Chapter 1: Vampire and family
A young girl born in an old family, happily living together with seemingly no differences from any other family.
The young girl's name is Charlotte. She went to a standard school, ate standard food and had standard friends
Charlotte had a little brother who was always cheerful, his name was Charles.
Charles had short black hair and purplish blue eyes. Although he was 10 years old he was quite short, but his muscles made up the difference
Charlotte's mother was very wise and smart, but looked very young, as if she didn't age since her 20's. Her name was Lyrica. She had waist long dark purple hair, and pinkish red eyes. Lyrica was also surprisingly tall reaching over 6 feet, or 180 centimeters
The family's father, Vlad, was a very tall and imposing but at the same time warm and kind man. Just the type of father you'd want. His hair jet black reaching his shoulders and deep blue eyes. His height reaching over 7 feet, or 215 centimeters.
A feature the whole family shared was everyone had vary pale almost ghastly skin, and everyone looked very beautiful and handsome
Charlotte however was probably the most unusual. She had waist long dark purple hair with some lighter purple accents. She had heterochromia and one of her eyes wine red and the other azure blue. She was the second tallest member of the family, a bit shorter than her father, reaching just under 7 feet, a 210 centimeters. Her personality was without a doubt the most unusual in the whole family. She was wise beyond her age, sadistic and calm.
The family lived in a large house which was made after traditional Japanese houses. The outside looked like a modern mansion yet the inside had quite a few traditional Japanese rooms with paper walls, sliding doors and rush tatami flooring. The house was 3 stories tall and more then 1200 square meters large, not including the yard which added another 800 square meters.
This was Charlotte's first day of high school. Walking into the yard she received a lot of stares. Her imposing aura made others look at her as if they were looking at an empress. Charming and gorgeous yet calm and imposing.
Walking into the classroom Charlotte had to bow a little to not hit her head on the door frame.
She was dressed with the usual female uniform. She also wore a silver cross earring and a pair of white leather gloved that was decorated with some writing
A lot of students around her started to stare at her and whisper with each others. Charlotte sat down in the fourth row from the front near the window. Sitting down Charlotte sighed and looked through the window.
"Uhm. Excuse me..." A shy looking girl asked Charlotte
"What is it?" Charlotte answered
"M-may I know your name? You looked lonely sitting there" The girl muttered
"My name's Charlotte, nice to meet you" Charlotte looked at the window and spoke again
"I-I'm Emily" The girl muttered again "Nice to meet you too"
"So? Why would you suddenly come to me?" Charlotte asked
"As I said, you looked lonely, and it doesn't seem like you're from here. So I thought I would be the first one to talk and maybe make a friend..." Emily said
"That's a funny reason" Charlotte stared at Emily "Fine. Tell me what do you want to know?"
"Ah! Yes, uhm..." Emily got flustered "M-maybe tell me some of your hobbies or something..."
"Hmm... Hobbies... Hobbies..." Charlotte looked up and thought "Like... Forging... Yeah, I like forging things... Swords, shields, tools"
"Ehh?" Emily looked at Charlotte surprised
"Now is the part where you're going to call me weirdo right? A girl forging things... What a bad thing it is, is what you're thinking right now isn't it?"
"What? No! Why would I, I was just kind of surprised... You look like the sort of girl to hang out with your friends and stuff..."
"I really do, don't I?" Charlotte said mockingly "What part of me says I like to hang out, or even have friends?"
"Hmm, I guess nothing does... You just look really beautiful" Emily blushed a little
"Exactly I mean it's not like it's hard to lift a hammer... It's only like what 4 kilograms... I don't understand why other girls don't do it... It's very fun you know... Maybe you could give it a try too"
"You know... Not everyone is that strong and has that much endurance" Emily said shocked
"Anyways... What about your hobbies?" Charlotte asked
"Hmm... I like cosplay I guess, but I really don't have the money to get into it... I do like drawing and I like to think I can draw quite well... Not to brag of course but I really do think"
"Ok then if you're so eager to make friends with me, how about you draw me the best you can... If it looks sincere and good enough I will consider out friendship"
And that was the beginning of a long and unexpected friendship. Of course Emily being the girl she is, honestly put all of her focus and effort into the drawing and was finished by the end of the lesson (Or more like introduction with the teacher)
And that drawing really was beautiful. The shy girl really did seem good at drawing, as the monochrome sheet of paper was overflowing with emotion and thought put into it.
"I guess you really didn't lie... But now you've got an angry teacher on your ass" Charlotte chuckled
"Emily... How many times will I have to tell you to focus on the class! We're together as a group for the fifth year now yet you didn't change at all since"
Yes, the fifth year, the school system was different here 7-10 year old children go to the primary school. After that for four years to the secondary school, and then four years to the high school
And this was a school that had 8 grades 5 to 12
Most students either way started here or transferred on 9th grade, and Charlotte was one of the latter category
