you by the way. did a lot more harm than good and probably would still be on this path if you had not met me."
she looked at me with tears in her eyes and holding her head and said " you suck at cheering up people, weren't you supposed to say it's going to be alright or something. and did you have to hit my head that hurt a lot!"
I chuckled and said " it was supposed to and would it have made any difference with you if I said those things and not point out your wrongs you knew them, but did you actually know them. you left your child behind as you thought you weren't ready and that she deserved to be raised away from the bandit tribe. left your family and friends so as not to let them lose hope like you did about Salem. so, you are more than what you thought as you are a huntress raised to be a bandit but saw the mistakes that were going to happen and decided to do something about it."
I took a breath and smiled at her and spoke, " you have good in you more than you know. you can redeem yourself it will take some time you can, then when you're ready. be with your family and make yourself proud as that is the one who matters. once you can love yourself and feel free is when you have done what you wanted. don't be raven Branwen bandit leader be raven Branwen proud huntress and mother who will be there for her daughter."
she looked at me with tears in her eyes and nodded and said, "your right and thank you Doryu, I'll meet her in the future, but I'll start atoning for what I've done and giving me hope again when I lost it all."
I nodded as she left and i hope she will begin to understand what i meant. I know she's a good person truly and she needed a push in the right direction.
that was the big thing that happened before atlas now we are in front of a hotel to stay while in atlas. after getting to the room i decided to plan on how to approach willow to get her help about Jaques.
I decided to talk to her while she was in the garden drinking and im going to be invisible and going to have my a.i hack the cameras so we can talk without worrying about anything.
so, when I saw that she was in the garden I decided that it was time to go so after I told Mordred I teleported and made sure the cameras were looped and after double checking she was alone I spoke, " hello willow Schnee true heir of the Schnee dust company and victim of Jaques Gele."
when I spoke, she got startled and almost screamed but when she heard everything, she knew that I was an enemy of Jaques and could possibly help. so, after she took a deep breath to calm herself, she spoke," hello strange voice may I ask what you want here."
I chuckled a bit and spoke " well I'm here to get Jaques dragged down to hell, and you take over the company. you can call me dragon instead of strange voice."
after she heard that she had hope reignited in her eyes and looked determined. she spoke so after, " can you complete that many have tried and failed if you can I'll be in your debt after all you would be freeing me and my children from that monster."
I spoke " yes, I can after all i have evidence of his crime all the proof I need to bring him down, but I can't just yet as you will need to take over the company soon after. the company used to do good but now it hurts people and Faunus cutting corners just to save money."
after I said that she looked down in sadness at what her father's company has become and not being able to fight back. as she was scared for her children if he decided to kill her off just because she fought back. she spoke after a bit, " what do you need my help with and why do this?"
I spoke " I need you to start preparing papers to get the company once his crimes are out and work on getting the people help, they need. as for why I'm helping why wouldn't I help a beautiful woman like yourself trapped in a so-called prison."
after she heard that she blushed a bit and said, " you shouldn't say things that are untrue after all I'm no longer beautiful but thanks. regarding the preparations I'll do them but what do you want out all this as there's nothing truly free."
I decided to be silent for a few then spoke, " well if you want to repay me, I want.... you. you are truly beautiful so don't put yourself down like that. besides i already money power and a lot of things so bringing him down will give me satisfaction."
she looked shocked and blushed hard at what i said. soon she spoke, " I... I thank you for the compliment but really of all things you want, you want me Haha well then if you truly can and I get the company out of his hands and get it back straight you'll have me. I'm willing to sell my soul to get that bastard away from my children."
to say I was shocked would be an understatement as I was not expecting her to sell herself in a way, but I just said " very well once we accomplish our task, I will have you. I will promise that you will be happy, and I will help with a lot but before I go a little gift."
after I said that I healed her body of everything and so now she is in her peak form as I also got rid of the poison that was disabling her aura. she was a huntress when she was younger and a decent one too.
she felt the changes and was happy she could feel her aura again as tears started falling at the chance to live again. She spoke, "thank you so much for the gift. would I be able to see what you look like?"
I thought about it and checked to see if anyone was near and no one near so I said, " sure willow but please don't tell anyone about my involvement at all just think of me as a guardian then in the future once we know each other more I'll be coming for you." after i said so i became visible with my eyes visible as well and her jaw dropped at how i looked.
I chuckled at how she looked, and she snapped out of it and decided to walk to me as she was in front of me, she hugged me suddenly and said, " thank you for helping me even though we still have more to do thank you. and I look forward to the day you take me."
I was shocked again and a little blush on my face i said, " sure no problem willow and I think it's time i go once you are done ill know so goodbye for now." as I left, I didn't notice how willow had a big smile on her face.
after I got to the hotel, I saw that Mordred was giving me a jealous look again as I'm sure she figured out what happened. she didn't say anything and neither did I so after a few minutes I decided to speak, " you know I can tell why you're giving me those looks and I'm sure I'll have to be the one to say anything as you're a bit to prideful."
after I said that she looked a bit red and exclaimed " I don't know what you're talking and I'm not that prideful." i chuckled a bit and said, " yes maybe your right as you've calmed down a bit since being with me but i still want to say something."
she looked at me curious as to what I was going to say. so, I spoke with a gentle smile " thank you Mordred for being with me and I'm happy your here with me."
her face looked stunned for a minute but then she did what I didn't expect. she started crying. I panicked a bit, so I went to her and started to comfort her and said, " hey it's okay I didn't mean to make you cry I'm sorry." she shook her head and spoke after wiping her tears, " no it's not your fault i guess I'm happy. they happiest I've been in I don't know how long so thank you for summoning me."
after she finished talking, she looked me in the eyes and began to get closer and i did as well and finally "chu~" we didn't care where we were or what was going to happen as we just enjoyed each other's presence. we didn't go to the last step as that would not be right not right now especially right after we confirmed our feelings for each other.
(A.N what do you think of this format does it work better ill probably go to the old one for a few more as i write a few chapters ahead so please let me know.)

Wolfe_pack22 i know the interaction between raven kinda sucked but her character is a complex one to write so in the future when she is back her personality will have changed a bit. and with willow its just a starting point for the relationship it wont go into anything till a bit in beacon.
