Chapter 60: Pokemon Saga: Journey of a Lifetime Ch60
Ryan immediately turned his head to see Alex got an knife embedded in his arm. He rushed and saw the wound he took some cloth and wrapped it tightly around Alex's arm.
"Alicia I know you are a Psychic protect your brother" he said which made Alicia widen her eyes but she obliged since her brother's life was in danger.
Ryan looked around for Wendell but didn't find anyone.
'Like I though so it was you all along' thought Ryan as he scanned his surroundings for Wendell. He nor Kirlia could find Wendell's presence. There was no way he is an master at hiding. Ryan's sensing skills are so high that his 6 senses are heightened to a new league. The only thing Ryan can conclude is that Wendell has ran away.
Ryan went to Alex's side. He examined Alex's wound. He took the knife and examined it. He was shocked when he saw what was applied on the Knife. It was poison. If it was a normal one he wouldn't be shocked like this but this poison is something you can only see once in a lifetime.
"Lacrimae Luctus Mors (Tears of Mourning Death)" Ryan whispered.
"What !?" Alicia shouted. Ryan has seen her in this state for the first time.
"Good, It seems like you know what it is. Then you know what to do" Ryan said as he hurriedly brought his Med kit.
"Please tell me you're joking. Lacrimae Luctus Mors is not something that can be seen this easily." Alicia whisper shouted.
"Look at his wound. You can clearly see the wound that the old texts told us" Ryan said as he thought.
'I knew something was wrong with Wendell but this is pain madness. He is just a psycho!. Using something like this. I know I have killed many people but I have not used something like this' thought Ryan.
"It seems like his aura is isolating the poison. I'll remove the poison first then go chase Wendell" Ryan thought out loudly.
"Wendell? You are telling me Wendell did this?" She said not believing Ryan. Wendell was a person she has known for a long time. He would never do things like this!
"Yes I had my doubts but didn't want to break your unity. I saw the malevolence in his eyes whenever we talked. I thought he just hated me but to do this to his teammates. . . He is not who you told he is." Ryan said. Alicia didn't miss when he told 'Teammates'.
"What do you mean by 'Teammates'?" she asked not liking where this is going.
"You must have guessed it by now. Marco and Lisa didn't die naturally but were murdered by Wendell. He had replaced Marco's herb with Belladonna killing him slowly by giving him 'Essentia Nihili (essence of nothingness)' to erase all the traces. He also murdered Lisa but I don't know why" said Ryan.
Alicia was absolutely stupefied. "Then why didn't you say anything?" she whispered.
"Would you believe a stranger whom you have never met in your lifetime accusing your team leader?" Asked Ryan making Alicia look down. She had been in love with Wendell but to do something like this to her brother. . . She will never let him go unscathed.
Soon Ryan began treating the wound. He made an bubble like structure from the surrounding water aura. He gently pushed it into Alex's blood stream. Alex started to thrash wildly due to the foreign Aura entering his body.
"Restrain him if I stop his life will be in danger" Ryan told her seriously. Alicia immediately used her psychic powers to restrain her brother.
After the aura spread across his whole body Ryan started to suck the poison into the aura he injected soon all the poison steadily flowed along with the receding foreign aura. As Ryan fully took back the aura he injected he saw the sphere which was translucent blue was now a murky black colour.
He used his own aura to purify it. Soon an white aura got into the ball. Soon the aura returned to its original colour. He slowly released it into the air. He also kept some of the Poison as evidence against Wendell.
He saw Alex sleeping comfortably and told Alicia "Take care of your brother. I'll take care of Wendell" he said as his eyes glowed with malevolence. Alicia had to suppress a shudder seeing those eyes.
Ryan started to take of using Psychic energy to make himself light, so that he can jump and glide through the forest. Ryan started to use his powers to detect Wendell but couldn't find anywhere in the Vicinity.
'Where on Arceus's name has he gone. Wendell tried to kill us but Alex was the only one who got hurt. He cannot go alone through the forest since there are multiple pokemons that can end him easily. It is insanity if he wants to get out of this forest even if he has a team of full elite pokemon.
He is aiming for something else what is it? He cannot take Marco's and Lisa's Pokemon since they are kept with Alicia and Alex. What on earth is he going after!' Ryan thought frustrated.
Then it hit him 'The Ursarings! is he trying to catch those Ursarings and steal their Egg? If so that is plain madness. Even I would not dare anger a champion level pokemon on my own. Its true I have Seismitoad which is Lv 51 now but I haven't made it submit it fully' Ryan thought.
He immediately changed his direction setting of towards the Ursaring's cave. After half an hour he reached the cave. Normally it would take half a day to come here but he has boosted himself with Psychic energy and aura. He also had took a lift from Crobat.
He smelt poison inside the cave. Ryan then saw Wendell getting thrown from the Cave as a blooded Ursaring came out.
"I knew I shouldn't trust you humans. I only trusted you because of the aura guardian. He swore on his name yet you sullied his honor!" The Ursaring roared out.
The Ursaring tried to attack but halted when Wendell brought up the egg in front of him. Ryan was absolutely furious. He has taken an unborn baby as an hostage!. He used his aura to propel himself and punched Wendell in the face.
Ursaring who was standing due to sheer will power slumped down seeing Ryan punch Wendell. He saw the unbridled rage in his eyes. Those eyes were enough for the Ursaring to trust Ryan.
'It seems like I can trust him' the Ursaring thought.
Ryan immediately took the Egg and took it towards the Ursaring. He immediately bowed down apologizing for what Wendell had done.
"Guardian rise up, it was not your fault. It was my fault that I couldn't see past that man's trickery. He used your name and ambushed us at he last second. If you really want to apologize to me do it by raising my unborn child. Me and my wife can't survive due to the poison.
We don't want our child to be born when we are in this state. Its a shame we can't see the young one grow but such is our fate. I trust you young guardian. May Arceus look over you" the Ursaring told as life left its eyes.
Ryan kept the egg in his spatial storage.
'I'll worry about the egg later first I have a trash to take care of' Ryan thought.
