Chapter 145: War of the Snow Mountains Final Part: All Out Carnage

(General POV)

Location Nord Sector, Eldar World-Ymir, outer snowfields of the Mountains of the Shi'lanorai/Battlefield Carnage Shi'lanorai Vs. Loyal Shi'lanorai

The horns of war have been blown, and the secret gate on the side of the Shi'lanorai Mountain was opening wide, showing a few glimpses of the full might of the Shi'lanorai loyalist army.

This sight excited the Bloodstained Snow Beasts, for this is all they have craved even before they joined Chaos, or their princess made their force...a true war.

But none was more eager and excited than the ice princess herself, Crystallyl Shik'Adammine mounted on her trusted Carnage corrupted mount Frongfang, were waiting for their enemy responsible for all their kind slavery and docile manipulation by the alderi.

Resting her great ice-axe over her shoulder, feeling Frostfang figit with anticipation under her to not only continue the carnage but finally kill the one responsible for this crime to the shi'lanorai.

Her former father and king, Emrril Shik'Adammine, as the secret, massive front gates of the Shi'lanorai kingdom, was opening wider exposing more of the heavily armored loyalist forces ranging from more ice warriors, veteran royal guards whose name described their roles entirely, older snow hunters, crystal wraiths, and more all ready and stand behind their king garbed, in royal, ornate, battle armor with his sword Frozen Dragon tightly in his right hand.

With the gate doors now firmly open and the thousands of shi'lanorai warriors loyal to the old crown ready for battle, as the few dozen surviving ice warriors from the previous engagement rush to join the king and the rest of his forces.

The two Shi'lanorai forces were standing before the other waiting for the other to make a move and thus start this battle officially.

Crystallyl even admitted in her mind that the cowards do have some semblance of warriors, she and her warriors were eager to slaughter them, in the name of their Dark God.

That's when King Shik'Adammine, raised his sword slightly, pointing it at his enemy, his former daughter and with a commanding voice order his warriors, to attack with a great battle cry they charged ahead of their king, as he never turned his gaze from Crystallyl who was smiling with twisted joy all this time.

Seeing his army charging at Crystallyl's forces of the Bloodstained Snow Beasts, she let out a happy, filled laugh looking at the sky as she pointed her twisted ice-axe at his forces signaling the advance, officially making both sides fighting and as a king, he responded in kind drawing close his blade, grasping it with both arms and charging forward through the snow, as the winds made his blue cape flap and the battle has once again started in this civil war of Frost Eldars.

As the battle began and both Carnage and Loyalist Factions of the shi'lanorai started to clash, when some distance away from the battle...

On top of a snow hill, a ripple was occurring on the air of Ymir, sparks of light bright purple were surging through the air growing in power and intensity.

Crystallyl and her warriors while at midst of combat, clashing against the loyalist with extreme bloodlust and aggression they all felt the surging power of Carnage near them, that's when an older snow hunter with an almost completely shaven head, and scruffy beard pounce on her, a pair of short ice-axes raised to strike only for her to block with such force behind her swing that she knocked the loyalist hunter to the snow-covered ground.

Growling at her as the veteran snow hunter got slowly back on his feet only to feel a sharp pain course through his chest, and cough up a lot of blood as he dropped his weapons, and was lifted up to the air by Frongfang who impaled him with his horn while he was trying to stand before.

The blood flowed out and down the saber like horn of Frostfang as Crystallyl petted him for a good job, looking at the pitiful dying bug before her Crystallyl grabbed him by the neck and using her shi'lanorai super strength to pull the dying loyalist off her beast's horn...slowly.

Squeezing the life away of the weakling in her grasp, as he choked in her grip, and bleed from the huge wound in his chest condercy of her sweet, Frongfang.

But Crystallyl didn't have the time to enjoy the slow method while at the midst of a battle, so she settled with crushing his throat killing him as the other followers of Alka'lkarnak (Laharl) were close to appearing she had to distract her weak of a former father and his forces, tossing aside the dead loyalist snow hunter she pulled the reign of Frongfang and rode into middle of all the fighting, seeing her charging to the center her Snow Hunters followed their princess into the thrall of utter carnage.

