Chapter 29: Chapter 29. I am pregnant!
Pragya's POV.
I don't even know where I am. The soldiers threw me somewhere I don't know. But one thing is certain, I am not in Qin State. They are ordered to throw me out of Qin State. The king hates me with the same intensity as he loved me. He wanted to crown me his queen, making me his wife, not his concubine. But I confessed all my sins in front of everyone. Although my sin was unforgivable, I asked for forgiveness. But only the emperor's mother supported me. She said I had a reason for my actions. But no one listened to him. All but the Empress Mother turned their faces away. Especially the king. I couldn't bear to see him so hurt by my actions.
He said, "Even though you are a witch, I respect the times we spent together. I don't dare to punish you for your crime," he said.
When he said that, my heart broke into a million pieces. The worst part was that I love him so much that I can't hate him. I have never loved anyone in my life as I love him. Not even Samrat. He was hard on me. His anger and rage were justified. Because he trusted me like he trusted no one. Even his own mother. But I broke that trust because of my emotional interest.
I want to undo what I did. But I can't travel back and fix my mistakes. But I don't care how much he hates me, I love him until the last moment. I can't be sure about the future, but I'm sure I won't give my heart to anyone. Not even Samrat!
As I looked around, I saw someone coming towards me on a horse. The horse was brown and graceful. As he approached me, I realized it was Jing Ke. He immediately dismounted, bowed, and greeted me,

I was grateful to him. I had no other choice either. So I decided to go with him to Han State. To be honest, I was afraid of Zhejiang. But Jing Ke assured me that I was safe with them. I trusted him.

"When I returned home, Qi er was on the verge of happiness. She told me she was four months pregnant," he laughed. He reacts like a child. I remember how I reacted when I heard that I was going to be a mother.
"I'm happy for you, Ke," I congratulated him. A child brings joy and happiness to the home. When it was half day, we reached their house. Qi er and Zhejiang greeted me differently this time. They welcomed me happily. Gunsun Zhejiang apologized to me for what he did the other day. I stayed with them for two days. Sometimes I had stomach pains, but everything was fine and I was happy with them.
Nature was so amazing, the windy air mesmerized my mind. The green field seems endless. The children ran here and there. The sunset took me to another world I had never been to before. I felt as if I saw the goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and beauty, within the setting sun. I enjoy nature.
I remembered Sona's words. She always amazed me with her words. I don't know where she finds them. I used to get bored when she started lecturing me. But now I realize that whether she realizes it or not, her words matter in this world.
When I was so worried by Mehek, she said this:
** "Look at the birds in the sky: they do not sow, they do not reap, they do not gather their barn, but the Lord of the sky feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they are?"** she said. I didn't pay her any mind then. But now that I think about it calmly, she's right. I am more valuable than them. I have willpower.
Thinking about Sona and her wonderful words, I didn't notice it when Jing Ke came. "Ke, are you here? When did you come?" I asked.
"Nature fascinates you," he said. "Hmm," I hummed. "I have good news that might lift your spirits," he said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I have a place for you to stay forever," he said with a smile.
"Where?" I asked impatiently.
"Yao State," he replied.
He told me I could trust this man. He told me he was a businessman. He sells embroidery. I was glad it all ended well. Even the people who lost their beloved masters because of me turned out to be good to me. By God's grace, everything will be alright.
I thought about Zheng for a moment. What condition would he be in? I stayed with them that night. They are really good people. I went to the kitchen to help Qi er. Since she is pregnant, I have to help her. But the smell of firewood was too much. I felt nauseous again. Vomiting, I ran out of the house. Qi er, confused, followed me. "Sister Pragya, are you alright?" she asked.
"Yes, I am, Qi er. My stomach often hurts. Don't worry, I'll be fine," I reassured her.
"How are you now?" she asked anxiously.
"I'm fine, Qi er. I think it's the smell of firewood. Sometimes I feel nauseous. But don't worry, the pain will go away soon, Qi er," I said.

I went back into my mind and remembered my wild but sweet moments with Zheng. She is right! There are many possibilities that I could be pregnant. Am I really pregnant? yes, I am.
