Chapter 60: Chapter 59.
Zach's POV.
"Alright who's first." I mumbled as I made sure that my gun was loaded.
Didn't want to go into an intense firefight with an empty gun. That would be just plain stupid to do.
Noting that everything that I had on me to fight with was in order I moved from the spot that i was at and headed towards the now grouped up Black Death members.
I wanted to be closer to them when I initiated the attack.
I waited for the right moment, a few seconds later it was time. The closest person to me was looking around half assed so I took advantage of that and pounced on him.
With my knife in hand, I barreled into my enemy, knocking him to the ground. In one swift motion before he could even scream out to his allies, I thrusted m knife upwards into the underside of his jaw.
Stabbing him though the head.
"Cough. Cough." He coughed up mouthfuls of blood as he slowly faded into hell.
There was no other place he was going besides hell. Guys like him and I weren't granted the luxury of getting into heaven.
Not wasting any more time, I moved onto to my next enemy. Like I said I wasn't going to go down without a fight.
I moved fast as lightning, not even bothering to clean my knife before it found the backside of a black death member coming around a bush.
"Ahh! Fuck, he is over here!" The man yelled before I had the chance to cover his mouth, alerting everyone that was looking for me.
"Shit" I said as I stabbed his back a few more times, making sure that he was dead as well as taking out some frustration on him.
"Stab. Stab. Stab."
After venting my anger, I quickly rolled his body off of me and bolted back into he brushes. Trying my best to quickly hide my presence. However, I wasn't fast enough adn was spotted by the enemy as I dove into the bushes.
"There he is!"
"Over here!"
"Bang! Bang!"
Without wasting any time, as soon as they found me, they immediately opened fire. One of their bullets just barely missed me, one however got me in the back of the thigh.
"Ahh! Fuck!"
I screamed out as I furiously crawled to safety. Wherever I could find it. The pain was unbearable, but I had to push through it. Biting my lower lip hard I aimed my pistol blindly.
I just shot at where the bullets came from and hoped one of them would get lucky and hit them.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
"Shit!"
I fired three rounds of my precious little ammo. It seemed that at least one bullet got lucky and hit one of the goons.
I don't know where I hit. I didn't want to waste time trying to find out either. I jumped back out of my hiding spot, towards the enemy with my knife in hand.
I stabbed him in the shoulder causing him to drop his gun. His buddy turned towards us aiming his pistol, finger on the trigger.
I moved the guy that I stabbed in the should over my body just as the bullets left the others gun. Th bullets sank into his comrade shielding me from their path. I took my knife out quickly and barrel rolled to the side out of the enemy's immediate line of fire.
I took aim with my pistol as soon as my feet fell flat and fire one last shot directly at his head. My aim was true and both enemies were now lifeless on the ground.
My heart racing in excitement.
