Chapter 10: CHAPTER 10
I am currently watching the live feed of Uncle Tony and it looked like he will be getting out of that cave soon. I wear my Freed suit and directly teleported inside to where Uncle Tony is.
Tony POV
I was doing final tuning on my Mark l armor and out of nowhere A man in suit of armor appeared. I immediately grab a wench beside me to use as a weapon. Yinsen also stood by my side holding a steel bar. It raises it's Hand seem to convey that he is not hostile. I still did not let my guard down and asked a question.
"Who are you and why are you here?" I asked. While pointing the wench to it like I was holding a sword.
"Me? I am just here to confirm that you can make it out alive here." The man in suit armor answered.
"What do mean me leaving here alive" I responded, "What about Yinsen? Do you not have any plan for him" while pointing to Yinsen.
"Mr. Stark I am only here for and about him it's up to him whether he wants to continue to Live or Die here. "The man in suit armor told us, Mr. Stark why don't you ask your friend over there if he wants to live and I will only observe, I will only interfere if your life in danger while you use that piece of armor to escape here."
I looked at Yinsen directly and asked. "Yinsen you're coming out alive here with me and meet your family and live with them, right?
Yinsen just look at me not knowing how to respond. A minute later he started to talk "Stark, my family is already dead. He sat down looking down on the ground.
I could not find any word to respond I was just looking at him don't know what to do. I want to say comforting words to him but I cannot open my mouth to him.
"Yinsen you're coming with me, right?" I asked, I know it was selfish in my part and I was finally able to find a true friend.
Yinsen didn't respond immediately like he was conflicted on what he wanted. "Tony, I am coming here out alive and beyond that I don't know."
I nodded, smiled because at least there is still a chance for me to change his mind. I look at the man in suit armor. "There you have it, the answer you need." I told him. He just nodded and I immediately got into Mark I and I directed Yinsen on what he needs to do.
A moment later started banging the steel door and ordered us to open the door. The moment they opened the door it exploded because the trap we set up before and now we are full exposed for any intruders. I saw the man in suit armor stood in front of the door where it used to be and he said. "I hold them off for a while until you're toy is finished." He took a futuristic pistol and he aimed and fired at the ground in front of him and at that place the ground started rising until it completely blocked the path.
The Mark I is already operational and I immediately headed but I could not go on. I looked at him and he fired again and result is completely opposite. I lead to going out this cave, punch anybody that is hindering us and Yinsen is a few steps behind me in case a stray bullet hit him. When I saw that it was only we are close going out I was momentary distracted.
"Stark dodge" Yinsen shouted. I bend down to my side and I saw where it came from and who fired it. It was the head of this base and I immediately fired back on my own but it just hit the wall behind him and he passed out unscathed. Before we complete got out The man in suit armor said that he take out with him Yinsen wait for me a few kilometer out here. He carried Yinsen in his shoulder and He tapped his belt he started and floating then started flying out here. For a moment I stared then I head outside.
I used my flamethrower to burn everything outside and any moment now the missiles and bomb stored here will blow up so I punched the button in my arm and fly my way out here. When I was high enough the booster in my foot gone off and I started falling. When I was few meters above ground fortunately that guy slowed the momentum just enough for me to crashed safely but only few pieces of my Mark I remained when I crashed the ground and I took it off.
That Man then pointed in front of us "Walk straight ahead an hour later the military will find you there." He said then he started flying up and disappeared in our sights.
Fortunately, what he said is true and Rhodes found out brought us to the military base and after we arrived I and Yinsen were treated for a while in the base and we took a bath and change clothes and I boarded the plane together with Rhodes heading back to States. Yinsen stayed back because he wanted to return to Gulmira to his town.
We arrived and I saw Pepper and Happy waiting and another man at the back of Happy. I headed in front of Pepper. "Your eyes are red and you miss your boss?" I said. "Tears of Joy, I hate job hunting" Pepper relied. We headed to the car Me and Pepper are the back seat and Happy is in the driver seat and another man was in the in front seat. I think he is a new bodyguard that Pepper hired.
"Where to boss?" Happy asked. "Head to the hospital we need to Tony to have a full body check-up" Pepper replied immediately.
"No Pepper" I said. "I was captive for 3 months and I want to do things that I'd miss. First, Chess burger and a Cola. Second,"
"Tony No" Pepper Interrupted me. "No its not what you think. I want to have a press conference" I added "Cheese Burger first."
The car was on the road when the man in the front seat said. "Uncle Tony you've changed." "and who the hell are you? Don't call me uncle we don't know each other." I responded. "Uncle its me Theo, I even skipped school to welcome you home but you could not recognize me" Theo looked at me with a sad expression and shake his head "It seemed Uncle has his eyes-only Sister Pepper."
"Theo stop messing around with your uncle" Pepper reprimanded Theo while hiding her embarrassment.
I just shrugged and "Theo you became a little handsome but compared to me I am still better than you"
At the Press conference
After I finish eating the burger while I was still sitting, I took the mic that Uncle Obadiah handed to me "I am back, I realized that people will remember the weapons I created and what It will inflict to others. So I am closing the weapons department effective immediately. Stane took the mic to me while trying to save the situation. I walked out and headed home.
End of Tony POV
We arrived in uncle Tony villa in California. I just have a brief talk with uncle Tony and headed home because I already knew what will happened from now on. I arrived at home and asked Alfred to open account on my behalf and red queen will help him what kind of stock to buy. I already confirmed that the Maximoff twins are indeed the children of Magneto but both of them don't know. After the Maximoff twins born its biological mother died while giving birth. but the head doctor and Head nurse that operated in its child birth. because the couple could not conceive a child, they took the chance to adopt the twins until couple died in Hydra backhand in Sokovia. Now the Twins are in the Lab of Hydra in Sokovia they already awakened their X-gene. It seemed they still blame Uncle Tony and starting I will start moving in the Dark. I will rescue the twins and when scepter It arrive, I will absorb some of its power give it to the twins I really want to see if they were going to be stronger. I will gradually contact them through their dream it that way it's easier and maybe I can train them inside their dream. I will only take them out a year before New York war. After the New York war I will rescue and free the widows from red room but I cannot completely destroy it maybe I can change its ways like focusing in information gathering but there no point in thinking in what I have to do about the widows there still a lot of time to think.
