Chapter 6: Towards the restaurant
Next day as soon as Bless woke up ,he ran towards dad and asked him when to go. Dad rebuked him not to be so much curious and mad for such thing and ordered him to take bath first .Bless went from there with sad face and took bath .After that he got ready for school and without talking to his dad he just went into the car. Rain was very happy with that because he always wanted dad to hate Bless .
"Come out and have some meal first," said dad to Bless. Bless saw that Rain was happy with his sad face so he in order to make him more jealous went out and obeyed his father because he knew it very well what Rain wished for. Bless just went in and started eating but didn't talk to his dad."Are you upset with me ? But you have to understand that you must have patience and I promise that during your vacation I will take you there ," dad tried to convince him .Bless agreed on that but didn't say anything .Finally vacations started and now his dad took him to the same restaurant he insisted to go .But the mermaid there wasn't a real lady and dad knew it but didn't say it to him so that he could be satisfied on that and wouldn't be more curious.
Bless stared at that mermaid and he recognized that she wasn't a real mermaid .So Bless requested his dad to take him to another restaurant .Dad was shocked and asked him," How do you know it that the mermaid isn't real?" Bless said nothing but went out of that restaurant .His dad could sense it how did he knew it so easily that the mermaid in that restaurant wasn't real but he still pretended as if he had no idea about it .
He went to Bless and without saying anything he took him to another restaurant but again mermaid was fake. Bless was totally irritated and he now wanted to return to home .Dad felt so bad for him and for cheering him up he said ," Still some restaurants are remaining which you had listed so let's go and try at once ." Bless denied and just wanted to go home . As soon as they reached home ,Bless ran into his room and started studying.
Dad saw that he was studying but his focus was somewhere else. Dad cooked his favourite food and tried to make him happy but Bless pushed him back and went from there .Dad couldn't understand why he was so upset because as far as he knew it wasn't for not getting real mermaid .
Dad searched for him but he was hiding with him .Finally dad got injured and Bless ran to him .He was so worried for him. Dad just hugged him and asked if he had hurt him and even apologized if he did any mistake .Bless asked about his mother's death. Dad was shocked and couldn't understand what did he mean by asking such question.
" what happen? Why are you asking such question ?" asked dad . So Bless ran to room and brought that report which had been hidden always and only grandpa was known about it and after grandpa step mother knew it only but she used it as a medium to break dad and son's relation .She had already told everything to Bless that he was responsible for his mother's death .
When dad saw that report and formality paper, he was shocked too ." I have killed my mother .Why ? Why did she do that ?How can I live with such guilt ,dad ?" Bless started weeping and hugged his dad .His dad tried a lot to make him fine but Bless was totally broken .And he hardly slept .After he slept dad went to another room and broke down in emotion because that news was shocking for him too because he was unknown about the real reason of his wife's death so far .He had no idea about that formality she had signed just for Bless.
He immediately went to the hospital and tried to understand the matter clearly so he found that she had pressure from grandpa and also she herself wanted to bring that baby into this world. He thought that he was also responsible for that because he wasn't with her when she was in such dilemma .But finally he handled himself and prepared him to handle Bless .Next day when Bless woke up he found that his dad was sleeping at his leg .He felt so bad and just made his dad wake up too .
"Good morning ! my boy and what do you prefer to eat ?" dad asked him. Bless denied for anything and went from there . Dad went to him and said," I am also shocked after knowing it because I had no idea too .And I am also responsible for her death so I think I should also feel guilty and stop doing anything .But its not a solution .She wanted you to come and create something new .If you will be sad like this then how can her soul rest in peace so just forget everything and just know one thing that she loved you very much and now you have to respect her sacrifice instead of regretting. "
Bless saw that his dad was weeping and now he realized that how hard the situation was for his dad to know such thing suddenly. Bless stood front and apologized his dad and promised that he would never repeat the topic again. Dad finally got relief and hugged him.
After that they went to the beach again and spent their quality time there. One day his step mother made a conspiracy to throw Bless out of the house .She went to Bless and started showing frustration that his dad only cared for him alone and treated her and her son as outsider .She in order to threaten him called some boys and ordered them to kill him .Bless was so scared and just requesting her to leave him . So she said ," You have only one option and that is you have to run away and never dare to return ." " Now run ," she shouted and Bless without thinking more just started running .While he was running at the road his dad saw him as he was returning from hospital .He immediately stopped the car and started following him on foot .He was shouting and running as faster a he could but Bless was unable to listen to him due to loud noise of running vehicles .Suddenly a car hit his dad and he was badly injured .
