"what is going on here?" Joshua, her father's personal assistant barged inside the quiet office.
"I repeat? heather, what's going on here? my office now!! "
"she resisted for some minutes, you better get out before I return", she shouted at her worker angrily before storming into his office.
Mrs Nettle, knowing all was over suddenly, got up and went to her desk. nobody dared to utter a sound as she walked towards her desk only, her sniffles could be heard as she packed all her belongings into a box.
"you'll pay for this", she muttered as she left the office, carrying her box with her.
"Heather, what was the meaning of that display you created out there? your father won't be proud of you if you keep acting like this. you need to stop this behaviour if you want to be a responsible owner of this company one day, he continued to scold her."
"Are you done?" heather cut him short.
" Excuse me?"
" I said are you done? look Joshua, I really don't see the reasons why you should interfere in my decisions, you're just my father's helper."
" Don't talk to me like that young lady," he roared.
" Shut up! don't even think of talking back when I'm talking to you. you know what? as soon as I get my legal ownership of this company, the first thing in going to do is to ship you and your stupid little wisdom out of here. Excuse me, and the walked out on him."
Joshua sat frozen. he couldn't even point out what happened to the once loveable heather he knew, the one he carried. Now, she's just a spoilt brat. Especially now that her dad is sick maybe, it's just the pressure that is making her that way.
Heather a girl of 18, blonde hair, fair skinned, tall and elegant was called to the stage to receive her degree. she smiled as she walked up to the stage. her mum, her dad sitting on the front row.
"Go... heather... Go... heather"... they cheered as she approached the stage.
"I really want to thank my friends for a well spent year in college, it was really fun being with you guys. my mom, my dad for truly supporting me even though they had little. Mom, dad...thank you, she said as she spoke to the crowd. "
"I want to thank the school once again for giving me the privilege to learn about what I want to be. once again thank you great miracle falls."
"The crowd went wild as she walked down the stage. Now give it up for miss heather Martin, the commentator instructed again as he walked up to the stage. "
She couldn't believe she was done with college. now like most of her mates, she has to set out to find a real job, the one perfect job that will be a big blessing to her family.
" you can now work with me in the entertainment company tomorrow," her father Mr Martin, said as they prepared to eat dinner.
" Really, George? she's only just done with college today and you already want to ship her off to work, her mother defended." I need some time with my baby girl." she pinched her cheeks.
"okay..okay..she can spend tomorrow with you. happy?"
"Enough... Enough... Mr and Mrs Martin. you both can still spend time with me. it's not like any of you are going anywhere soon. heather said hugging them close. let's pray for this meal."
" Dear lord, we thank you for this meal, we pray that you will keep our family love stronger and forever and also bless us." "Amen."
" Amen" .. her parents said together.
"Now let's eat."
