Chapter 46: 3-5: Explorer's Guild Part II

The battle against the twenty Blood-Winged Eagles was short but brutal, costing Ampere the lives of four mercenaries. While Kelly tried to calm down their hired bodyguards with promises of more gold, the young master approached the three weather-worn people who were the main reason for this predicament. Usually, Ampere would have told them off in a loud and pompous manner, but the fight just now drained him of both stamina and magic power, so he simply showed them a look of disdain and a grunt.

"What are you doing in such a dangerous land? You nearly had us and yourselves killed!"

'If you haven't blundered and used the Burrowing Nose-Horn's cry, then we wouldn't be in this situation' was what Silver thought, but he merely smiled and gave a humbling bow.