All over kin was slaughtering one another, as the bloodstained snow beasts were slashing and tearing every single loyalist that they faced, the snow hunters and the cryowitches of the princess were particularly more bloody, and ruthless in comparison with their fellow snow beasts.

Ice-claws and axes cut and tear into the loyalist Shi'lanorai, staining these warriors and the snow below with fresh blood, as the cryowitches and mages unleashed shards of icicles, ice needles, and spikes all around the battlefield riddling their enemies with holes, but the royal army wasn't defenseless or weak.

With the years of experience and the added morale of fighting beside their king, the royal army fought back with courage and strength.

As King Shik'Adammine was fighting against the shi'lanorai that serve under his traitorous, mad daughter, these ice warriors charged at him with great savage fury and bloodlust their ice-axes eager to taste his blood and take his life...but regardless of what the king has done he was a mighty warrior and still is.

Seeing his opponents rush at some of his royal guards tried to intervene, but King Shik'Adammine stopped them, ordering them to fight and stop worrying about him for in this battle he isn't royalty instead he is a warrior, with his frost ghostsword Frozen Dragon held high he charged forward, making the Carnage corrupt ice warriors get excited and hasten their rush at the king and in a few short moments they clashed.

The moment they were in the veteran king's range, he unleashed his great power he sealed away during these long years of peace...

With the ghostsword Frozen Dragon, unconsciously enhancing his power and what shi'lanorai considered sorcery to be actually a unique form of psyker-craft he swung his blade releasing a massive vertical wave of razor-sharp icicles and ice spikes in response of the Frozen Dragon's swing.

Impaled and actually freezing a Shi'lanorai was impossible to them, but the materials used on the king's blade make all of this possible, having slain his first enemies he ordered his royal guard to fight as he charges through the snow straight in the heat of battle.

As the royal guards finally listened to their king's command and rushed ahead of him to join the others in battle, the loyalist ice warriors were cleaving through the more savage snow hunters and the traitors amongst the crystal wraith archers as their stronger armor, and more refined weaponry as the bloodstained snow beasts refuse to add wraithbone to any of their gear but the veterans and older generations of frost eldars, swallowed much of their pride to forge and use these shi'lanorai ice wraith-weapons.

As the loyalists' weapons easily broke through the snow beasts ice armor as great ice-axes chopped of limbs and head bathing the snow in gore and warm, fresh blood or these weapons greatly cleaved through the bodies of the traitors exposing internal organs, veins, muscle, and other levels of gore from the brutalized corpses of carnage snow hunters, crystal wraiths, and some ice warriors.

While the Bloodstained Snow Beasts were younger and more savage than the hated older generations, the power and favor they're received/receiving from the "Void Lord" Alka'lkarnak (Laharl) was making up for their lack of experience.

This very dark power of Carnage mostly manifested within the princess herself or her newest members of her force, the crystal wraiths.

Speaking of these shi'lanorai archers, they were killing many of the princess' enemies shooting ice and/or shadow arrows at the loyalist, one of the crystal wraith rushing and swaying through the enemies, dodging all attacks aim at him as he pulled his bow string and shot at the weak/exposed points of his enemy's armor.

Shooting at a loyalist twice in the side of the neck with ice arrows that pierced through the other side of the frost eldar's neck as he made some gargling sounds before dropping dead on the snow, another that swung and missed his axe swipe not only received several shadow arrows to the belly a snow huntress spotting the injured loyalist snuck from behind a drove her one of her ice-axes at the left side of the ice warrior's neck, nearly decapitating him but still brutally killed him.

