Chapter 33: WHAT! YOU WANT TO FORGIVE WHO ?
Xin Yi feel relieved hearing that from her person, even though the person at the other end was silent for a minute, she knew she is probably still listening to what she is saying
“anyway, I should get going, I need to go sound that girl out”
“okay" the other person answered
“I'll send a .....”
She hesitated for a second before saying ‘call you later’ and cutting the call. After making sure there are no signs of people around her,
she quickly makes a run down to the opposite room where she heard her sister was admitted.
She knows how hard she worked to be able to get this place and now with everything she has accomplished so far, she couldn't let Xie Xi be the one to shatter it all
When she reached the opposite room, she finds her mother sitting on a chair by Xie Xi bedside, holding her hand gently while watching her sleep.
Xin Yi felt like she just intruded on them, but the moment her mother saw her step into the room,
she quickly stood up and confront Xin Yi angrily
“You! Do you hate your sister so much why are you trying to kill her” Her mother asked Angrily
Xie Xi woke up when she heard her mother's loud voice, she looked around confused and try to sit up, but she felt pain coming through her body,
when she looked back to her mother and saw Xin Yi who was standing in front of her,
when Xie Xi let out a grunt, her mother immediately rush over to help her sit up and held both her hands tightly to reassure her that she is alright.
“Xi-Xi” she turned to her sister and put on a teary eye,
she slowly reach her hand and give her a small smile, Xi-Xi I forgive you, but don't do something like this again, you scared me very much” She said softly,
when Xi heard that, she swung away her arms from the Xie Xi who was holding them and glared at her.
“What?! You want to forgive who! Don't you remember what you did! You kidnapped my son !” She said angrily.
Xie Xi felt panic, how did she know about that?
“Xi--Xi I didn't mean to do anything to him, I just wanted to have sometimes alone with my sister's son, I am sorry Xi Xi, but I really didn't want to hurt your son I just did it because the man threatened my life!”
Xin Yi was about to reply, but her mother cut her off
“And now you are here blaming Xie Xi for something that wasn't her fault!” She raised her voice at Xi Xi,
the last sentence made Xie Xi feel shocked, she shivers a little bit, she can't believe that her mother knows about the incident.
She didn't know what to say,
“Mother calm down we are not talking about this anymore. I am here for your daughter” She said calmly, while facing Xie Xi.
“I know that you didn't do that alone. I am not stupid, and I want to know the reason behind everything, or I will hand you over yo the police for kidnapping my son.
When Xie Xi mother heard this she screamed at Xin Yi while pointing a finger at her“you filial daughter, how dare you threatened to lock your sister in jail.”?
She took a breath and continued
“Let me tell you we are not the only one who dislike you, there are other people too, like the men who demand we help him kidnapped….” her voice trailed off, she realized she has spoken too much out of anger. She quickly kept quiet.
Xie Xi's heart skipped a beat when she heard what her mother say,
Xin Yi couldn't believe what she heard, her eyes suddenly widen,
“what you said about those people…”
“Xin Yi, we aren't talking about it, please calm down.”
Xie Xi face went pale when she realized what she said,
Her mother gave her a stern glare, but when she saw how terrified her daughter looks, she sighted.
Xin Yi turn towards her sister demanding an explanation.
Xin Yi went blank, when the stranger approach her, he had instructed her not to reveal hi presence, but Xie Xi has no choice,
it not like the stranger can see her telling the truth rather than going to jail she will tell Xin Yi the truth, she thought
“Alright Xi-Xi I will tell you the truth, A stranger approach with a deal to help kidnapped your son, I asked the man why, but he just asked me to do as I was told, and I should not ask question and since I hate you and we need money I decide to help him, but your friend appear to save him while we were driving him away” she said quietly hoping Xin Yi will keep her promise.
Xin Yi was shocked to hear Xie Xi. She couldn't believe they could do such towards her, even if they dislike her, hurting her child was out of boundary.
Xin Yi was about to speak when their mother interrupted again
“Now that Xie Xi has told you the truth do not hurt her or report her, it not her fault it is your fault” she uttered shamelessly
Xin Yi couldn't believe the ridiculous word coming from the woman she regarded has mother.
Looking at Xin Yi bloodshot eyes and the way she was looking at their mother Xie Xi knows she had to do something
“I'm sorry, Xi for putting my trust in someone and making him use me to hurt your son. It was selfish, and I can't blame you for thinking that I would ever betray you after everything you have done for.” She said in a calm tone, trying to make Xie Xi calm down.
Xin Yi didn't reply and just stared at her with a cold expression on her face
“if you don't want us to contact you any more then I will understand” Xie Xi said
Xin Yi turned her body to leave when she felt her sister hand wrapped around her wrist, stopping her
Xin Yi finally spoke, her voice sounded hoarse and weak,
