Chapter 26: Fairy 24.1: Meeting with the blond-haired boy.
In a dark room, stood a young boy. A boy that seems to be around 14 or 15 years old. Of course, this young man or boy, with the dark blue hair coloured as the night's sky, and grassy green eyes. Is in fact, Zack Smasher, who also happened to be completely naked in this dark room.
"Huh? W-Why I am younger…?" Zack asked himself, as he wanted to summon his Status to confirm his age. However, no matter how many times he tried, his Status never shown itself. Which only made Zack more confused, until he realised what's happening.
"Is this by any chance… a dream?" Zack askes himself that with a startled look. After all, it been about 3 years since he had his last dream. That's right, it been about a year since Zack Smasher has left Fairy Tail, and 3 years since he came to this world. (And a year to go for the original canon begins.)
That is why he is surprised. The guild master, Makarov, did tell Zack about the fact he talks in his dreams. And even asked Zack questions about his dreams. However, Zack himself doesn't even remember them. No matter how he tired, he cannot recall anything about those dreams.
That is why he cannot help to asked himself.
Will he also forget about this dream as well? Or maybe will he be able to remember it, or least Zack hopes he does. Since he does want to know more about his own dreams. However, Zack put those thoughts to the back of his mind. As he focusses on more what is around him, besides the fact, if he be able to remember this dream or not when he does wake up.
The first thing that Zack notices. While he looked around this dark place. The only thing he can see in this place of pure darkness, was dim lights. Which those very little sources of light pointed towards some kind of hallway. Which for some reason, the little sources of light within the endless darkness of the hallway, gives off some kind of ominous feeling to this place.
However, this place feels oddly familiar to Zack, as he walked down the dark hallway, only to see at the end of this hallway, lies a single door. And light can be seen through the gaps of that very door.
Curious about this door may lead to. Zack walked before it, and when he was about to open that dull looking door… something, or someone's voice stopped Zack from opening that very door.
"I wouldn't open that door, if I am you. Of course, that is unless you want to become something, or someone you shouldn't be." A familiar voice sounded behind Zack. As Zack himself, knew he had heard this voice before.
But when Zack tired to remember where he heard that voice before. That answer was soon answered, as Zack turned around, only to have his grassy green eyes widen, when he saw whose is there.
And that person, the owner of that voice, was a little boy with blond hair, and blue eyes. That is a head shorter compared to the current Zack. And Zack himself knew who this blond-haired boy is, the very same boy that appeared in his first and only dream he had, ever since coming to this world.
"It's you…?" Zack went in shock seeing who he is.
"Yep, I am the one and only~ But to think you make it here this fast… It seems, I need to put in more effort, if you reach this place. You simply not ready to enter what lies behind that door, you need to mature more to know what lies behind there." The boy went with his smile, that seems playful, and yet sly at the same time.
"What you mean by that… don't tell me… you the reason why I cannot remember my dreams…?" Zack asked that, feeling many complicated emotions, as he looked at the young boy before him.
"Oh, as expected from you~! You already figured it out, well, it's really no biggie, after all, like I just said. You not ready to know what lies behind that door, or those other dreams." Went the blond-haired boy with a smile.
"Aren't they my dreams…!? What do you mean I am not ready, not ready for what exactly!?" Zack said that with rage, knowing those dreams are the only source to knew who he really is. And to think, the reason why he cannot remember this, is this boy before him.
How can he not be upset by this?
"Oh my, what is this~? Are you by chance, mad? Trust me, you shouldn't be. After all, once you learn what lies behind that door. Everything you know and see will change for the worst. That's why, before you see what lays behind that door. You need to become someone else completely, and don't doubt yourself, when you see the truth. Don't worry, it wouldn't be long. After all this is my 'wish'."
When the blond-haired boy said that. He snapped his fingers before Zack could say anything. Who become more confused, as their surroundings changed into something like a living room. With a flat tv, leather sofa and brownish wallpaper, and grey carpet.
