Chapter 167: 167. A Funny Taste

Mauve brought her uninjured hand to her face. To say she was embarrassed was an understatement. It didn't help that Jael never took his eyes off her face, every time she opened her eyes he was staring down at her.

Now that she saw him do that there was no way she would be able to look him in the eye. Her body still tingled from the aftermath and she knew she was flushed all over.

She felt movement and peeked out of the middle of her finger to see Jael in a sitting position. She felt him wipe her clean and Mauve closed her eyes shut.

He adjusted her underwear and carefully lifted her waist. Mauve jerked when his cold hands touched the small of her back.

"Relax," he said. She could hear the amusement in his voice.

"I am," she said under her breath. It's not her fault his touch made her jittery. She could literally feel the intention behind them.
