Chapter 73: Punishment (11)

Prince Algis had been standing before His Majesty for some time. He was not allowed to speak. However, this was the punishment for Prince Algis suddenly opening the door to the King's office and abruptly ending the meeting. 

"Father..." Prince Algis had to speak. The longer it took, the more the stress level of the knight in the dungeon increased. Prince Algis remembered the explosion at Varden Fortress when Cyril was measuring magic power. 

"I did not give you permission to speak, Prince!" His Majesty quickly stopped Prince Algis' attempt to speak. He closed his eyes for a moment, unwilling to look directly at his son who had gone too far. He wanted to meet the knight who had made his son what he was. His Majesty wanted to judge the talent of this knight himself. 

"Father, please listen to me first!" Prince Algis forced himself to speak.