Seeing the room, Zack didn't understand where he is. But he felt safe, as well familiar with this place. As he cannot helped to look around, and noticed several pictures, but most of their faces are blurry. Making him unable to see what's their faces look like.
"Normally I will offer some coffee, shame enough, this is only a dream, first thing first, why don't you take a seat?" With a smile, the blond-haired body offer Zack a seat, while himself seat on one of the leather sofas, and Zack did the same, and sat cross him.
"I will only answer one question, but that's it. But before I do, you had to listen to my story?" Said the blond-haired boy.
"Fine…" Zack said.
"Once upon a time ago, lived a young boy. The young boy was born into a broken household and didn't have many friends at school. But needless to say, that didn't mean the boy didn't have any friends. Only a few. And among them, and his first and best friend at that. Was an odd one, who liked to call himself an Otaku, even if he nothing more than a geek, or anime geek to be right. Actually, they both means the same thing… never mind about that.
The thing is, the young boy was interested in anime and manga as well, and his first and best friend introduce him to several titles. And even lend the boy his phone, so the two could watch and read anime and manga together.
At first, the boy from the broken household wasn't interested. Since it wasn't in English, however before he knew it. He often to found himself jealous and envied those so-called anime worlds. The reason why he envied them so much, was very simple. He wished he also could escape onto an adventure or have power to fight back his fate.
However, something happened to the young boy. Something that made him unable to be free himself from his broken household. And that was his mother given birth to his little sisters."
When the boy said that. For some reason, Zack cannot help to recall about those two blond haired twin girls, that were also in that dream, alongside with this blond boy in front of him.
"In all of his life, he finally has a purpose, something to protect. He never felt anything like that, even those dark and sicky desires the young boy has. Also begun to dwell, as he has someone that important to him. However, never once he expected the 'thing' he called father, begun to look at them not as his own daughters. But no as subjects of lust. Let me ask you this, Zack, what is lust?" Asked the blond boy.
"Lust…? I don't know." Zack honestly said.
"Oh really? Even if you already experienced it." Teased the blond boy said.
"I did…?" Zack tilted his head in confusion.
"Mirajane… you felt something different than normal, it was a feeling to hold her, to kiss her lips. And even unknowingly go to the next level." Said the blond boy.
"Next level…? Wait, you been watching me…?" Zack went, feeling alarmed, since he also knows about Mirajane and him.
"Of course, I had… after all, the thing you wanted to know the most, is who I am, is that your question, isn't it? There is no need to hide it, it nearly impossible to hide anything from me. After all, we both the one and the same. That is who I am, I am you, or should I call myself, the old you."
When the blond boy, or the Old Zack said that. Zack himself felt many different emotions. He always wanted to know who he is. And to think the one that stopping him remembering, is actually himself?

You might notice the "A" next to Fairy 24, right?
Truth to be told, when I proofread Fairy (Chapter) 24, I made the chapter too long. After all, the word count on this fanfic is 1,400 ~ 2,000 per chapter. That why I had no choice to create two parts when I proofread this.
Anyway, I am back, and as promised, I am beginning to proofread these 40+ chapters for my first fanfic. As for my DxD fanfic? I don't know, I might re-edit some bits to it, or not. And I might or may not go back there.
Another thing… which is the most important thing. Due to the government ending fix rates on gas and electricity bills. And because I am from a poor household. Counting how things go, I might have to stop posting or even writing anything for my fanfics…
So don't be surprised if I stopped all the sudden. There is nothing I can do about that…
Anyway, thanks for reading my fanfic again. And remember to follow/add to library if you like this! And sorry for the grammar, it not my thing…
Another thing to note, I hasn't re-uploaded them yet, but I had re-proofread over half of vol.1, edited some of the errors and grammar mistakes, like Ezra into her proper name, Erza, don't blame me, Word doesn't like Erza! And always under redline her name… and yes, it is my fault of not double checking her name was right, and just blindly believed in Word's judgement.
So yeah, don't be shocked, if you notice in the next few days or weeks, when you re-read this fanfic, some or many of the chapter's content has been changed.
