Chapter 3: The Saiyan Arrives
Some time passed after our MC got transferred here in this world and he's pretty sure now that there's no way he can get back to his old life. He willingly gives up his name Zyris and chooses to pretend himself as Goku now, either he's in a coma or this is just a really long dream.
"By the way King Kai, you know the planet called Yardrat right...?" -Goku asked politely.
"Of course Goku, I know that planet. Why are you asking that question?" -King Kai
"Can you teach me the Instant Transmission? Or maybe... Forced Spirit Fission? Or even Kai Kai?" -Goku asks.
"I don't know Goku, I don't think you're strong enough to learn the Instant Transmission and Force Spirit Fission yet, the Yardrat's technique can take quite some time to learn. Plus, it's been almost 9 months now and you just mastered Kaioken and Spirit Bomb. I don't think we have time for that, Hehe..." -King Kai giggles.
"Wait, it's been 9 months? That's sure way longer than the Canon, I hope I don't arrive there late" -Goku
Our Goku doesn't remember exactly whether Vegeta and Nappa came early or Goku just overslept and arrived late as usual. A hero always arrives late, that's why we called him a hero. Knowing our Goku, he's not a hero, at all. Just the type who gets the work done.
"Where are you going Goku? I believed you still have some time left before The Saiyan arrives" -King Kai
Our Goku looks around, searching for The Snake Way before suddenly realizing that King Kai asked him. Also making him sweat a little bit.
"(Shit, how do I explain this...)" -Goku
"Uh yeah, something worried me. I believed it is better to return before the Saiyan arrives, just in case..." -Goku
It doesn't make it any less suspicious but either way, King Kai still wished him good luck and waved.
"(I better hurry up before all the Z fighters get fucked)" -Goku whispered to himself.
Goku wastes no time and runs through The Snake Way as fast as he could, like chasing an invisible finish line. And surprise, surprise. Goku actually arrived in time, unlike Canon Goku.
He arrives just about the time when Vegeta and Nappa meet all the Z fighters. While the Saiyan wasting time underestimates those earthlings as weak when compared to something else they know and fought before. Goku hid his Ki, waiting for the chance to strike.
"Hmph, look at what we found here three pathetic insects doing their best to look tough" -Nappa, looking down at the Z fighters.
"You can give them credit for one thing they at least seem to know who we are" -Vegeta
"Yeah I know too" -Goku
...One awkward moment later...
"What was that? Did you hear something, Nappa?" -Vegeta, glances around, searching where the voice came for
"Was that... Goku?" -Piccolo
"(Shit, that slipped out!)" -Goku
"(Alright, whatever happens, let's just get shit done.)" -Goku
Vegeta and Nappa begin to fly around the mountains searching for Goku until they came upon a certain mountain. Expectedly, some Ki is lurking around that certain mountain so Vegeta and Nappa have their guard up.
Our Goku decided to be the one who starts the battle first because Goku believes whoever starts the battle first, wins first. Or so he thought...
"...Vegeta!!-"
Before Nappa can do anything, Zyris goes behind Nappa and chop at his neck, knocking him out in the process and throwing Nappa's body to the Z fighters.
"(Uh... what would Goku say?) Don't kill him. He's a nice guy, he only followed orders, bad guys can change" -Goku
"(Actually I needed him just because of the Super Saiyan God ritual, that's all)" -Goku
"What a coward..." -Vegeta
This is also where our Goku fucked up, while still thinking about the Super Saiyan God ritual he got struck by the prince's punch. Forcing him to lie on the ground with Yamcha's iconic pose in the process.
Because due to that he wasn't using any transformation forms or Kaioken at the time. Vegeta's base power level is almost doubled Goku's base power. So Goku is knocked out.
"I will give you one chance, leave this planet to get out of this alive or die." -Vegeta
"No wonder Raditz would have a hard time against the likes of you" - Vegeta
All the Z fighters enter a fighting stance, and they all do the combo they prepared, Tien, Krillin, and Chiaotzu try to hold off Vegeta. Tien performs a Kikoho, and Krillin uses Destructo on his disk. While Piccolo and Gohan charged a dual Masenko.
"Tri-Beam!" -Tien
"Destructo Disk!" -Krillin
"Masenko!!" -Piccolo and Gohan
Vegeta just casually deflects it off like paper. It was desperate, to say the least. Then, he started beating the hell out of everyone.
"Well, I guess Nappa belongs here after all" -Vegeta
Vegeta being Bejita likes to take his time beating the hell out of everyone while saying how weak they are. Until...
[Goku's POV]
"What he was saying? Raditz...? My brother... isn't he the guy who leads "Saiyan Saga" or "Pure Saiyans" Category Ki +3 and HP, ATK & DEF +170%; plus an additional HP, ATK & DEF +30% for characters who also belong to the "Space-Traveling Warriors" Category? Truly one of the Dokkan Festival?"
[3rd POV]
Vegeta flies up to the sky overlaying the Sun, and his aura flares up, preparing his signature attack.
"Even Nappa...? Are you willing to kill your own men?" -Krillin
"You will all die here then I'll get Kakarot later" -Vegeta
"Damnit, it's all over..." -Tien
"Father..." -Gohan
"Prepare, all of you! for oblivion!! Big Bang-" -Vegeta
"You mean Big Bang Attack?" -Goku
Our MC appeared out of nowhere. Before Vegeta could finish his sentence, remember, he can't sense Goku's presence due to the fact he didn't learn how to read Ki yet and still using a scouter. Our Goku intercepts Vegeta by punching him and sending him into a nearby wasteland and follows Vegeta shortly after.
