Chapter 6: Chapter 6 (edited)

Ray attempted to open his eye's but a piercing headache welded his eyelids shut.

"What happened." Ray groaned as he pried his eyes open, a room decorated in blood and guts welcomed him as he slowly recuperated his memories. After looking at the Cyndaquil next to him the memories of the battle from earlier resurfaced.

'''This really is the apocalypse''' Ray whispered as he propped himself up. Not even a day had passed an he'd almost died, this was enough for him to snap into realization that he'd been to complacent. If he hadn't finished the tutorial 8th there's no guarantee he could've beat that monster. As Ray was thinking about the previous events a memory flashed in his mind, He surely should have received a reward for killing that monster.

"System open inventory." Ray demanded, He couldn't wait to see what reward he got for risking his life and almost dying.

* Stats I Shop I Party I Mail (0) I Quest I Info I Friends I 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 I *

15x Pokeball

1x Justice faction outfit

* *

'The Pokéballs are nice but what's the second thing?' Ray pondered, and as per usual the system answered.

* Justice faction outfit *

An outfit made specially for those

that follow the path of hero.

- Auto clean

- Self Repair

- Ability: intimidate

(can only be used against humans from the villain faction)

"Not bad," Ray muttered thoughtlessly, It was in fact not bad. In most apocalypse scenario hygiene can rarely be taken care of, but with this it'd clean by its self. Not only would it clean itself it would also repair its self when it got torn. It had no flaws! 'I'm not sure what the ability does but we'll cross that road when we get there."

Ray clicked on the item and a trench coat plopped on the floor.

"That's Amazing!" Ray said as he put the trench coat on. As soon the coat was fully on he made his to the door. As he was moved his hand to turn the knob the door swung open causing Ray to step back. A boy was on the other side of the door, a blue crocodile next to him.

"Ray?" The boy asked, a hint of disbelief apparent on his face.

"Mikah!?" Ray shrieked, he'd assumed Mikah died against the Houndoom.

""Your alive!?"" They said in unison, it was truly a miracle. A retched beast appeared and they both assumed the other had died to it.

"Where's the Houndoom?" Mikah questioned his mouth still open from the shock.

"You'd never guess," Ray said a smirk on his face. Mikah hadn't expected Ray to be able to beat the Houndoom but Mikah also hadn't known the level of the Houndoom in the first place.

"You must've chosen Totodile then." Mikah assumed, to him killing a Houndoom with any other type seemed improbable. But Ray didn't answer, instead opting to take out his Cyndaquil.

"There's no way," Mikah blurted out unintentionally, fire was resistant to fire but he still couldn't imagine a Houndoom losing to a Cyndaquil.

"It's pretty impressive I know, Taking on a level 10 at level 6 is quite the task." Ray snickered.

"Wait it was level 10..." Mikah said in a disappointed tone, He had a level 15 Totodile he could've fainted the Houndoom with ease. But the past is in the past. "Fortune really does favor the bold." Mikah mumbled.

"Where'd you get the coat?" Mikah said in an attempt to change the subject.

"It was a quest reward for fainting the Houndoom," Ray replied, In the few minutes he'd been wearing it he grew very fond of it. Even making sure that the sigil imprinted on the lapel of the trench coat was squeaky clean.

"Your so lucky," Mikah scoffed. He to wanted such a fancy coat.

"Say's you who has two Pokémon!" Ray retorted while pointing at the blue and yellow animals playing with each other. Mikah simply shrugged before beginning to walk somewhere.

"Dude where are you going?" Ray asked as tried to catch up with the speed walking Mikah.

"Let's go get something to eat, It's been hours since lunch." Mikah answered, if you listened closely you could hear a grumble coming from his stomach.

"Hours? was I out that long?" Ray questioned mostly to himself.

"What do you mean 'out'?" Mikah questioned, as far as he knew Ray had spent that time completing the tutorial and fighting Houndoom.

"I'll tell you later" Ray replied as they hurried to the cafeteria. But before they could make it to the cafeteria something indescribable happened.

This chapter was kind of boring to write but I managed to get it done. I know there aren't as many words as usual but the lack of action in this chapter made it hard for me to finish, This was definitely the most boring chapter so far. Just like usual comment your ideas and thoughts, and have a Happy new years!
