Chapter 3: Arrival of the Arab ship

Abdul Shams had received information about the arrival of the Arab ship.He received Abul Hasan and his companions along with some of the dignitaries of the city, accommodating them in his house and their horses in his stables. Some two hundred buyers of fifty horses gathered and all started bidding higher than each other.

Dilip Singh advised that no horse should be sold without showing the King (Raja) that he might buy all the horses.

Abdul Shams supported Dilip Singh

While these things were going on, the King(Raja)'s envoy came and said,

His Majesty wants to meet the Arab traders and see their horses.

Dilip Singh told the envoy that you go and tell Majesty, that we are coming now.

That he addressed Abul Hasan. A horse is chosen by the daughter of Sheikh Abdul

Shams.I think it should be left here.

Abul Hasan said,

If Sheikh wants to take it for himself, then I have no excuse, but he is not capable of riding girls. He is very stubborn?

A voice came from one side, father!

They think we won't be able to pay for it, observed Abul Hasan. The same girl he saw on the plane. She was standing with a bridle in one hand and a whip in the other, but this time her dress was like that of an Arab woman.

Abul Hasan said slightly mildly.

If you don't trust me, see for yourself. If you can give him reins, this horse will be your reward?"

The girl walked quickly towards the stable. All the other people also walked in that direction. After taking a quick look at all the horses, the girl went towards the white horse. The horse, seeing it, gave up its fodder and raised its ears. The girl patted the horse and it stood on its hind legs. Seeing this, the other horses began to break the ropes.

Abul Hasan said,

Stop!"

And he went ahead and untied the horse's saddle and came out and tied it to a tree and said. Now you can dare.

The girl suddenly stepped forward and caught hold of the horse's lower jaw with one hand and with the other thrust the bridle into the animal's mouth as it writhed, leapt and jumped like a wounded animal.

The spectators could not control their surprise that she opened the rope and rode on the horse's back. The horse jumped out of possibility after being poked a few times.

Sheikh Abdul Shams said proudly. Arabian mares haven't produced a horse that Salma can't ride.

Abul Hasan replied,

"This was not a condition, it was a reward, and the price of the reward is not taken. How lucky is that horse to find such a rider?"

The King (Raja) had already decided to buy all the horses before seeing them. The price paid from the royal treasury was more than the Arabs expected.

The King (Raja)asked Abul Hasan many questions about the new religion of the Arabs and their conquests.

Dilip Singh acted as interpreter.

After answering all the questions,

Abul Hasan shed light on every aspect of Islam. After acknowledging the many virtues of Islam, the King (Raja) dismissed Abul Hasan with a promise to meet him again.

When Abul Hasan returned to his host's house, he found that Salma had not yet returned and Abdul Shams had gone in search of her with a few men.

Abul Hasan was strolling in the courtyard of the house in a state of anxiety after performing the Zuhr prayer, when a white horse came running inside. The bridle of the horse was also missing. Abul Hasan looked at his companions and said, God knows what happened to him. The horse is certainly rebellious, but he is not going to come without the fallen rider, and the bridle might have broken under the foot, but it was impossible for him to fall, I go.

Abul Hasan ordered another bridle from the servant of Sheikh Abdul Shams and gave it to the horse and rode out of the house on his bare back.

After passing a few kos through the dense forest, the horse climbed a hill and stopped near a waterfall. There was no way to go higher than that, and after looking around for some time, Abul Hasan dismounted from his horse and tied it to a tree and started calling out to Salma.

After searching for a long time, he got tired and sat down on the edge of a rock near the waterfall.

It was evening.

Abu al-Hasan offered the Asr prayer and then reached a difficult path to a place where the water of a mountain stream flowed down in the form of a waterfall.

Salma was lying under a tree by the stream a few steps away.

Abu al-Hasan's eyes fell upon him when a dragon three yards long and as thick as a man's thigh was slithering through the grass and approaching him. Abul Hasan ran to Salma, saying, Salma, and took him by the arm, dragging him a few steps away. Salma opened her eyes with a small cry. The dragon snarled at the sight of its prey.

In such a long time, Abul Hasan had taken out the sword. He reached very close to him and raised his neck. Abul Hasan struck one side, the dragon head are separated.

Abul Hasan said while cleaning the sword with the water of the river,

you are very stupid!

Which place was this to sleep?"

Salma was still trembling with terror.

She said,

"I was tired and sat here and fell asleep without knowing what time."

I have been here many times but never seen such a dragon. You have arrived, otherwise this dragon would be swallowing me instead of writhing like this. How did you get here?

You know how I got here.

Tell me, why did you leave the horse when you got here?

Salma replied with a smile,

"When did I leave?"

He dropped me and ran away.

Abul Hasan said in a somewhat harsh tone that it appears that your training took place in a very poor environment.

Therefore, the standard of your morals should be the same as that of the Arabs of the ignorance era, but they also considered lying to a guest to be an abominable act despite the thousand evils and seeing this horse returning empty, I could not believe it. That if he has run away. He has been trained in my stable. It is defiant and arrogant, but it does not know how to deceive.

Tell me the truth, you didn't remove his reins from your own hands and send him back with threats?"

Salma answered by lowering his eyes.

"If you think bad, then I promise that I will never tell a lie again."

There are many things in you that i considered bad, which every Muslim will find bad.

If you want, I am ready to change any habit. Your pleasure is my duty and you have saved my life today.

You don't need to please me. I want your God to be pleased with you. You should like only what He likes and dislike whatever He dislikes. God does not like women to go in front of men in semi-naked clothes.

Salma replied, I changed the dress as you said.

Abul Hasan said. A change of heart is needed more than clothes, but now is not the time for talk. It is evening. Your father will be very worried. They went in search of you before the horse arrived.

Abul Hasan and Salma were crossing the forest in the moonlit night. Salma was riding a horse. Abul Hasan was walking forward holding the bag.

On the way, Salma asked questions about Abul Hasan's voyage, his family and his companions, but contrary to his expectations, Abul Hasan's disbelief grew.

You hurt a lot because of me, I'm sorry. You can punish me, but don't worry, it was my fault and i should have walked. I'm coming down. You ride a horse.

This time too, contrary to his expectation, Abul Hasan responded coldly. If i did not fear that you are a woman and some beast will eat you, I would certainly not be walking with you at this time. Salms remained silent for a while as if defeated. Then she said ,If that dragon had swallowed me, would you have regretted it? ... "

It's not just for you. If he had killed anyone in front of me, would I have been so sorry?"

Why did you risk your life for me?

It is the duty of a Muslim to save a person's life.

Salma remained silent for a long time.

In the distance, the hoofing of some horses was heard.

Abul Hasan said, Look at this!

They are still looking for you.

After a while Abdul Shams and his companions arrived.Seeing his daughter safe, Abdul Shams did not feel the need to go into the details of the events. Hearing about the dragon from Salma's mouth, he thanked Abdul Hassan.
