Chapter 14: Visiting My Town
It has been 3 months since the time i leveled up to level 1.
During these 3 months i have risen my level to 13 and even got some skills from the animals i hunted.

My stats are already in the triple digits, which is completely insane.
You have to know that an average level 100 user will get 400 blank stat points to distribute across all his atributes, usually of these 400 blank stat points they would put 200-250 of these point into their main atribute.
If you still don't get it, then imagine that the highest stat of the average level 100 user is around 300 points, while i have 100 points at every possible atribute when i am just level 13.
Other than the 2 new skills, i also upgraded some of my pre-existing skills but nothing too radical.
Anyway, i will be visiting the only piece of land that is under my name as a baron, Town Nyhtous.
Yes the town was renamed after my surname, it's a very common practice in this world to rename your first piece of land after your surname.
The population is around 50-60 thousand people and i dont have a clue how big it is.
When i asked Rose she told me that the previous baron had taken all books with information about the town when he left.
To re-count everything would take a lot of time and gold which i previously had neither of in excess to have it done.
I was also very annoyed at the time because of another reason.
When i first got knowledge that i am a boron, i thought that my castle would be in the middle or at least close to the town, as that was usualy the case.
But noooooooooo, the noble who built this town was too disgusted with the thought of living near peasants, so he built his castle at the top of the nearest mountain.
You have to keep in mind that almost an hour is needed to go from the castle to the town by a normal horse, even with Rose's beast we would need 30 minutes.
I need a damn hour at the bare minimum to got reach and come back.
Anyway, i shall stop talking about this because it is realy starting to grind on my nerves.
There are 3 reason for my visit today.
First i need to make a public appearance, i have lived for almost 5 and a half years without showing my name, this made rude rumors to start to come out like me being too weak or too ugly to come out of the castle, there is even a word that Rose had assassinated me and was living of the tax money of my town!
The second reason is because i need a new servant to take with me at the Royal Academy.
You see, a new rule was just implemented stating that your servant must be at the same age as you or younger.
Fun fact, this new rule was implemented because last year a prince of a human kingdom took a level 250 servant and just used him to get full marks at everything that needed team work.
There are 2 ways to get a servant at this world, first be strong and people will come swear allegiance to you for protection and backing, the second is to buy slaves.
As you can imagine, my Nyhtous household branch doesn't have such a thing as strength, so the only other way is to get a slave.
Thankfully all the money from the last 3 months is more than enough to get a good slave.
And third, i want to use all the leftover money from buying the slave to get some book about blacksmithing, alchemy and enchanting so i can finaly get started with those.
With this in mind we started the trip to the town.

Finaly we are almost there.
During the whole duration of the trip, Rose was prepering me mentaly for the curious eyes that will fall on me, whether it is because of my status as a baron or due to my charm being over 100.
She also reminded of the currency used in this world which are bronze, silver, gold and platinum coins.
You know the drill, every 100 bronze coins is 1 silver coin.
This keeps going until platinim coins which need 1000 gold coins for 1.
An average person need about 5 bronze coins worth of food and water to fully sustain themselfs.
Platinum coins are only used for huge transactions.
This is basicaly it when it comes to coins, there might be a coin that is worth more but i currently have no knowledge about it.
With these thoughts in mind we finaly arrived.
The wall are 4 meter tall and made out of stone while the gate is 5 meter tall and made out of iron.
The gate is currently wide open, acording to Rose the gate closes only at night or at emergences.
Guard can be seen station both on the wall and at the gate.
When we arrived at the gate a young soldier tried to stop us for inspection only for an older guard to come and bonk his head with a blunt side of his sword.
"Lady Rosana please forgive him for his idiocy, you can come in without an inspection."
After saying this the man backed away and let us through, as we were passing he seem to just noticed me which in turn made his eyes go as wide as he could possibly open them.
This picture repeated multiple times and left me absolutely confused.
Rose seem to have picked up on this fact and let out a chuckle.
"Younge master, you seem to underestimate your charm."
"...i guess so."
We have to travel almost all the town to get to the slave merchant, which left me feeling like i was some kind of animal on the circus.
The faces of all the people who looked at me were all super exaggerated, to the point that i though that Rose was pranking me when it finally dawned on me.
This is the first time i made a public appearance, together with the rumors that i was some kind of monster made for a shocking surprise.
After quite a bit we finaly made it to the slave merchant.
