Chapter 2: Second Date
" Ok ok ok. . . I'm sorry. . . thanks for being here ", she said as she walked to the bathroom.
" No probs "
It took about twenty minutes to take her bath and wash her hair. She stepped out of the bathroom with a white robe which had 'CJ ' embroidered on the top left of the robe.
She had a towel in hand which she used to dry her long curly wet red hair.
In her bedroom, Trinity and Charlie were sitting on the cushion at the extreme by the top to floor window chatting about their shopping plans. Charlotte walked over to them, sat down on the chair opposite them then using a fork, she took some scrambled eggs and put in her mouth.
" That was quick. I wasn't expecting you to be out until an hour later ", Trinity said surprised, also picking a fork.
" If I did, the food would have gotten cold and while bathing I suddenly realized that I was hungry ".
" What are wearing to Teresa's bachelorette party tomorrow? ", Charlie asked before taking a big bite of the toast which she earlier spread peanut butter on.
" The color code is black and gold "
" I already have a dress made with those colors but kept it with Stella for later. I guess it's time to use it then ", Charlotte said.
" I still have a black dinner gown with some gold crystal patterns. I can put that on ", Charlie said.
Getting up after finishing her glass of water, Charlotte started walking in the direction of her dressing room.
It's already seven. Let's get dressed, besides we still need to stop by the hospital and settle some formalities before heading to the Minister of Health's office ", she said before entering her dressing room.

Few Minutes Later . . .
" Ma'am the car is ready ", Bablo, their driver came to inform them as Trinity was helping Charlotte with her make up.
" Ok, we will be there shortly ", turning to Charlotte, Charlie asked, " Bitch are you ever going to learn how to apply make up "
" What's the use when I already have a make up artist as a best friend ", she replied standing up from the sofa then adjusting her Cobalt blue fitted gown which showed off her sexy curves before she put on her black high stiletto heels which matched her black Gucci bag.
" Ladies, shall we? ", she said catwalking towards the front door.
" Uh huh ", they replied in unison.
They got into the brand new Rolls Rolyce Ghost which was waiting for them outside their mansion which was located at the extreme of St. Louis Estate, an elite neighborhood.
They arrived at the Life Foundation Hospital in a few minutes where Charlotte and Trinity carried out a staff meeting, signed the purchase list which was brought by the procurement department.
While all this was going on, Charlie sat in Charlotte's office waiting for them to be done.
Charlie didn't really have much interested in Science and moreover her elder brother, Daniel and twin sister, Charlotte were already into sciences - Engineering and Medicine.
So she chose to go into Art and found interest in defending, protecting and for justice for the wrongly accused. That's how she chose to study International Law. Now she is one of the world's renowned lawyers and may become a judge in the future.
The door pushed open and Charlotte followed by Trinity entered the office. Charlie sat on the twin sofa at the other side of the office texting someone.
She looked up from her phone when she heard the door open, then looked down on the phone again saying, " Done yet? We have only forty minutes to get there "
" We are officially done ", Trinity replied.
" Hmmmm. . . who are you texting? ", Charlotte asked as she sat at the arm of the sofa Charlie was sitting.
" It's just this guy I met at the Bredgum Conference, London two weeks ago. He says he likes my aura and personality. I haven't actually replied yet. We do chat up every now and then "
" Are you saying that you don't like him "
" I can't say anything until our second date, which is this weekend "
" Second date!! ", Trinity exclaimed shocked.
" Yeah, is there problem with that? "
" Nothing. I'm just shocked that you went on a date without telling us "
" Forget about that, what's his name ", Charlotte asked suddenly.
" His name is Ethan "
" Awww. . . cute name "
Charlie picked her phone then showed them his picture.
" He is pretty cute and hot too ", Trinity complimented.
" He's not bad ", Charlotte said indifferent.
" Typically Charlotte. No man seems to catch her fancy "
" Don't blame ok and do not get me wrong. He's not what I expected ".
