Chapter 25: Chapter 25. Shocking encounter.

Yangzhai, Han State.

Auther's POV

"Master... Ke... Zhejiang..." she shouted. Everyone went to the living room where Qi er was. "What's the wrong sister?..."And, what happened?... What's wrong with my daughter?..." they asked. She started crying.

Everyone was shocked.

"What is it, Qi er?" her husband asked again.

"Two men came to me. They were sent by father," she said, still crying.

"From Luo Yi?" Xu asked in disbelief.

"Yes, master. From father. They said that... This... These monsters captured my father. They are coming,"

"Where to?" Zhejiang shouted.

"They have already reached Luoyang. It takes half a day to travel from Luoyang to Yangzhai,"

"Sister, are you sure about this?" Zhejiang asked.

"Can you shut up?" said Jing Ke, angrily.

"Why? Sister, you have been missing uncle Luo Yi now, are you sure it's not your imagination?"

"Enough, Zhejiang." Jing Ke shouted as he extended his sword to Zhejiang. "Enough, Zhejiang. You have deceived us with your unreliable information. And now you suspect that my wife is mentally ill?" roared Jing Ke.

"Both, that's enough!" Mr. Xu shouted. "We don't have time to argue. Jing Ke, go tell the bandits to get ready. We only have half a day. Zhejiang and Qi er will come with me. I'll tell you what to do." Xu said.

Pragyan's POV.

We are going to Yangzhai, the capital of the Han State. I saw last night that the capital is in the eastern part of the state. Zheng told me there was only half a day left. I remembered what Sona used to say whenever she found my father talking about war and military matters.

She said:

"Put your sword back in its place! For all who take the sword will die by the sword."

I didn't understand her then. But I know I saw clearly what she said. "Please, Lord Rama, help me. I do not want to shed anyone's blood in this war. Let them surrender peacefully." I prayed in my heart. Last night I tried to convince Zheng by talking about democracy. But he didn't listen to me. But I cannot misjudge him. He has a point. Convincing point! That's why I couldn't convince him. Teaching democracy to society is not easy. Instead, I was convinced by the example of the calf. But how can we unite countries without war? I can't get it out of my head. I couldn't shake it after last night.

"We have arrived," Cheng Gu shouted. "General, we are now in Yangzhai," he added. I thought about how to continue the war for a while and ordered: "Cheng Gu, please bring me 5000 soldiers." This time, Zheng intervened.

"5000 soldiers? Isn't that too much, Pragya?" he asked.

"I know it's too much, but I'm trying not to get into a war," I explained.

"with 5000 soldiers?" he exclaimed.

"Look, your majesty, if we get more soldiers on board, Jing Ke and his team won't refuse to go along with anything we say. Because they know they will surely lose. Even if they refuse, the war will end in our favor."

He nodded. We went downtown. We quickly reached their house. I saw fear in each of them. I smiled.

Cheng Gu and I went to the porch of the house where the old man and Jing Ke were.

"We don't mean to offend anyone if you agree with us," I said to the old man.

"So what's your condition?" Jing Ke asked.

"You. You are our condition, Jing Ke?" I answered him, still looking into his eyes, sitting on my white horse. Cheng Gu was in his brown one. The girl appeared out of nowhere. She must be Wang Qi. Wang Luo Yi's daughter.

"You must be Wang Qi," I smiled. She is lovely. I feel bad for her for being a part of all this.

"Where is my father? Did you kill him? Tell me, what do you want from us?" she yelled. She was crying. She must be about 18-19 years old.

"Girl, I have no problem with you or your father. My problem is with Jing Ke,"

"What is your main problem with my husband?"

"Husband" I was shocked to hear that word. "Jing Ke is a criminal wanted by the king. Jing Ke, don't waste our time and energy. Give me your hand."

This time the old man said: "If you want this, you better forget it. Because I would rather die than give my son to your king," he said.

"Then don't blame us for the damage you are going to suffer." We went back to the army. "ATTACK!" I screamed. The next moment, the whole army ran towards the bandit forces in front of us.

Author's POV.

Gunsun Xu organized the bandits. Jing Ke, Gunsun Xu, and Gunsun Zhejiang prepared for war. "Jing Ke, it's not Zhejiang's fault," Xu said.

"What do you mean Master? He's the one who misinformed us," Jing Ke complained.

"It's not her fault, Ke. It's all the witch's work. She did it on purpose." Xu said.

"Master, do you think the woman did all this?" Zhejiang asked.

"Yes, Zhejiang. She wanted us to be like that. To fight each other so that she can easily defeat us. That, you were, right? This girl has military experience. I don't know where she came from. But all her ancestors must have been great warriors.

"My child, this incident makes me understand something. I don't have much time after that. Fortunately, as a soldier, I have seen a lot in my life. All these years I have discovered that unity is the main means of defeating the enemy. Don't break! You are brothers. As brothers, you should support each other, not blame each other. Whether I am alive or dead, do not forsake each other."

"Master, why do you say this now? You must live to see us defeat the king." Zhejiang said. "I didn't feel sorry. Jing Ke is my little brother," he added.

"I was a little emotional too." Jing Ke admitted his mistake. The two warriors hugged. But their happiness was short-lived. Qi er went into the house and said, "They are here," she said.

The three saw each other one last time, and Jing Ke and Mr. Xu went out.

A bloody war was fought between the bandits and the Imperial soldiers. Pragya tried to attack Jing Ke when he couldn't see him. But Zhejiang blocked his sword with his sword. Pragya saw a soldier blocking her way, her eyes widened… Her jaw dropped…. Her speech was lost. "S... S... Samrat!" she was completely shocked that she couldn't even defend herself. "Pragya!" shouted the king and blocked Zhejiang's Sword.

Cheng Gu attacked Zhejiang and they left Zheng and Pragya. "Are you okay?" Zheng asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. I am." But was she?