All around the snow-covered battlefield, carnage and bloodshed was overflowing, Crystallyl was enjoying every moment of this slaughter feeling the ruinous power of Carnage, growing and surging through her very being as old loyalist snow hunter tried to attack her from behind, only to meet her Skathi's cold ice blade across the head crushing and cleaving nearly through the head of the now dead snow hunter, Crystallyl did this brutal kill without turning towards her wannabe killer, still looking over the progress of the battle surrounded by mutilated corpses, one that was being eaten by her dear companion Frostfang, she flicked the blood off her weapon and laughed with soo much twisted joy.

This was exhilarating for her, praising the Dark One more and more as the battle became more intense, plus it seem the litteral carnage that was unfolding in this battle was about to get even greater, as she sensed the still surging power of Carnage over the hill behind them.

Returning to said snow hill, the chaotic energies of the Warp were intensifying as sparks of light bright purple, maroo, black, and grey were surging through the air, tearing through the fabric of Realspace, opening a massive portal rift.

Surging out that portal came out a large army emanating a lot of aminosity, bloodlust, and killer intent along with an untold amount of vile, malignant power.

Leading this new force was the C'hartari Matriarch, and Chaos Champion of Carnage, Jar Zera'val behind her were the several forces of Carnage, c'hartari warriors, gunners, dark seers, and psykers, just behind then were the six carnage empowered stone colossie of Infernals stomping through the snow, utterly menacing and brutality.

As these hundreds of initial forces cross over to the shi'lanorai's territory followed by the next mayor part of these mortal followers of the Dark God, Alka'lkarnak/Laharl.

Several hundreds of the creatures created by the Dark Lady, Scalpel Bleedinhart, called the Flesh Horrors the most ambondant and the main infantry of the flesh horrors being the techo-organic ghouls called Husks, followed by several dozens of cybernetically reanimated orkish brutes called Flesh Gorrs.

Next in the flesh horrors' forces were the arachnid like multi-women body made creatures with high level of intellect and highly weaponized, while their the less in number they're still couple of these fem-creatures called Bio-crafters, skittering around the snow making sounds acting as commands leading the rest of their kind onto the battlefield right behind the C'hartari forces.

Last of the flesh horrors to cross through the portal was the colossal monster centipede like horror, known as the Dreadpede skittering fast across the snow, passing by it fellow flesh horrors, surpassing them all and started firing it high power laps-cannons already at the loyalist forces of the shi'lanorai, the bright red laser beam cut through several loyalist ice warriors, but the biggest damage came with the laps-laser struck ground exploding and killing more of the royal army in the energy burst.

This action of great destruction provoked great excitement and amusement from the Bloodstained Snow Beasts, as Crystallyl laughed before raising her Skathi into the air calling back all her warriors to fallback and reorganize, as they not only got a large number of reinforcements but they were strong and fellow worshippers of Alka'lkarnak, but also like minded as them.

Hearing their princess command, the snow beast fell back as the Carnage forces still charged ahead with several hundred more troops crossing through the rift, Crystallyl easily recognized these creatures...they are the short, dirty green skinned hellions she and her snow beasts slaughtered in Azir'Ymir some time ago only drastically more in number, and dressed properly for the intense temperature of Ymir.

The loyal followers of Adrak'Maal and the Havoc Queen, Jade, the gobos were madly rushing out the portal that once the last of them crossed through it, it immediately closed.

The Gobos eager for anarchy, carnage, and blood immediately started shooting at the royal army of frost eldars, bullets, bolt rounds, laps-fire, explosives, rockets and more soared across the Ymirian air, this barrage tore and blew through the loyalists forcing the king to order his warriors to back away out the enemy's range as the too reorganize for a counterattack.

Once Crystallyl and her warriors rediveue with Jar Zera'val's forces, she turned Frostfang around staring at her weak father's forces, having stopped their pursuit.

All the while, the mortal Carnage forces joined into one massive army to conquer and corrupt the rest of the Shi'lanorai and claim this territory for Chaos, Jar Zera'val stood next to Crystallyl as the two Carnage-touched women ordered the assault to begin and with it true all out carnage has begun!
