Synopsis
Ye Feng was born in a prestigious clan, and he was surrounded by powerful cultivators from birth. He had good relationships with his siblings, and his parents treated him well. He had an endless supply of rare resources. Miraculous elixirs were akin to snacks to him.
What excuse did he have to not work hard in such a conducive environment? His decision was…to become a couch potato.

Ye Feng’s clan members were very concerned, but they didn’t want him to worry about them. Therefore, they hid the truth from him, allowing him to be a carefree young master who didn’t even cultivate.
However, unbeknownst to the clan members, Ye Feng was actually not useless.
After he awakened the Couch Potato System, he only needed to lie down in order to improve himself. After lazing around for several years, he had already become one of the most powerful members of the clan in terms of ability.
One day, after a small skirmish, war suddenly broke out between the two families. The elders of Ye Feng’s clan frantically pushed back the enemy and protected Ye Feng and the rest of the clan as they retreated. Even the patriarch was prepared to fight to the death.
All their valuables had been packed, and the juniors only needed to take the items with them. However, the patriarch was still an old man and was no match for their enemy. He was severely injured due to oversight. The battlefield was filled with crying.
Right then, Ye Feng sighed. He slowly came forward and said, “In the end, I still need to act. I will most likely never have leisurely days in the future.” There was the sound of a sword being drawn.
That night, the blood of their enemies was splattered all across the Ye clan residence.

I guess it’s gonna be okay even though though a lot of novel with the exact same troupe have been written and published.

Fking trash novel, 20 chapter bs fight start from few chapter still not finish bc of fking idiot mc
A decent story this far, if not a little cliché. I would continue to read it if it gets picked though I would like to find the raw if anyone has it.
So the MC is a lazy character who does not want to do anything, mainly because his system requires it. First he transmigrates to this powerful family and works hard until he is tested to have trash talent. At that point he thinks about his family and realizes that there really is no point in him working hard as his family is one of the most powerful in the world. This unlocks his system. It offers him rewards as long as he keeps being lazy. This being the case and with a very supportive family who does not cast him out for poor talent, he does just what the system requires for his most optimal cultivation. Later his family gets into trouble and is attacked by 2+1 of the other top level families in the world. At this point he has been lazy for 10 years which change the character of anyone. At first he does not realize there is a problem as he does not keep track of things. When combat breaks out he realizes that his family is under attack. At this point he monitors the situation hoping that he does not need to take action as that would expose his top of the world cultivation. This is fairly natural as he has been lazy for 10 years. But with the love and care he has received from his family he first tries to act as a leader to protect the family without exposing himself. Then he makes a move under the guise of a talisman given to him by his father. Finally when the 3rd family decides to join in to attack his family and those who are the backbone of the family are in danger he finally takes action to save them which also exposes his cultivation. This is a very fast paced story especially to start with. It starts with him discovering his talent then the system unlocking and then a 10 year time-skip. The story was actually better than most of the reviews suggested, mainly because the MC follows a natural progression based on habit.
I haven't given any novel a bad rating till now, yet I must say this is really disappointing and infuriating. Man.......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... .... ......... ....
Tr4sh MC, he already became the strongest yet he doesn't want to help his family because he wants to stay low-key lol, I like humble MC but this one is selfish.
just because it's an idle cultivation book doesn't mean I should have to read 15 chapters of them talking about how the families are going to fight with no actual story in the first 20 chapters
The MC behavior is like he was born in a royal family rather than a cultivation one. Cultivation family would give you more freedom if you are the strongest. Just look at the Ye family. The current strongest isn't the head of the family. He focus on his cultivation. A royal family would want the strongest be in command.

The same synopsis. I forgot the title but it was exactly the same to this one and the feedbacks were full of negativity so i un booked it just recently before reading. It has already 1000+ chps and still ongoing.
Poison tester here and heres'smy report for this one: A shallow novel tbh, 5~6 chapters in and I still don't know the cultivation levels. It feels more of a wish fulfillment. Not to mention this is one of the long dragging novels. Just to make the pos mc move out of the way it took 2~3 chapters. Its a poison imo, so I don't recommend it.
So... What I'm getting from the synopsis is that the MC is a selfish, lazy f*** who let his family, who always treated him like a treasure despite his slovenly ways, fight to the brink of destruction, before reluctantly stepping up to save them. Doesn't sound like a MC I'd enjoy reading about.
