Chapter 67: Ning Jing Encounter with Lian Hua 2
Just as Ning Qi calmed down and decided to go with the flow. The car sped through the city as traffic cleared a bit. They reached their destination hotel, which is completely booked for the people who are attending the event.
This hotel is one of the five-star hotels under Yang's corporation, Hotels in Shanghai. A night's stay in this hotel will probably cost over 6,000 yuan, which is kind of expensive for ordinary people. Not to mention they have to pay extra for all their food or any consumables by themselves.
Right after getting out of the car, Ning Jing quickly searched for the hotel and its cost. She saw an average cost of ten thousand yuan per night from the reviews and how good the hotel is. She obviously disregarded the 'good' part, as her eyes were glued completely on the most important part.
She hurriedly started tugging on Wen Fen, who was looking at the hotel normally. The hotel itself isn't towering to the sky, but it has a lot of good 'vibes' with many eco-friendly items everywhere, and the maintenance is at its best.
"Wait for me for a minute as I park the car, or you both can proceed inside first and have a seat at the reception hall." Bai Ling said politely.
Wen Fen nodded her head and finally looked at her friend, who had been trying to get her attention for some time. She already understood her problem and simply looked at the price mentioned on the phone to satisfy her friend's effort.
"Alright! Jing, don't be so nervous. Even if it costs a bit now, you can pay me back later, when we go back. This isn't your fault, so we can directly 'sue' brother Ning later." Wen Fen said, trying to console Ning Jing and also simply shifting all the blame onto Ning Qi.
Ning Jing thought for a moment before nodding her head slowly in agreement. But her resolve increased in the final nod, as though she had decided on something.
"Yes! It's all my brother's fault. If he hadn't arranged such a thing, I wouldn't have had to worry so much in the first place. I will just let him pay you right after we go back, and then I will do a part-time job for some time to return the money to him." Ning Jing said to Wen Fen, but Wen Fen understood that her friend was telling it herself. She smiled a bit, knowing that her best friend would not worry about too many things from then on. But she also secretly decided to talk with Ning Qi after they went back. Ning Qi has paid on her behalf so many times and never let her pay for anything, so this time she wants to insist on this one, finally.
At around a minute or two, Bai Ling came to them after parking the car before leading them into the hotel. The hotel inside is a bit extremely luxurious, and it's not as crowded as they thought.
Even some of those rich people looked at the young duo weirdly as their dress is completely ordinary, neither it is branded nor it is custom-made. But they only looked for a moment before losing interest, even though these two girls are pretty.
Ning Jing felt a bit nervous under their stares, while Bai Ling's attire looked to be a staff one, so no one cared about her. On the other hand, Wen Fen also didn't care about any of them, except for Ning Jing and Bai Ling.
"If you can wait here for a moment. I will go and get your room cards also. Do you want to have your food in the dining hall or have it served to your rooms?" Bai Ling asked for their confirmation.
"It's alright, sister Bai! Let's go to the counter together, and we will also have food in our own room. We don't want two rooms, just one is enough, as we almost stay together most of the time." Ning Jing answered hurriedly, as she want to reduce the room cost as much as possible. Also what she said is mostly true. Wen Fen also nodded her head, as her thoughts are similar to the words mentioned by her friend.
"Alright! Please follow me." Bai Ling said, as she led them to the reception counter, where a young lady has been seen standing. She welcomed them with a smile as they approached.
"Zizi! These two are the clients I have talked to you about before. But they only want one room, so just give the card to VIP Suite 2 and also inform Manager Yang that we have one free VIP Suite here." Bai Ling said as she asked for the card with her hand.
That girl, Zizi, looked at the two young girls, who looked to be around her age. She couldn't help but curse her fate internally as she handed the card to Bai Ling before smiling at both of them again. This is also the first time she has met three people who hold diamond cards, all of whom are under 30.
"Do we pay it now, or we can check out later?" Wen Fen asked as she searched her purse for the card, which she won't use in many cases. On the other hand, Ning Jing simply waited for the amount of money that the reception girl was going to say, and her entire concentration was on her.
Zizi looked a bit confused by such an abrupt question. But she, who always handles cards, immediately recognized the black card in Wen Fen's hand... that has a limit of one hundred million yuan. She shook her head internally, as she never understood these rich people's thoughts. She guessed that these people may not even have read the benefits provided by the card, they may have simply bought it for convenience.
Bai Ling also thought the same and forgot that she had those two cards with her.
"Ah! Miss Wen, you both don't have to pay anything for your stay or food while you stay here for the event. As the diamond card holder, you have all these benefits, but you may not have cared about them and forgot about them." Bai Ling said as she took her purse out before handing two small black boxes to both Ning Jing and Wen Fen accordingly.
Not knowing what was happening, Wen Fen opened both boxes and saw two finely crafted cards with both of their details on each card. There are even deeply inlaid diamonds on these cards, making them look extremely beautiful with the combination of black and white.
Ning Jing was simply stunned speechless as she looked at the card with her name on it. Instead of what Zizi and Bai Ling thought, Ning Jing knows all the benefits of these cardholders. Even Wen Fen knows them, as her bestie let her go through them with her.
Both of them simply looked at each other and finally understood what the surprise that Ning Qi meant and also why the Yang consortium is proactive to help them and provide such services.
Ning Jing is a bit overwhelmed by the sudden surprise, as she has too many questions to ask. But Wen Fen held her hand as though stopping her from saying anything until they got into their room.
"Oh! Then, please lead us to our rooms, and also send our food quickly." Wen Fen said, to which Bai Ling nodded her head before leading them to the 3rd floor, which only has 3 rooms. She led them to the middle room with the number 2.
"Just call me whenever you are about to go outside, or just message me. Also, I will send the food to your room in 15 minutes." Bai Ling said after they reached their room, while Wen Fen simply nodded her head with a smile in a polite manner before dragging Ning Jing into the room.
"Fen Fen! I don't know what's happening anymore! Let's call brother first and ask how he is able to buy two diamond memberships first, or else my head will break with all these thoughts." Ning Jing finally said something after seeing Wen Fen close the door. She wanted to know how Ning Qi is able to afford such things.
"I don't think it's a good idea, Jing! Brother Ning told us not to call him for this, especially. Also, brother Ning said that he needs something important to talk to you about later this week, probably regarding this. Also, he behaved normally and also told us about this, which means it's a very good thing, not a bad one. I have been feeling that something was about to happen since the moment brother Ning told us about the surprise. Now, I can finally confirm that, hehe."
Wen Fen analyzed, as she really felt that from the very start. She is also a bit excited, just thinking about the thought that Ning Qi and her bestie will have more wealth in their hands, which will ease their lives by working hard every day.
Ning Jing thought for some time, calming her thoughts a bit, and a smile soon rose on her face. She is the one who knows her brother better, but her mind thought many dangerous thoughts because of extreme nervousness. She scolded herself a bit for even thinking like that.
They both looked at each other with smiles on their faces, ready to celebrate the happy occasion. But the moment they are about to shout out, the doorbell of their room rings, instantly making their voices get stuck in their throats, before slowly going back the same way they came.
