Chapter 17: Aftermath
Dashing towards the closest Isaac using the gauntlets he basically stabbed the wraith through the stomach driving his whole arm out the back in a familiar manner.
pulling out he rushed to the next wraith who was sharp enough to land an attack of Isaac making him take a few steps back but the injury soon closed up the other wraith wasn't dull either as it didn't give Isaac time to recover before closing in with a bite it bite into Isaacs shoulder a grunt escaped Isaacs mouth as this was one of the most serious injury he had received but not wasting anytime Isaac clawed at the neck of the creature immersing it with pain as it released Isaac from its fangs
'time to return the favor' Isaac thought leaping through the air Isaac grabbed on to the creatures shoulders as he delivered a bite of his own removing his fangs blood began spurting out he seemed to have hit a vital area
In not much time all the wraiths were dead the hooded figure finally stood up and started clapping "that was fantastic"
Isaac was walking over to where she was when suddenly a message popped up
*Rage mode deactivated*
Isaac was on his knees as his body was aching all over with pain he couldn't moves a muscle his eyes fixated on his final target.
The hooded figure seemed to be going through troubles of her own as she almost fell down gripping her staff as she could feel her head splitting within like a power struggle
"Ahh I guess times up, for now see you another time Isaac" waving her staff in a pattern a dark portal opened up and all the corpse of the wraith and her shadow throne all started fading including the shadows holding Isabel as it were fading Isabel was about to fall to the group but Isaac mustering the last of his strength dashed towards her catching her midair he lay her down gently as she was regaining her consciousness
"What happened" Isabel asked as her mind was still foggy
"Well its over" Isaac who was laying beside her answered
Isaac opening the system window was barraged with a bunch of information at once

And so the night was over as the sun rose in the opposite direction of the cave, sun rays entering the cave as the sun shone upon Isaac and Isabel who lay side by side worn down from the prolonged fight.
Two figures could be seen standing at the mouth of a cave, battered and covered in patches of black blood
"I can't believe we made it through that".
"well you did a good job I'd say" Isabel replied gazing into the forest.
"I think we should get going"
"I don't think I can go home like this" Isaac said pointing out his stained cloth "I did bring a change of clothes but".
Isaac's bag could be seen lying down on the floor drenched with black blood.
"So then what do you intend to do" Isabel asked, of recently her tone has been less aggressive and she has been more open to conversations.
"Well I think there should be a stream somewhere around here" Isaac replied his voice with a trail of uncertainty.
Face palming at Isaac's idea "Just follow me" she said taking the lead as she started walking.
Isaac followed her without questioning as he didn't know what else he could do, the two had been walking for a while it had been awkwardly quiet when Isabel suddenly broke the silence.
"Do you have any idea who she might have been, she seem to have known your name plus she stated she had been observing you".
"Nope not at all, am just glad we made it, but she could still appear at any moment".
"That's what I have been warning you about the supernatural world is not an easy one you have to always be vigilant we don't know what she wants from you so be careful".
"I will by the way we have been walking for a while now and I don't see any water nor hear a stream?" Isaac asked a bit puzzled.
"Water, Stream? Who said we were going to a stream" Isabel said.
"Then where are we going to"
"You're asking too many questions just trust me" Isabel say's in a tone not quite familiar to Isaac.
Without further questioning Isaac followed her they walked for a while they were now closer to the town before a building came into view it seemed to be secluded from the town but was close enough.
"We are here".
"And where is here" Isaac replied
"Well this is where I and andrew stay".
"Wait, what" on hearing this Isaac could only think of two things.
"But what of Andrew, I wouldn't want to undergo another interrogation"
Isaac side remembering the last time the two had met.
Interrupting his thoughts "Don't worry about that he's not in town".
This calmed Isaac down, a bit but he was still a bit nervous 'so it would just be the two of us alone! Come on get your shit together she probably doesn't care about any of that' Isaac though after all it was his first time visiting a girls house and on-top of that alone.
The two approached the compound the building was fenced approaching the gates there didn't seem to be any keyholes or such rather there was a weird button probably a doorbell.
Place her thumb on it rather than pressing it with any other finger she kept her thumb there for a while a click was heard.
Then the gate swung open.
