I glared at him, why is I that he don't know how to complete his sentence, always speaking halfway.
"Another extinct herb, where can we get the herb, do you know anybody that is in possession of it."
"That I do not know, your majesty, but all I know is that Beta Mato can't hold on for more than two months after I suppress the poison"

"Two month!"
"Yes your majesty, I can only suppress it to that extent, with the Heliumatine flower and the eye of the earth, i can completely cure Him"
He said, I signed again , now another problem on my shoulders, my best friend is poisoned because of my negligence and here am I.
I watched as the royal physician performed treatment on him, and fortunately he managed to suppress the poison In his body.
"When will he regain consciousness"
I asked the imperial doctor (royal physician)
"For now, he shouldn't be disturbed, though I suprresed the poison but he is still very weak, he can't engage in any battle until he is cured."
He answered
"When is he going to wake up, he won't be like this forever right."
I asked hoping to get a positive response from him
"No, hopefully by tomorrow, he might be able to wake up"
"Alright then, .. You can go, if you hear any news of the eye of the earth, let me know immediately"
I heaved a sign of relief when I heard him say he will wake up tomorrow, though he will be very weak but it is better than lying in bed all day.
"Yes your majesty, this servant will take his leave"
He bowed and walked out of the room. When I saw her left, I walked over to the side of the bed, I watched my beta who is always energetic, but here he goes lying helplessly waiting for his fate. This must have been planned by the vampire prince. 'Sign....' My head is really going to explode, everybody special to me is encountering danger and problems one after another, first it was my sister, and my mate went over there to the witch kingdom, (a very dangerous place for her), to rescue her, if she was to be found by the witches, it is very likely she will be killed on the spot and now my beta is seriously poisoned, all because of me. Am I cursed or what. 'Sign....' I need to look for my mate first to get the Heliumatine flower.
She promised to return before or after three days, but it has been more than three days but she hasn't returned yet. To get to the witch kingdom from here will take probably two weeks journey, and coming back will even take more time. Do I have to do that , the answer is definitely yes, I have to, I have to save them all. I trust that I will be able to save my sister and the priestess between one month, not even one month, my beta has only two months remaining, I signed again, how did things get so complicated, is this kingdom cursed, or is the prophecy true, No it can never be true, their ancestors already settled that.
I signed again 'sign...." It is getting worst.
"Why do you keep signing like an old woman whose only surviving chicken was stolen"
I was stunned when I heard his barely audible and weak voice,but it somewhat calmed my troubled heart.
"When did you wake up, I thought you were supposed to wake up tomorrow, what am I saying, is good you are awake, how do you feel, do you feel pain anywhere, are you very weak, can you talk, no don't talk, what happened, how did you get poisoned?"
I asked worriedly, not even realizing what am saying.
"Relax, am good, just a little weak, it is not gonna kill me, am very strong you know....!"
When I heard his normal playful voice, I concluded that he wasn't that weak now, he even have the strength to tease. I finally relaxed, at least he is out of danger for now. I gave him a glass of water to sooth his throat as his voice was hoarse, I went to hold him down when I saw that he was actually trying to stand up 'sign... this guy..."
"You know you shouldn't be standing...."
I began my nagging but he just cut me off.
"I was just trying to sit up, but am too weak, how am I like this, it feels like this is not my body anymore, I can't even sit up, what happened to me?..., you said earlier about poison, who poisoned me"
I realized I slipped that why talking to him earlier, I was so worried that I didn't even realized what I was saying, I don't intend to tell him this now, but now I messed up and I can only say it.
"You were poisoned by Prince Tyler shades"
I answered him truthfully.
"Poisoned, so I was indeed poisoned, I thought you were saying nonsense, but apart from feeling weak, I don't feel poisoned"
He replied while flexing his arms. I glared at him, has the poison also affected his IQ
"How are you supposed to feel it, just rest, the royal physician said you are not to do anything, you are too weak presently, you shouldn't involve yourself in any fight, and if you strain your body much, then the two months time he gav...."
I hesitated, I don't want him to panick, in two months time, if I haven't found the Heliumatine flower and the eye of the earth, he might die, at the thought of that I shuttered, how was I supposed to tell him that.
"What happens after two months, Alex"
"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you"
"Alex, what happens after...."
"Alright, alright..., I will tell you, it is no use to keep it away from you anyway"
I surrendered, I have to tell him.

"The imperial doctor (royal physician) diagnosed you of being poisoned by a very rare poison called the hundred blood suckers, the name is quite weird but it suit it best. It sucks all your energy from your body till you are rendered useless and since there is no antidote for the poison, it end up killing you, but..."
