Chapter 22: CHAPTER 22

On their way back home, they didn't dare talk and play but discussed seriously the bad conditions of the school.

They were discussing measures and what they could do to help more, and it was a long discussion.

Diamond had insomnia that night, so she used that time to think things through.

The next day, she went to work as usual. And spent her time checking some houses and, after some long search, she finally found a house that she was satisfied with.

She made a phone call and went through a lengthy call before making an appointment.

When the day finally came to an end, she had read through the reports that were submitted. And even checked the photos that had been re-touched for the trip to the school.

These photos and videos were going to be posted on the DIAMOND OF HOPE website, to spread some love and encourage more people to give out a helping hand.

Diamond was satisfied with how the employees carried out the first project.

So she decided to give them some free rein on the next missions, but this didn't mean that she had given up on the school.

She was going to keep on providing aid and mold these girls into magnificent figures in the future.

Diamond took a leave of absence from work and left the employees to be alone for a while, and she went to Taco without informing her family about it.

Diamond met with the real estate agent she had talked to on the phone a few days before. The two talked for a while before she was taken to see the villa she had fallen in love with at first sight.

After checking the place physically, and finding no problems with it, she paid in full for the villa, and all that was left was for her family to move in.

The house was put under both her mother's and father's names. She didn't want to be seen as a discriminative daughter for favoring one parent over the other.

Since the house was paid for already, it was time for her family to move in and leave that neighborhood. She was going to provide only the best things for her family.

Diamond then visited her family when she was done. And her impromptu visit shocked them so much, but they were very thrilled to see her. They had a wonderful time together, and she broke the news about the house to them.

They were quite shocked, considering how short the time was between when she left and her impromptu arrival this time.

The next day, she took her family to check the villa, and they shed tears of joy at seeing the new place. After all, the place was big and epic. Something that they had never expected in their entire lives.

After checking the new house, the family began to pack their belongings. It took Diamond a long time to convince them to leave all unnecessary things and only pack the important stuff.

It took two days for the family to finally pack up everything that they deemed important and have it transported to the villa. The rest of the furniture was donated to earn some good karma for the family.

Diamond stayed with her family for two more days before leaving for Frin.

When she was walking out of the airport, she couldn't help but get drawn to a certain crowd.

[OMG! Is that ****?]

[I can't believe that I am seeing him like this!]

[He is so cool!]

[…]

Just listening to this, it was quite easy for Diamond to pick up the pieces and find who this person was. It was a celebrity, a famous actor, and somehow, she had seen this person on TV several times.

It's just that, in recent years, she had started to hate watching movies as everything in the movies was just fictional and all lies. Once upon a time, she lived in a fairy-tale and when she received a bad ending instead of a happy one; she began to hate them.

But hating movies didn't mean that she no longer watched TV, she still did but preferred to watch the news and some other shows.

However, looking at this, she couldn't help but smile slyly when she recalled about some rewards she had tossed in her study these past few months.

'Maybe, I should open my own entertainment company and use all that to earn some money. With more money, I can help a lot without feeling pressured.'

She didn't take much longer looking at the celebrity who was being protected heavily by the guards and made her way out to take care of business.

What she didn't know however was that someone saw her amusement and couldn't help but get interested in her.

'I wonder who she is!'

As for Diamond, she took a cab to Cherry Court and had a warm bath as soon as she arrived.

The next day, she drove to the farm as it had been a while since she went there and her presence was needed.

She talked with Cain for a long time, and she left some money that was needed. As for whether Cain would betray her and run away with her money, that was to be seen, but she believed strongly that the man would never do that. After all, she could see how intrigued Cain was at some things that she couldn't explain yet and the man was dedicated to farming.

The chickens were growing and it would be in a week or more before they were ready for slaughter.

Cain would be buying more chicks so that the chicken yard wouldn't be empty when the others get cleared out.

When she was at home, she locked herself in the study and began to draw up some plans about the future, and most importantly, it was about the building.

It was time for her to come up with plans on what to do with the building and she spent a long time on it.

In the morning, the first thing that she did after going to work was to check the floors once again and see whether there should be any changes to the plans that she had made the previous night.

After two hours of checking the building, she returned to her office, where she began to meet up with her employees.

After checking the reports they submitted, she held another meeting in the afternoon and it lasted until closing time.
