The dark candles around the altar had somehow surrounded Caius who was still screaming his lungs out, while the red candles were now finding their way moving through the floor closer and closer to the witch who had her hands spread out and was casting the spell on the kid. There was an imaginable amount of pain racking through his body, and his eyes were bloodshot red.

His injuries seemed to have also been triggered by the spell she was casting, and so much blood was running down from the injuries that had been Inflicted on him. Then, drops of the blood pooling out began floating higher, following the light coming from the moon. Caius was in a lot of pain, and his body was quaking vigorously. But the witch didn't stop what she was doing.
