Chapter 61: Chapter : 58 How far have you come?
[3rd POV]
The match between Iida and Todoroki was quick and one-sided. Todoroki began the fight by freezing the whole arena, making the ground slippery and uneven to mess with Iida's sprinting.
Next, without hesitation he used his fire side to cover his body in flames - making sure that even if Iida got close to him he won`t be able to grab or even stay near him.
Iida face darkened and he knew he was bound to lose, but he was satisfied and honored to see Todoroki taking him seriously.
The fight was brief, Iida in a burst of speed attacked Todoroki. He even used the ice as a football to attack Todoroki but all was a futile struggle that prolonged inevitable defeat.
Todoroki froze his legs in ice and the match ended in an overwhelming display of power and quirk superiority.
It showed the world again that quirk mattered and some people are just build different.
The crowd hyped up the son of the No.2 hero and the said hero had a wild and untamed smile when he saw the whole ordeal.
The next match was Midoriya vs Bakugo.
While all of these were happening Bakugo and Ochako had their moment in the silent room of the infirmary.
Ochako was happy and Bakugo was confused as fuck.
But Bakugo did not need to understand anything to stitch a smile on Ochako`s face it seems. He has that much rizz even without his knowledge, we expected nothing less from him.
In another part of the stadium, there was also a talk between Midoriya and All Might. It was going to be a big match for Midoriya, a fight against someone he has chased after for many years.
He didn`t think he would win but he was determined to see how far he had come and how far he needed to go to finally catch up with his friend from long ago.
Many things happed during the UA sports and everyone has grown in their own way. Ochako, Momo, Todoroki, Midoriya etc.
But the UA sports has still yet to reach its end.
"AND NOW!!! TO DIECIDE WHO IS GOING TO BATTLE AGAINST TODOROKI, LET US CALL OUT THE NEXT MATCH!!! ARE YOU READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
*YEAHHH!!!!*
"THEN LET US WELCOME BAKUGO OF CLASS A!!!!!"
The crowd erupted in maddening cheers as every camera and the eyes of the people looked towards the opening hallway.
The big screen also displayed the situation clearly for those too far to see.
There was no one to be found before a figure appeared from the dark hallway.
It was Bakugo but something was different. His red pupils were not visible in his eyes and his spiky hair was standing on its end
His mouth opened slightly and his rows of white teeth and sharp canines could be seen. the darkest smoke was leaking out of his mouth and travelled upwards.
The thick black smoke continued to come out from his mouth as if a searing inferno, a hellfire was boiling inside of him.
He looked like a demon straight from hell. A beast of scorch.
He almost mirrored a dragon.

Iida walked with his head held a little lower than usual. He would`ve never allowed himself to have such posture but it seems at the moment his mood reflected on his body.
He walked the empty hallway of the arena, his mind going in places he was not fond of. Was he destined to lose? Was it impossible to win against real geniuses like Bakugo and Todoroki? Will his family be as disappointed as he is?
The perfect son, the perfect student and now he aims to be the perfect hero. But would he really be able to achieve it?
*Ringgg~*
His phone rang and he can guess who was on the other side. It must be his mother who decided to call him after watching the match.
He sighed, fixed his posture even though his mother won`t see it and then, only then did he pick up the phone.
"Hello? Mom, I am sorry but it seems this is as far as I could get. Don`t worry-"
He was cut off mid sentence by his mother. She never does that.
"Tenya!!!" Her voice on the other side came with worry and fear. He tensed up upon hearing her voice.
His mother was always strict and calm. An unwelcomed feeling was born within his heart when he heard her voice of distress.
"Tenya!!" Now she was sobbing.
He pressed his phone harder on his ear, seemingly trying to fuse it with his ear to be able to figure out what exactly was going on.
"Your brother.." She began.

"No..." his body shook.
"Oh no...."

[MC POV]
You know what, girls are weird as fuck.
Even with all my genius I was completely flabbergasted with the actions of girls. I pity the common man. They stood no chance.
First she attacked me, then she apologized. I complimented her and then she cried. I tried to console her then she pushed me away. I stopped and then she smiled.
Then after all that she told me she was happy? Bitch I beat you up why are you happy!!! You are sending mixed signals here and I have no fucking idea what to do.
Oh and then there was the kiss on the cheek when I was about to leave. She said it was good luck for my match
All the people in the world and she chose to wish me luck. Like hell I need those.
But her lips were soft though, and plump. I will think again about accepting good luck if it comes with those kisses everytime.
I walked through the brightly lit hallway and I made my way to the arena. As my thoughts were entertaining me I brought my hand to my cheek.
The place where Ochako kissed me.
I could still feel the shadow of her lips, its as if she was still kissing me.
I felt my cheek and they were slightly...wet.
I unconsciously brought my hand to my nose and sniff it. It was Ochako`s salive.
'Hmmm. It smells like her.'
My sense of smell could be heightened with my power so I continued taking in her scent for a few extra seconds before another question popped up.
'I wonder how it taste like?'
Then almost entirely on instinct, I took a lick.
She tasted sweet and feminine...wait.
!!!
My body got goosebumps and I trembled from my toes and that traveled to the tips of my hair.
'What the fuck did I just do!!!"
Disgusted and creeped out by my action I covered my mouth with both hands. Then to cleanse my mouth I exploded the inside of my mouth multiple times.
The shockwave nearly made me pass out but I continued.

All the while my legs had carried me to the areana. There was silence when I entered before they cheered.
*WHOOOOOO!!!*
The noise brought me back to my sense. I shook my head and decided to forget what happened.
What happened just now? I don`t know!!
I walked to the platform and stood at the edge as the crowd calmed down.
"NOW THE OPPONENT IZUKU MIDORIYA OF CLASS 1 A!! LETS WELCOME HIM!!" Present Mike announced.
The announcement was followed by another cheer as I saw Deku walk out from the opposite side.

He bit down on his teeth as his lips puckered with resolve. His eyes was glazed with certainty and his gait was that of a prepared worrior.
I watched him like a hawk as he made his way to the platform and stood opposite to me. A wide smile spread on my face as a ceremony.
"THE WINNER WILL BE CERTAIN TO TAKE SECOND PLACE AND WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO FIGHT FOR THE FIRST RANK!!"
I observed Deku who was no longer my friend at this moment. I only saw my prey. He also gaze right back at me, unfazed by my glowing red eyes and unnerving smile.
"ARE YOU READY!!"
The crowd went crazy.
"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!!!!"

Everything was green. Everything was lightning.
Midoriya`s body was glowing and the air vibrated with abundant power as he came at me like a shooting star.
