Violet was somehow trying to control her embarrassed face.
Arthur also turned to hide his blushing face from Violet.
"Violet. I want you to guard this barrier. If any of the devils come here then..."
"Yes. Leave it to me."

With the last enchantment in place, he was finally ready to go all out.
"Arthur-san! Arthur-san!"
Arthur heard the Count's voice from inside the barrier.
"What happened, Count?"
"It's Yuri! She isn't here!"
"What?!"
'Where did she go?'
"Don't worry, Count. I will bring her back safely. Don't be too worried."
Arthur tried to calm the Count and then looked at Violet. As if knowing her job she nodded and then Arthur disappeared.

"W-What is this?"
Yuri in tears was hiding behind a tree. She saw a long army of devils.
Unlike herself in the Ultimate Magicians, she is now just a normal noble girl with some aptitude for magic.
And there is no way she wouldn't freak out watching all many devils.
In fear for her life, she was hiding behind a big tree desperately holding her mouth to make no sounds.
"Hmm... I smell something."
A bandit giving out full devil aura stopped and looked at the tree.
*Eeek!*
In fear, she was about to shout but quickly controlled herself as tears rolled in.
"Hmm... Maybe I am hallucinating."
And the bandit continued to walk which made her a bit relieved.
'Finally, he is away.'
"Oh! A young girl!!"
"Aaaahh!"
As she looked up, she saw the bandit looking at her with those demonic red eyes.

"That sound... It's Yuri."
Arthur who was dashing with all his power speeded up to find her.
'Too many devils.'
Arthur indeed knew it would be difficult for him to cut down so many devils, but unexpectedly his surroundings were all in his favor.

Like a thunder flash, he jumped from a tree without reducing his speed and used them as a platform to cut the devils from all angles.

He can wipe them with powerful magic but it will also damage the surroundings. So, to prevent Yuri to caught in it, he dashed towards the place he heard the shout.
"Violet will take care for a while. It's good I entrusted her. And now where are you, Yuri?"
Arthur closed his eyes and increase his <Mana Sense>
In this field of corrupted mana all around, he is sure to find the girl with normal mana.
And then he saw a figure surrounded by many demonic mana.
"She is attacked!"

Yuri full of tears was inside a dome barrier that appeared around her as the devil attacked her.
She looked at the silver bracelet on her left hand which shined and made the barrier.
Then she remembered during talking with Arthur, he gave her a gift.
*Crack!*
Then she looked the barrier which cracked because it couldn't endure more damage.
"Hahaha! This barrier is cracking! With one more hit, it will be cracked!"
The devils became more ecstatic after looking at the cracks in the barrier. And they speeded up their attacks with more power.
Devils... when their emotions increase, so does their power.
*Crack!*
And the green barrier cracked into pieces!
'Save me!!'
*Slash* *Slash*
And then with a strike of lightning, the devils' heads fell down.
And one standing behind them was Arthur with blood splattered on his cheek.
"Yuck! Their blood is smelly."
"A Hero..."
In her sight, Arthur was standing with his brilliant figure with a black-red katana in his hand, two green wings behind him, and the lightning hovering around him giving very resemblance to his flowing golden hair.
A person no less than a hero!
"Yuri. Let's go."
"Umm."
Yuri stood up and grabbed his hand with a shy look on her face.
While Violet sneezed on the other side, very much making her feel as if a bad omen for her is going to come.
