Chapter 96: Meeting Xia Lan again
"Brother! Aren't you worried for their safety?"
Ning Jing finished her breakfast and asked, as she knew her brother better than anyone. He is the type that will never put those around him in any danger.
"I think brother Ning will follow them secretly and help them when they are in danger, right?"
Wen Fen said as she understood his character well enough.
"Is that true, big brother? I'm truly worried about my father. He is, after all, not that young... " Kang Jia also asked, with expectancy and worry filling her eyes.
Ning Qi stood up from his chair and looked at them for a moment before shaking his head.

At around 20 minutes, a car parked in front of the public security bureau of Guilin. Then two people slowly exited the car, causing the guard policeman, who was drinking his daily dose of coffee, to immediately spit it out.
He quickly stood up and took his walkie-talkie in one hand, while raising the other hand with the gun pointing at the two people.

That policeman quickly requested help and then looked at the two people with caution, as he held the gun tightly.
"Both of you! Quickly drop your weapons and rise your hands." That police officer said.
Of course, Kang Xuan and Shen Yue, who just got out of the car, looked at the policeman weirdly for a moment and then at the weapons in their hands as they heard his warning. Finally, they looked at each other with wry smiles.
They have thought of taking the help of police officers, but they forgot that bringing such dangerous weapons to the police station will cause obvious trouble.
"Hello, young man! I'm familiar with your bureau's deputy chief. We aren't enemies, and we came here just to talk with him regarding a case. So, you can lower your gun and inform him that someone from the Taohua sect is here to meet him. We will just wait here till he comes and won't move, or if you want, we can even sit in the car."
