Chapter 79: Opulence
"Why do you have two pantries?" nora asked confused. "that pantry is almost entirely his as well as a trap for unruly guest. the actual people food is in my hidden second pantry." leon said with a grin as he moved a false wall away to show his second walk in refrigerated pantry. "that seems kinda over the top don't you think?" blake asked seeing this second pantry. leon just gave gave her a "are you serious" look that shut her up immediately. "now then i will allow each of you to take ONE thing from the pantry , don't try to be sneaky ruby i know all your tricks." he said as the girl got a glint in her eye making her deflate.
Leon just shook his head at her antics and watched the group grab something out of the pantry each including jaune and pyrrha this time. the two of them had refrained from trying to loot leons food stores for two different reasons originally. for pyrrha it was a matter of her being too polite to do such a thing but for jaune it was because leon terrified him too much to risk it. leon didn't say anything even after ren grab something from the pantry.
"Well then now that that's done with , why are you all here?" leon asked casually. "uh , we felt like it , i guess?" ruby said hesitantly. leon sighed "so you mean you just decided that rather than i don't know study , you would come visit me instead?" he asked for clarification. "pretty much yep." yang said shamelessly. "so long as we are clear about that. since you are all here you may as well make yourselves useful and help me give genesis a bath." leon said and genesis gave him a betrayed look.
"Don't look at me like that you stink and have dried blood all over you so it was bound to happen anyways." leon admonished the spoiled dragon. "ok so i get it sounds like he needs a bath but why do you need help to bath him from us?" weiss asked confused. "are you kidding me? look at all those spikes , do you have any idea how long it takes to get the stuff caked on between those? ages it takes me fucking ages to get all of that clean , whats worse is he makes things harder by trying to avoid the brush because he's ticklish." leon said exasperated.
"Wait the massive murderous monster is ticklish?" jaune asked stunned at this revelation. leon nodded "yeah his species can ignore flesh wounds but take a rough brush to them and it's like ants walking over their skin. it's honestly a pain in the ass to deal with when it comes time to clean up." he said with a sigh. "enough about that though , come on buddy to the bathroom so we can both get this over with." leon said and genesis moped his way into the massive white room down the hallway.
The bathroom was a massive fort five foot long and wide room with a silver ceiling dotted with holes and a smooth white sloped floor that had a drain in the center of the room. at the near wall there was a sink and toilet as well but they felt almost out of place in the huge nearly empty room. "why the hell is your bathroom the size of a small house!?" jaune exclaimed in surprise. leon pointed at genesis who was in the middle of the room. "i had to upscale every part of my house after he reached his current size" he said honestly.
"Lets start with a quick rinse before we bust out the brushes to save him some trouble." leon said before speaking up at the ceiling. "initiate spring rain for a duration of five minutes." he said and the group watched in awe as the entire ceiling started dripping warm water like it was raining. the warms water washed over genesis who didn't mind this part of the cleaning process but the black water flowing towards the drain from him showed how much he needed it. "state of the art rain caster shower system , patented and designed by yours truly." leon bragged shamelessly. ruby gave him the biggest puppy dog eyes she could muster "can i live here please?" she asked with a pitiful appearance.
