Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Alchemy Exam
Long enters the exam room and sees two senior alchemy apprentices in grey robes waiting there.
They look towards his surprise at his age but don't comment on that instead they wait for Long to reach in front of their table.
Long after reaching in front of them bows a little.
Long: "greetings to seniors"
examiner 1: "it looks like this junior is a humble one"
Long: "Thank you for the praise senior"
examiner 2: "now, those greetings are over. We should start the examination"
examiner 2 says in a grumpy voice.
examiner 2: "these are 360 sheets of paper you can choose any 20 from them to answer. Only an above 90% will result in passing and being qualified for the next round."
Long: "this junior would like to ask the senior to choose 20 sheets for him."
this surprises both the examiners, but they comply with his request.
Long receives the sheets and thanks them and goes to his seat to start his examination.
Long: 'Raphael use all the data to tell me the best answers'

Long proceeds to answer all questions swiftly. His brush was moving non-stop only stopping to read the question before continuing. this greatly surprised examiners as they know they themselves cannot answer those questions with that speed.
After half time has passed Long finishes his paper and stands up to submit them to the examiners.
when they receive the papers and check them they can see all questions are answered correctly and are even explained in great detail. they were so surprised by this that they entered a daze and quickly entered his marks in his emblem and told Long where to go for the next round.
As Long left the room they only had one thought in their minds, 'what a monster?'

Round 2 examination waiting room,
Long has completed his examination for the first round and is ready for the second round. currently, he is waiting for the second round to begin which he has been told by a passing alchemist will begin in 10 minutes.
10 minutes later,
An alchemist comes and calls him for the second examination. Long follows him and reaches a room with an alchemy furnace.
there he can see 1 white-robed alchemy master waiting with a lot of ingredients on a table behind.
Long goes to the alchemist master and greets him in a polite tone and introduces himself.
Alchemy master: "greeting junior, I am Huyan Ming a primary alchemy master. you are here to take the primary apprentice examination, right?"
Long: "senior is right. I am here to take the examination."
Huyan: "then, let's not waste time let's get started. first, I would check your cultivation and ask you to refine a pill according to it."
Huyan takes out a crystal and says, "As you may know this is a soul crystal. it is used to measure your cultivation, soul force, and soul realm. Take this in your hand and push some soul force into it."
Long takes the crystal from Huyan's hand and pushes some soul force into it. the crystal starts to glow and show some dots of light.
Huyan sees this and goes in shock.
Huyan: 'he only looks 8 years old and he already has a soul force of a hundred, equivalent to a bronze rank demon spiritualist. I knew he was a genius as he passed round one at such a young age, this is beyond anything I imagined.'
Huyan then notices something that shatters his whole reality.
Huyan: 'In...In...In....Indigo*gulp* soul realm'
Long sees the paralyzed state of Huyan Ming and calls him out. this seems to do the work.
Long: "senior can we start the examination now."
Huyan remembers this is an examination and composes himself.
*cough*cough*
Huyan clears his throat and speaks, "I would like you to choose the correct ingredients from the one on the table and refine a soul-assembling pill. a pill with over 90% efficacy is required to pass"
Long nods at that, and goes towards the table, and start to choose the ingredients.
while Long is choosing ingredients Huyan steps out of the room and calls an apprentice and orders him to call the President of the Alchemy association and tell him that it is urgent.
After, Apprentice leaves Huyan enters the exam room once again and sees that Long has started the refining process. So, as to not disturb him waits patiently for him to finish.
